“It is a moment in time,
you’ll never remember all the faces you met or the places you’ve visited in
this life, but the people you’ve touched will remember you for the rest of
their lives, so you must make it Good for every single one of them!”
Ronnie James Dio In other words "give the fans their moment." "Stay Hard Stay Heavy! Garbage was that band that started it all for me Sharley Manson's voice scares me to death I love every minute of it! #1 crush by garbage is such a haunting song I love it! Garbage was a band that really did change my life for the better. My lover’s box is also a beautiful and haunting song and the song supervixen is a unique and haunting song from the band's first album. Garbage was a band that came around when really good alternative music was coming out in the late 1990s many great female musicians became popular at this time musicians such as Tori Amos Juillana Hatflied Liz Phair Fiona Apple Alanis Morrisete what made all these artists unique was their sound. What I like about them is they all sounded different and mixed so many different sounds together. Garbage was the best and really was the band that changed everything for me. Music like garbage I wonder what is this but I can not stop listening to their music. There have been many other musicians like that but never really ever really reached the mainstream. I guess that is what people mean when they call something punk rock or alternative during the 1990s. It was not about the sound or how loud the music is it is an attitude. It is about the passion for the music it is about your creating and doing something different and not really caring about the mainstream and about what is popular at the moment. That is what I really respect and I love! Garbage had a song called sex is not the enemy I think that is true. I think one of the reasons Iggy Pop and The Stooges were not mainstream because Iggy Pop would talk about things that were considered to be taboo I think a song like I want to be your dog were considered to be too obscene for the mainstream which I guess is fine but I wish more people knew about it. On the hand why would you want to make everyone like you? That is what made Iggy Pop's music great the music talked about topics that no one wanted to talk about such as sex which I guess made it punk rock. That's what has made Joan Jett so great she did not care about what everyone else wanted her music to be she did it her own way. Which is why she has done so many different things with music but she never really had alot of mainstream #1 songs but she had her niche and stuck with it. The song I love Rock'n Roll became a female inpowerment anthem for many females with the lyrics I said can take you home where we can be alone so they could have sex. The song was written and performed by the rock band the arrows. The arrows wrote the song from a male prospective with the lyrics I knew she must have been about steventeen which Joan Jett changed the words to give the song a female prospective about a guy she notices standing by a jukebox. In an interview with Mojo Magazine Jett looked back on this song "I think most people who love some kind of rock'n roll can relate to it. Everyone knows a song that makes them feel amazing and want to jump up and down. I quickly realized , this song is gonna follow you're ether gonna let it bother you or you gotta make peace with it and feel blessed that you were involved something that touched so many people." from songfacts Joan Jett interview in 2008 with Mojo Magazaine in 2008 about I love Rock'n Roll The song bad reputation was a written by Joan Jett and her producer Kenny Laguna who wrote this song as an answer to her critics who said she was dangerous and had a bad reputation and a message to all the record companies that would not sign her. Bad reputation was also a response to the people who said girls could not play that kind of music. Bad reputation became a punk rock female inpowerment anthem that become an inspiration to many female and male musicians. In the 1980s there was a band named Warlock this band had a Germany front woman named Doro Pesch there band was not really well known but had such a heavy sound and warlock would talk about the devil and witches in a song called burning the witches and a great ballad called without you. Doro continued a solo career with songs such as even angles cry and love me in black which she continued to have her own sound. She had a heavy sound and very dark music. I do not think the music ever reached the mainstream. In the 1980s a rock band from New Jersey named Saraya had a led singer named Sandi Saraya the band had only two albums their debut self titled album Saraya in 1989 and a second album called When The Blackbird Sings in 1991. The band was considered to be a Bon Jovi type of band with a female led singer from New Jersey Sandi Saraya listed The Pretenders front woman Chrissie Hynde has a main influence. Songs most well known by Saraya are back to the bullet and love has taken its toll. Joan Jett took chances and even had a rap song called black leather on the album good music just like Debbie Harry from Blondie with the song rapture Debbie Harry is given credit for introducing hip hop to a new audience. In 1997 musician Meredith Brooks became a one hit wonder with her song bitch she meant the word bitch has a complement towards women meaning that women could do so many different things and be independent and that not one label could define her. The song became popular but certain radio stations would not call the song by it’s name radio stations would just say a song by Meredith Brooks one radio station wanted Meredith Brooks to change the song from bitch to witch which she refused. On the street people and friends call her the bitch lady. Meredith Books also had a couple more songs from her album blurring the edges songs like what would happen and I need and shout. What would happen is in my opinion is a great song very unique and underrated. Most everything Meredith Brooks did I like songs such as you don't know me and watched you fall were great. I really do not understand why her music did not become more well known very unique really great music but I feel the same way about Joan Jett and Lita Ford but again maybe that is why I love Meredith Brooks music to begin with Meredith Brooks was not trying to please everyone she makes the music she wants to make. Shirley Manson said she did not really care if people liked Garbage's music and she did not care about the band's legacy. I love that it's all about having your niche. Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles released her first solo album When Youre a boy in 1991 with a great ballad called my side of the bed and a wonderful cover of Cyndi Lauper’s song unconditional love. Susanna Hoffs also had a great pop rock song in 1996 called all I want and also did a cover of Donovan's catch the wind for the movie Red Roses and Petrol soundtrack which I think is the best version of the song. In 2012 Susanna Hoffs released an album called someday with a great song picture me with horns a very beautiful song. Susanna Hoffs said she wanted the song to have a 1960s feel to it. Songs like this and the reason I like them so much is Susanna Hoffs changed her sound and did something completely different from The Bangles with her solo albums. Led Zeppelin was a great band very influential changed Rock'n Roll and one of the bands that is given credit for starting heavy metal. Robert Plant gives Jimmy Page most of the credit for Led Zeppelin’s success Robert Plant has said that Jimmy Page brought so much out of him that he never knew he had that they brought the best out of each other. Songs like Kashmir is one of the great guitar riffs in my opinion and Going to California is a beautiful song and wonderful storytelling. To me I like Robert Planet's solo music better than Led Zepplin but his solo career is not has well known. Robert Planet's album Zen and Now released in 1988 had a great song called Tall Cool One that really sounded nothing like Led Zepplin with a little sample of Led Zepplin's Black Dog the song Tall Cool One that had so many different elements to make the song unique and great. 29 pamls is a wonderful song by Robert Planet released in 1993. In a 2011 Robert Plant said in an interview with GQ Robert Planet said avoiding a Led Zepplin renunion was the key to his sucess but in the same interview called Jimmy Page one of most spectular guitar players of the late twentieth century. One of the best aspects of Robert Planet's music is during a forty year music career Robert Planet’s solo music was different than Led Zepplin which is why I like it. Doro Pesh did a cover a trubte to Ronnie James Dio with Doro's verison of Dio's the chains are on a really haunting cover its great. Tori Amos was raped when she was 20 years old after seeing the movie Thelma and Louise Tori Amos begain writting lyrics to a song about her experience called me and a gun and in 1994 Tori Amos created Rape Abuse Incest National Network RAINN. Crazy by Aerosmith I like the way Steven Tyler says come ere baby the music video had Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler. In the song trip my wire by Garbage the lyrics seem to about a girl whose tells a guy how fragile she is and how easily broken she can be but she tells the guy i'm a fighter and she tells him this not what I came here for I interpret that to mean this was not what she thought the situation would be and that the guy is not who she thought he would be with the lyrics your a cheat your a liar as the song goes on she seems to tells the guy that she seems to get stronger and seems to tells the guy that she maybe fragile but she says I'm a bitch babe I'm a fire Trip my wire seems to mean don't mess with me and don't cross me. She seems to say she can handle everything that he does to her and she can bring something similar back to him that he has brought to her. The lyrics seem to suggest to the guy that she is going to control the situation and is going to leave the guy and is not going to deal with what the guy has done to her with lyrics I don't need this anymore. What I love about this is song that Shirley Madison seems to sing about how the guy needs to be careful with her and that she is fragile and she is easily broken but she says at least I'm not liar and a cheat and she can deal with it because she is a bitch and not to mess with her and cross that line with her that seems to be what she means when she says don't trip my wire that the guy knows how far he can take it but there is a limit to far how far he can take it and he knows that line. In my opinion this song is about someone whose says that they are vulnerable but can be very strong willed and can take care herself and does not need that person in her anymore and she can deal with all that he has brought to her and is saying you know not to cross that line with me because if you do you know what I can do if you push me. On page 348 of the book Foley Is Good Mick Foley refers to Paul Heyman as the "Mad" Scientist" for giving him the freedom to cut promos and letting Mick experiment to see what would work and what would not work. Mick gives Paul Heyman a lot of credit for just giving him a little direction with promos and how Mick wanted to come across to the audience but basically Paul let Mick do what he wanted to do which Mick says helped him later in the WWE as Mandkind. Paul Heyman said in an interview with Micheal Landsbreg on Off The Record that one of luxuries he had in ECW that he was not given in the WWE is to take some of the guys and sometimes lead them by the hand and accentuate someone's strengths and hide their negatives so well that the audience did not see them. Paul Heyman did that for a lot of people that said without Paul Heyman's direction that person would not have been as successful when certain people left ECW because Paul Heyman let them find their persona or gimmick first and did not give a person a character and say to the talent this is what we have come up for a person to do Paul Heyman would see what a talent was comfortable doing first then letting them go out and see if what that talent wanted to do connects with the audience. Raven uses a movie analogy between Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese Raven has said that Paul Heyman is just like Martin Scorese was to Robert DNiro that helped him find his persona or gimmick and he did that for a lot of people who have said with Paul Heyman’s direction they would not have been sucessful. Turing up the volume means to take characteristics of a person's personality and extending them and in my opinon the word character should never be used in professional wrestling. The