"It is not a critiscm

Just because I critique something that does not mean I am being critically of it.   I am a fan so just being a fan I have opinions but there is a difference then overanalyzing everything.   I have been extremely critical of fans because I believe they have taken the fun out of being a fan of professional wrestling that they are more concerned with how many flips and dives that take place to the outside these are what is known now as: high spots in the business.      That is not what I care about.   What I really enjoy about professional wrestling is the heat and the emotion which is pretty much gone.   Dave Meltzer would problay say that the business has passed me by but I still enjoy it but a lot of those elements that made the product work in the past fans are not concerned and that is a shame.   But everyone has things about entertainment that they like in that respect professional wrestling is no different.   I want fans to enjoy what they like about professional wrestling.   But what I do not like if someone has a different opinion they are criticized for it I love to hear different opinions because I want to learn what they like.   There is a notion that fans are in on what professional wrestling is I competly disagree.   I think in exchanging ideas and opinions you may form a better opinion change your opinion or just keep your opinion.   I just think all of us we do better to listen to one another instead of just criticizing it.  

"Get in the arena

Go to the place where they are making the thing that you like.   Go to the thing that moves you that gets you excited.   Get in the arena.   I may not get there today but I will get there.   It is diffcult to put yourself out there especially when you are like me who admittedly had no idea what I was doing I just started.   The hardest part for me was just getting started.   I began this writing quoting Conan O’Brien about how most people just want to be famous but they are not sure what they do.   You have to have something that you want to do.   I am extremely proud that I discovered Jes Famma’s Almost Famma on youtube the reason I like her she is keeping hard rock and rock’n roll alive by presenting and interviewing new musicans and entertainers that mean something.   Also Jes is also extremely kind.   I never want to support new music just to support it just because it is new it has to be good.   There is a lot of great music out there but unfortunaly it is diffcult to find.   But if there are new musicans that I enjoy I want fans to know about it.   The best thing I can do is admit that I was not sure what I was doing but try to get in the arena.   It is diffcult for me know what my interests are.   One of the rules in Chris Hardwick’s book is to list your interests and combine your interests if possible.    I have done that with my opinions on music professional wrestling politics religion etc.   There is an old saying never discuess politics or religion my thinking is why not?   Politics and religion are not the main objective of this I just have strong opinions on them.   Elizabeth Banks said that men are too stupid to enjoy feminist cinema I do not believe that is true examples: Aliens Ripley Terminators 2 Sarah Connor etc.   I just think people do not want an agenda.     Maybe men feel emasculated by strong female chracters.       Elizabeth Banks plays a female Bosley in the new Charlie’s Angles that sounds awesome!   I am going to get in the arena I am not sure how I will get there I will just take small steps.   When I said it is diffcult for me to list my interests it is the same as when people ask which one is your favorites.   I can say things I like but it is impossible for me to list just one.  

Emotion

In an interview:  Laura Brangian was asked what makes her music her connection with her fans unique?   She said that most pop music lacks emotion that her emotion is what connects her to the audience.   She wanted to have an emotional connect with her audience she thinks she has the ability to reach out and touch the audience because the audience touches her as well.   Laura wanted to have the ability to have the ultimate love affair with the audience.   I get the same sense listening to Juliana Hateflied Tori Amos and Aimee Mann especially Juliana and Aimmee because it is all about genuine real sliced open emotion.   That is what Tori Amos goes after sliced open emotion she is interested in chasing the dark she has been for a while.   Aimmee Mann has been asked why her songs are so depressing why can she not write happy songs?   I find her music to be depressing and inspiring at the exact same time.   In my opinion those are the best songs and songwriters.  

"The Vision continued

So how do you know what your vision is if are not sure what it is?   Now before I go any further I am a believer in God that is not insignificant because if you do not believe in God or even spiritual this will not be possible.   Some people think prayer is a waste of time because they think God has already planned everything so I am going to just confess sins and hope I do not go to hell.   I hate to be that blunt but I think it is true.   That is not what God wants from us he wants us to have a relationship with him.    I had someone ask me what that means a “relationship with God?   Here is what I think it means: we were all created in God’s image which means we all have yarning to stay in constant connect with God communicating with him.   Which also means telling God when we are mad at him confused anything.   God can handle it all.   One of the biggest problems people make such a big deal out of prayer they say I do not even know where to start.   Or they think God does not want to hear from me that is why he is up in heaven to help all of us and I do mean all of us.   This is not just a select few God loves all us even when we turn our back on him he wants us to come back to him.   God wants us to turn away from our sin.   This is just my own interruption what I am about to say: turning away from sin does not mean living a perfect life and at hearing to a perfect life that no one can at hear.   God does not expect us to be perfect he wants us to live our lives shine our lights and not hide them which means making mistakes.   God expects one thing from all of us obedience which means not living a perfect life but keeping things in prospective.    Also and this is an important designation that needs to be made God never expects us to figure anything out about our lives.   The bible does not say anything about figuring out nothing.   Show me in the bible where it says figure anything out.    Which is challenging for me being a recovering control freak.    If you are not trying to grow in your faith something is wrong and you must go back and reassess your priorities.    That means asking your friends or family whoever for help.   I am never too ashamed to ask for help and I hope someone would ask me for help when they need it.   But most of the time I am not sure how to be specific when asking for help.   So just take that step you will be surprised by the reaction.   I heard about many teenagers and young people committing suicide the main reason is hopelessness.   How could that be because these individuals were young how could they lose hope?   These young people may not have had hope to begin that is the real tragedy!   There is so much hopelessness out there.   There is so much cynicism out there even from those closest to you that is the real sad part.   Most of the time those closest   to us think they are protecting us because they think they are being “realistic”.    I got so sick and tired of people saying to me I am just being realistic.   I heard that so many times I stopped saying anything.   They just cannot see the vision or the coming attraction that God has for you that is the real problem.   If you think you have a lot of time to mess around before you die you are wrong because time just keeps getting shorter and shorter. “Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets that may that readeith it.  Habakkuk 2/2.     In other words: the vision is made plain so if they read it will run to it.    Look I am not sure if vision boards and the like work but most successful people will tell you they work or that is how they started getting a clearer vision of what they want.   It is very complicated to answer the question of what do you want?   “The one who don’t do anything are the ones who always try to bring you down” Henry Rollins.   That could be those that are closest to us being “realistic again.   That does not mean that they do not love and care about you that is why they are being “realistic” but in your mind they are just bringing you down.   Have you ever noticed that it is easier to break something a part then to build it up?   I am not suggesting that you should not have anything to do with those closest to you but maybe do not bring up your vision with them because remember they still love you and want the best for you.   This vision you have should not destroy the relationship with your family the vision you have should be there to help you not to harm you.   If it is harming that may not be from God so know the difference.   That vision should be there to help guide you and to help you live a more satisfying life.   Did you know God did not make any of us to live stagnant lives?   There are people out there who think life is just a serious of events that just happened to them   I sure do pity them!   I am not one of those Christians who believes that everything turns out for the best or thinks everything happens for a reason.   I do not think I would be a good comforter not because I do not care but for this reason alone they would ask me questions that I would not have the answer.   Laura Baron suggested sharing your vision you have with a stranger because they may see something in your vision that you do not.   “If you think you have a 100 years to mess around you’re wrong”.   Henry Rollins.