worst thing about this is some people tell the talent who their character is without seeing if it fits the tanlet or a tanlet comes up with someone they would like to be rather than who they are. I feel the best professional wrestlers are not characters it is taking certain characteristics that the talent has come up or something where the talent has been given just enough direction and given the chance to create their own persona or gimmick. I really believe a wrestler should never be just given a character because I feel in the long run that will hurt the talent someone should see what fits with a wrestler's personality first then see what that person is comfortable doing. Let them experiment to see what connects with the audience then tweak what a talent does not think is connecting with the audience and have someone such as a writer or a booker work with that talent one on one to see how a talent can improve what they are doing to keep trying to connect with the audience. I have felt that the most successful professional wresters were not characters the talent took certain characteristics from their own personality and amplified those characteristics that the talent wanted to use. One example is the professional wrestler Raven and his real life as Scott Leavy. Raven was a complete opposite in his personality. Paul Heyman worked with Scott Leavy to create a persona that both Paul Heyman and Scott Leavy took a completely different approach to Scott Leavy's real life personality but Paul Heyman led Scott Leavy with just enough direction to work on the different aspects of his gimmick or persona that Scott Leavy wanted to use. This was to see what connected with the audience and whether he was able to garner sympathy or anger from the audience. The more Raven tried to gain sympathy from the audience by discussing his childhood and how his father would drink and was abusive the opposite effect occurred and only caused the audience to hate him. What Raven was trying to do worked but the opposite reaction occurred. Scott Leavy's thought as his persona as Raven he would receive sympathy from the audience. This was completely different from Raven's real personality as Scott Leavy but he still made the audience believe that what he was commuting was true and really happened which part of the art form is. The term having a program in professional wrestling means having a series of matches or having a feud with an opponent. An angle in professional wrestling is something that is setup by a booker which is a person that forms a rundown sheet or format or script which is a word I hate and would never use. An angle in professional wrestling is used to enhance a program with a professional wrestler or to add more suspense and make the program seem more personal between the two professional wrestlers and to make the feud or program more believable to the audience. The term storyline also is used by many in professional wrestling today but it was never used until the late 1980s and early 1990s. The angles and the larger than life personalities and programs is what make professional wrestling such a unique and different art form. A swerve in professional wrestling is when a professional wrestler tells a booker or owner what the professional wrestler will do. What the booker or owner reviews with the professional wrestler and agrees to do in an event and does the opposite is the swerve. This swerve that the professional wrestler has perpetrated is a con or lie to the booker or promoter. In a court of law if a person did the same thing such as a swerve that would be called perjure. In professional wrestling I love a swerve because it shocks and surprises and keeps the audience guessing and wondering what is spontaneous and what is planned. A swerve in professional wrestling also gives a wrestler an opportunity to express their true feelings about a topic. An example of swerves that have occurred in professional wrestling are the Andy Kaufman Jerry Lawler angle that happened on Late Night With David Letterman and The night the line was crossed when The Franchise Shane Douglas became The NWA Champion and proclaimed the NWA championship as The ECW World Heavyweight Championship and ECW became known as Extreme Championship Wrestling. The Eagles life in fast lane the drumming by Don Henley on this song and guitar playing is what I love about the song life in fast lane. I especially love the drumming in my opinion that is what makes the song. Beat The Geeks a great game show and fun show that should have lasted longer. Tiffany Bolton was a great CO host. All I can say about her is you lucky bastard! I love when she would say that to me that was attractive and hot. The song Kashmir the lead singer Robert Plant Jimmy Page on guitar John Paul Jones's keyboard playing and John Bonham’s drumming all those elements combined made the song what it is. Jimmy page's guitar riff which Jimmy Page called a hypnotic riff is part of what made the song. Robert Plant’s vocals are amazing. The Headpins are a band from Canada that has a lead singer named Darby Mills that had such great songs such as stayin' all night and just one more time. In 1991 Darby Millis released an album called never look back with a new group of musicians called Darby Mills and the Unsung Heroes that had such powerful songs such as give it all up and a great rock ballad called cry to me. Darby Mills voice was so passionate I could feel the emotions that she was trying to convey to the listeners. The music Darby Millis created for me was so inspirational and connected with me on so many different levels and shows me healing power of music. Never look back was such an amazing album and the name of a great song called never look back again. The band Sonic Youth was an alternative rock band that had a front woman named Kim Gordon her voice was so sensual. There is a section in kool thing that where Kim Gordon sounds orgasmic. I really do not know what I can say about the song accepted very sexual and hot. I would like to thank Kim Gordon rock on! Chrissie Hynde’s debut solo album Stockholm released in 2014 superb. When I was growing up my dream was to work for MTV and be what became known as a VJ I thought that would be the best job in the world because I have always loved music and I knew I wanted to be around a camera or behind a microphone. When I growing up I would pretend I was doing my own show and act like I was talking to a camera and had my own my TV show. I would think about what it would like to be a VJ and image myself being a VJ and how much fun it would be. This was before the internet so I had to use so much more of my imagination I remember my mom would ask me who I was talking I have always hated being the center of attention so in someways this goal really makes no sense to me. Bret Hart said in an interview that Vince McMahon did not know what to do with Bret’s younger brother Owen Vince McMahon did not think Owen had potential and could not archive what Bret had done and was thinking about firing Owen. Bret asked Vince to let him work with Owen and they began having a feud/program/storyline against each other and at Wrestlemina 10 Bret and Owen made history when for the first time ever two brothers had a match at a Wrestlemina. In my opinion this is one of my favorite matches. They brought so much out each other during this match. I think Bret knew how great Owen was and that is why Bret worked so hard with Owen to prove how good he was to everyone. Together in my opinion no one at the time were having such amazing matches. Bret Hart was such a gifted technical mat wrestler and Owen had the technical mat style as well but combined that with his aeriral artistry which made those matches classics. The Franchise Shane Douglas is the professional wrestler I can relate to the most because he was the wrestler who would take something for so long and then he would just go off on situations that infuriated him about people or incidences that happened in the professional wrestling business. This all began when Shane Douglas was working for WCW and the booker the person who makes the matches at the time was Ric Flair and Shane Douglas felt he was mistreated and being held down by Flair and WCW. So he left WCW and went to smaller company named Eastern Championship Wrestling that was located in Philadelphia called Eastern Championship Wrestling that was still a part of The National Wrestling Alliance the NWA which was being booked by Dennis Coralluzzo. Dennis Coralluzzo was telling Shane Douglas how great it would be for him to be the NWA champion and then his good friend Mike Tenay called him and asked him if had heard what Dennis Coralluza had been saying about him on Mike Tenay's radio show. Dennis Coraulluza was telling people that they should not book him and that he was unreliable that he took money from people and never showed up for them and at this point ECW was running maybe a show a month at this point so this was really going to hurt Shane Douglas's reputation with potential bookers. This really infuriated Shane Douglas because Dennis Coralluza was telling him how great it would be great for the company for him to be the NWA Champion and then he was going on Mike Tenay radio show telling people not to book him and Shane Doulas felt Dennis Corallua was being two faced beacuse he was telling Shane Douglas something completely different from what he was saying on Mike Tenay radio show. Then Paul Heyman who had just come into the company gave Shane Douglas an idea of a swerve where Shane Douglas would win the NWA championship and make Dennis Corallua think it would be a night for NWA and then Shane Doulas and Paul Heyman would double cross Dennis Corallua and make it ECW's night. On August 27, 1994 the night that become known as The Night The Line Was Crossed. Shane Douglas wins the NWA championship and throws the NWA championship on the canvas and this was Shane telling his dad who was a World War 2 veteran that his dad would always tell him it is easy to be the middle of road and how it is easy to be non controversial but his dad would tell him about all the people throughtout history that made it They were always people who took chances. Shane's dad had died a month prior in October 1993. So this was Shane telling his dad this was the first time has a man he was able to put what his dad taught him into practice so Shane proclaimed the Eastern Championship Wrestling championship The Extreme Championship Wrestling Championship which Dennis Corallua did not know this was going to happen and he lost control of part of NWA and ECW broke apart from the NWA and became their own company which was called Extreme Championship Wrestling ECW. The differences between The Franchise Shane Douglas and his real life as Tory Martain and the people who had seen Tory Martain temper blow know there was not such a difference between Tory Martain even tempered and pissed and that The Franchise Shane Douglas persona that was Troy Martain pissed off times ten. The Franchise Shane Doulas was the guy who would beat someone up and steal that person’s girlfriend. There is a big part of me that wants to be that person the guy who has the edgy girlfriend and can only take so much bullshit from people I feel like I would be that person and I have done this many times where I will just go off on people or situations in general. So in that regard I can relate to getting so angry and trying to be nice and polite to people but there seems to come a time where I just can not take it anymore and will just explode. The Franchise Shane Douglas was like that I think he would take it till he could not take anymore and just go off. Then later he would think well maybe I should not have said that and think well I have alright said it's done. I can certainly relate to that. I feel so much better after I say how I feel about things. Examples of The Franchise Shane Doulas edgy on screen girlfriends are: Sherri Martel the Queen of Exterme the Head Cheerleader Francine and Torrie Willson in WCW. I can not forget about other edgy women in professional wrestling such as Missty Hyait with Hot Stuff Eddie Gillbert. Missty Hyait was awesome. Say What? Karaoke this was one of my favorite shows on MTV hosted by Dave Holmes I loved this show one of the reasons I enjoyed show was Dave Holmes as the host but what I loved at the time were people would get up and sing some of the most popular songs at the time. The judges were some of the best celebrity judges such as: Carrot Top Matt Pinfeld and Kathy Griffin. Some of these judges were nicer then others Kathy Griffin seemed like all she gave the contests was a score of zero and Matt Pinfeld would usually give a contest an 8 or 9 just for the effort but gave many constants 10s. Kathy Griffin seemed like she was always holding a zero in her hand. There would be different rounds where songs were picked at random by spinning a wheel and that contest had to sing that song and if the constant did not know the song Dave would always say that if they did not know the song that is too damn bad. That is what I always remembered about him as the host. What I loved about the show was during the summer MTV would have the show somewhere outside at different places. Laura Lifshitz was an amazing CO host she seemed like she would be a ton of fun to be around she had the energy and at the time she had red hair. Jesse Camp was a contestant on I wanna be a VJ. on MTV. Where the person who won would get a job with MTV and become a VJ. The two remaining contestants were Dave Holmes and Jesse Camp Jesse Camp won the contest but Dave Holmes did get a job with MTV Jesse Camp was a cool dude He was the kind of the guy that had the long hair and what I think a person would call him a hippie but a fun dude and people feel in love with this dude. He was just so much fun he would ask people fun questions that people may or may not have wanted to know. He was just having fun and I knew he had a good heart and was a great person. Jesse Camp seemed like a guy that just loved life and had a care free attitude and when he became a VJ. for MTV you could just tell that this was a dream come true for him. What a cool dude. Jesse Camp was just having the time of his life has a VJ world and it is hard for me to be positive I am not naturally a happy person but I as happy as I can I have to work on it everyday. I know that it is worth it because I do not want to bring everyone else down it took me a long time to figure this out I do not want to be and try not to be selfish man it is hard. I think about all the comedians who struggle in life dealing with depression and what is awful about depression is it is different for everyone and affects people in different ways and many times it makes no sense and what I want people to understand is depression makes people not think logically and can make a person do things that they would not normally do. I think many comedians try to make everyone else feel better and do not take care of themselves. I can imagine how difficult it would be for comedians to come off stage because it must be such a high for a comedian to bring joy to people and how hard it must be to come down from that. Here is a list of professional wrestlers who when they went to the WWE that were not as successful or not sucessful at all when they went to the WWE: The Dragon Ricky Steamboat the WWE made him someone who wore something like a dragon costume that would breath and shoot fire. Even though one of his favorite matches is his match he had with The Macho King at the time Randy Savage at Wrestlemina 3 which is a match many fans consider one of the greatest matches. I did not like this match in my opinion he had better matches with Nature Boy Ric Flair in the NWA/WCW where he became the world heavyweight champion. The American Dream Dusty Rhodes in my opinion was turned into a joke where Dusty Rhodes wore pink and poke a dots and danced. Arn Anderson was not as successful when he left the NWA for the WWE. The Rock'n Roll Express Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton were not as successful when they went to the WWE. The Steiner Brothers were not as successful when they went to the WWE but they spent most of their career in WCW. Steve Kerin was not successful when he went to the WWE and became Skinner. Terry Taylor was not sucessful in the WWE when he became The Red Roster. The Dirty White Boy Tony Anothy was not sucessful in the WWE when he become T.L Hopper. The point I am trying to make in my opinion the WWE maybe the place to be but it is not the place to be for everyone. I want parents to feed their own children breakfast and no I do not want children to starve to death and kids who can only receive a meal at school then I want them to be able to eat. I just think if parents cannot provide their own kid’s breakfast then parents should not have kids. In my opinion it is better for children psychically to show them that parents care enough to make their kids breakfast. I also think parents should think about before they have children if they have the income to take care of their kids. I know I might sound heartless to some people I just do not want children to be indoctrinated into a system at early ages where they will grow up believing it is the state's responsibility to take care of them for the rest of their lives. I just do not want a bunch of able bodied people to become depended on the government Both the WWF and the NWA/WCW captured fans imaginations. When they think of those memories they are brought back to life to me there is nothing more powerful then that. NWA/WCW on TBS fans at the time always remember the time 6:05 that is the time NWA/WCW came on TBS. Fans of that time many of them will say professional wrestling it is just not like it used to be. I want people to understand something about Chrisitanity and about religion in general a person's religion is something very personal to a specific individual but I do not believe that any religion should condone killing in the name of their religion In my opinion religions that kill in the name of their religion most frequently as a county people need to discuss and admit that this is a problem I know that it is difficult for people to talk about this problem because many people do not want to offend certain people's religion but the only way to fix a problem is to identify it. You may not like what you see. An analogy of this is when a person goes to the doctor and the patient needs to lose weight for health reasons but the doctor does not tell the patient that the person needs to lose weight because the doctor does not want to hurt that person feelings and so the doctor does not tell the patient they need to lose weight. So who suffers? The patient who needs to lose weight it is your job as a doctor to tell the patient that they need to lose weight. I want to explain some misconceptions some people have about people who proclaim to be Christians being a Christian does not mean that you have a perfect life yes it is comforting to know that you have God's Holy Spirit with you but it makes your life harder in other ways because people are waiting for you to mess up so people can say see I knew you did not believe in God. Life is hard for everyone I do not care who you are in life everyone will go through tragedies and difficulties in life. When people die or are going through health issues Christians worry about people and cry just like everyone else does. We are all human beings and have emotions and when someone you love passes away I have often heard atheists say if you know that person who passed away is in a better place then why are you crying? The reason is people love and care and will miss that person. I do believe people can get obsessed and become too religious and worry about everything they do. I have been just like that in the past. It can really hurt you if you live your life that way. I am not saying people should not read the bible for comfort in life in my opinion when a person reads the bible God's Holy Spirit can come into a person’s heart I have come to the realization that all I can do is try to be a better person but still have fun and enjoy my life even if some Christians do not believe what I believe. I am going to talk about how much I love musician/actress Willa Ford I loved all of her music. I loved when she would be a guest host on TRL that was so much fun she would take calls from the viewers and just have fun with them. I loved when she was one of the hosts on the TV show I bet you will on MTV. The show was about how people would do anything for money. The hosts would find people from a crowd outside and the hosts would pick a person and pay them money to do an outrageous bet the hosts would try to see how much money it would take to get a person to do a bet. The hosts would keep offering more money to get a person to do the best and once that person agreed to do the bet that person had to give the host a hand shake to show that person would do the bet. The host I enjoyed watching more than anyone else was Willa Ford she was the best part of the show in my opinion. Willa Ford had a great first album called Willa Was Here with songs such as: I wanna to be bad ooh ooh and haunted heart. One of my favorite Willa Ford songs is fuck the men featuring rapper Lady May. The song was a dance pop song about girls just having fun forgetting about men and just having fun with the girls. I love this song. Willa Ford just kinda stop her music career and started acting. Willa Ford had blonde hair then she became a red head I already loved her before but when she became a red head that made me love her even more. Just in case people do not know I have always had a thing for redheads! I believe in God because at what I thought was me at my darkest point in my life I cried out to God and asked him for me to receive his Holy Spirit into my heart. It felt like to me it took a very long time because at this point in my life I was not thinking clearly and I felt like my mind was turning on me. I finally knew that God’s Holy Spirit had come into my heart. The reason I knew this was the feeling I had in my heart I felt a change in my heart and I knew God’s Holy Spirit was finally with me. It took a very long time after that to get my mind to start thinking clearly again it was challenge for me because I had not been thinking clearly for such a long time that I had to learn how to rethink logically. That is what desperation does to a person’s mind. In my opinion as a country people need to do more for mental health a person may not even know that they need help because mental health problems cause people to not even know they may need help. As a country people need to stop looking down on people that are going through mental issues because it causes people to not seek help because people are worried that people will think that they are crazy and therefore people do not ask for help. I know for me I did not know what I was going to do. But I know having God’s Holy Spirit in my life is the main part of why I have the comfort I do in my life. That does not mean that my life is easy I can not even comprehend why most problems occur in life and when a person I love or may not even know are suffering through health issues I worry and cry just like anyone would and when someone I know and love passes away I cry just like anyone would. I do this because I am only a human being even though I believe in God. I have realized the longer I have lived the more life does not make sense to me that is why I need God’s Holy Spirit in my life for comfort and guidance because life is that screwed up and complicated. There are aspects of professional wrestling that I believe must be preserved. The larger than life personalities as an art form the business must never let that go away. The fundamentals of professional wrestling must never be lost the basic psychology and storytelling must never be lost. An example of this is when someone meets Tom Cruise you are meeting Tom Cruise not Jerry Maguire when someone meets Ric Flair that person is meeting Ric Flair. Joan Jett in my opinion has some of the most beautiful heartfelt songs that only a female could project I know Joan Jett is known mostly for her hard rock punk stuff but to me most of Joan Jett’s best material are her ballads and love songs about long lost love. The album Notorious is a masterpiece with such gorgeous songs such as: don’t surrender lie to me wait for me and one of my favorite Joan Jett songs ashes in the wind. The song don’t surrender is a song to me where I can feel the emotions that she is trying to convey to the listeners Joan Jett sings with such passion it shows to me her love from her heart. Wait for me is another great ballad about not leaving a person you love but you have to someday. The song lie to me another beautiful ballad about someone who thinks that a person who you love does not love you anymore so Joan Jett is asking the person that she loves to lie to me because I still love you. Ashes in the wind is one of my favorite Joan Jett ballads about someone you love that you do not have a lot of time to be with that person and you do not want to lose that love that you had. The album sinner has a beautiful song called watersing is a beautiful song that I think is about someone that you love that you take care. I still dream about you I love that song. It is on the album up you alley my favorite part of the song I still dream about you I love the laugh by Joan Jett at the beginning of the song. The song is about all the things this person can get her to do but she finds this person’s picture that makes her think about that person and Joan Jett asks Are you lonely because she is and wonders if he feels the same way about her the same way she feels about him. The song as I am is another great ballad only someone with her talent could bring those feelings and emotions out of the listeners as I am is a song on Joan Jett’s album pure and simple. One of the first songs Joan Jett ever wrote is you drive me willd while she was with The Runways. Joan Jett is one of a kind with a lot of love in her heart! She also is a huge support of the military which is another reason I love her. Professional wrestlers were never seen together when they were having a program against each other. When Bret and Owen Hart were having their feud with each other they flew on separate planes and ate at different restaurants. One day Bret and Owen met each other when they were having their program and the lady who worked for airport saw Bret and Owen asked Bret if they were friends Owen looked at Bret and they both started laughing and the lady said I knew I knew you were friends. This is an observation as a wrestling fan many people treat or think of professional wrestlers as actors just like playing a part in a movie or a TV show I do not feel this way yes professional wrestlers are playing a part but here is a big difference part of what makes professional wrestling a different and unique art form then acting are the most successful professional wrestlers are extensions of their own personalitys for example: when Nature Boy Ric Flair would cut a promo he would be talking much louder or more obnoxious then he would in person meaning it is like a light that comes on and when the light goes off so does that persona. This is another example that distinguishes professional wrestling from any other form of entertainment the fans do not see professional wrestlers as actors like the actors playing a part in a movie or TV show an example of what makes this different from any other form of entertainment a woman has a miscarriage in professional wrestling and a writer or a booker says well they do it on Dallas but fans do not see professional wrestling as that kind of acting yes fans may see professional wrestling as pre-determined or whatever but they still see it differently than acting even though fans have to suspend their disbelef but on the same level professional wrestling has to have an element of logic. In professional wrestling people have to believe in what they are watching just enough so they will buy tickets or will watch it on TV. Jeff Jarrett the founder of TNA Wrestling is coming back for the 13th anniversary event TNA Slammiversary I love this guy and seeing this guy come back to TNA I can not explain the emotions I have one word for it cool. The reason TNA means so much to is the history of TNA and that history means so much to me I do not want that history to be lost like so much wrestling history in my opinion has been lost or perverted mostly perverted. I enjoy listening to music through a radio or boom box alternative rock sounds amazing through a radio or boom box I know many people will say there is no difference between listening to music on the computer or the internet but to me I hear it easier more clearly and there is nothing better than listening to music on the speakers cranked. I love podcasts on the internet I love radio and even talk radio I think it causes people to think at least that is what listening to talk radio does for me. I prefer listening to radio on radio and not on the internet. Alright back in the day and if people want to know how professional wrestling has changed before I guess it turned into sports entertainment the professional wrestlers were known as gimmicks they had differences to distinguish themselves from the pack an example is if a guy was from Texas they wore a cowboy hat and used a bulldog headlock but that is as simple as they kept it. The wrestlers were not chracters they were chracters without being given chracters or being told by a booker who their chracters were by the booker. A gimmick that has and this is a key word longevity professional wrestlers have put some of their own personal characterisics into whatever they are doing examples are: Nature Boy Ric Flair Stone Cold Steve Asutin before Steve Astuin came up with the moniker of Stone Cold he was a struggling but talented professional wrestler it was not until Vince Mcmahon let Steve Astuin in the WWE be himself and let him drink beer and wear leather vests and give people the middle finger that is when fans started to notice when Steve Astuin began with the WWE he was a bad guy but fans started to cheer him and he became a good guy the reason I think Stone Cold Steve Astuin connected so well is fans saw themselves in Stone Cold and could relate to him and this is the main reason Steve Astuin in the WWE connected with fans there is not much difference between Stone Cold and the real life person Steve Astuin. If a booker wants to make money and have talents with longevity they have to make fans believe and forget what they are watching is make believe. It sounds like a very simple formula but to tell the truth I am sure many fans think wrestling is made to complicated I think it can be over thought I am one of those people who thinks wrestling should be simple and easy to follow that is why the UFC is so successful because it is easy to follow I think as a fan people should be able to turn on raw after not watching for a few weeks and be able to follow what they are watching. It can be easily over thought. I have to mark this date down Sunday June 28th 2015 TNA’s 13 year anniversary Jeff Jarrett returns to TNA for the King of the Moutain match! As a TNA mark from the very beginning I could not be prouder as a fan for 13 years this is a very emotional time for me one part of me that is so proud and excited and full of uncertainity for a brand and an era and a company and people that I love no matter what happens I hope the very best for TNA but whatever happens no one can take away my memories and emotions that I feel connected. People do not understand the real emotions that wrestling brings out of fans! The manipulation of real genuine emotion and just human nature in general is what professional wrestling is all about. One of the negative aspects of pro wrestling your talent can be based on one or two people’s opinions of you not on just a person’s talent. My favorite pro wrestler Tommy Dreamer said that and that’s true I think this is one of the reasons UFC is popular. Like I said before there have been so many excellent talents that have not been pushed to their full potential I think it is easier as a fan we see things that the promoters do not see it all really depends on what the promoters are looking. Many people see depression as a weakness I am here to tell people depression is very very real and it takes a lot of strength to ask for help people who say they never get depressed are ether prefect or they are lying to you. Yes some people suffer from depression worse than others it affects people in different ways. Many people fill their lives with religion and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that is what I try to fill my life with and many people do that as well. I know that is the only way to fill the emptiness but for some people and this will bother some people sometimes that is still not enough to fill that void! I know that sounds horrible but I am speaking from my heart. Life is hard I do not know how people make it through life expect by faith. Notes: Jim Ross interviews Mike Tenay Ross Report part 1 July 1 2015. JR now the fans nothing is a secret seemly fans like to highjack shows and like to shout out information so the attention is drawn on them and instead of the attention being drawn on the ring where it should be and there will be some fans who are listening will say so what youre saying JR if I buy a ticket then I should not be able to express myself I am not saying that what I am saying is your level of chants can be distracting Mike says it has always been that fine line Danny Hodge and Billy Robinson the thing about guys like you and I we wanted to learn JR talks about the Hall of Heroes with Danny Hodge with Mike Tenay JR talks about When Worlds Collide 1994. Mike Tenay works with Chris Cruise Mike Tenay receives a phone call from JR about When World’s Collide you said weeks leading up to When Worlds Collide to say I’m available you said if you would like to chat prior to that I’m available the people listening to this this would be like a rookie baseball announcer receiving a phone call from Vinny Scklly or Bob Costas about preparation for that first ball game it is one of those things that I will never forget the ability of you Jim to go out of your way to try and give Chris and myself pointers and the things that we needed. Mike about JR on July 1 2015. You had a great game to call JR about Eddie Guerro and Art Barr Octagon and El Hijo del Santo we had a hell of a product to call. Mike about broadcasting When World’s Colide JR talks to Mike about the thing you also used to do that I used to enjoy was your radio show Mike Tenay was the first to ever to do a national wrestling radio show one night in the casino one of the guys came in that was holding down the midnight shift said I am having a hell of a time getting guests would you come in and be a guest it’s 12 midnight night specfic time would you mind coming in and be a guest and then we talked about the upcoming sports and the like then the host asks Mike to talk about if he did not mind to talk about when he was a kid to talk all of the things he did with wrestling then about two hours in the phone lines lit it is people they want to talk about wrestling and then started doing a wrestling radio show the following Saturday. That is how the darn thing started a crazy one night appearance in 1991. Mike did the radio show 6 to 7 years and JR was a guest he sure was and people think doing a wrestling radio show don’t you have to deal with a lot of crank calls we only had to deal with maybe one or two crank phone calls but people just loved the program. This was before the internet so there was not a lot of places with this kind of Imformation unless you were reading a wrestling newsletter and not many people were. Led Zeppelin change the perception of what rock’n roll could be with the energy and intensity my point they took the shot and most of life is wondering what if? Take the shot! Lee Aaron sweet talk this song Lee’s voice just sounds sexual. A favorite of mine on Lee’s album body rock I know if I talk about female rock chicks I have to mention Lee Aaron from Canada reminds me of Shania Twain if Shania was a rocker. Lee has more of an edge I guess the best thing I can say about Lee Aaron is she is The Metal Queen! TBS Superstation is a very important time for professional wrestling. Many people worked in the Tunner Tower in Altanta Geogia individuals who worked in the South Tower in Altanta Geogia were: Jim Ross and Tony Schivavone TBS Superstation was an extremely special time but unfortunately TBS Superstation never really knew what they had but fans of that time never forgot those memories. It is one of the reasons I will always be a wrestling fan. Fiona Flanagan hearts of fire from the movie soundtract hearts of fire I know you’re never gonna leave me who would? A cool Irsh chick what is not to like? I do not know about the movie this movie had Bob Dylan in it and Fiona I give Bob Dylan a pass because he was in this movie. An amazing song and she is great I am trying to think about the best way to talk about her I mean she was one of the best. I guess the best way to summarize this so the memories burn in these hearts of fire! Did I mention I’m never going to leave her? When I use the term chick I do not mean the word to be a derogatory term I use it to show appreciation so I am showing them some love. Fiona Flanagan hang you’re on me another classic by Fiona. She’s still got it! Some parents and many people believe the song Don’t Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult was about suicide and encouraged people to die together the song was actually about not fearing death and accepting death as an inevititabillity. I mentioned Don’t Fear the Reaper and the band Blue Oyster Cult to someone they did not know what I was talking about until I said something about the Saturday Night Live sketch with Christopher Wallken about how the song needed more cowbell that person knew right away what I was talking I thought that was pretty cool. For me personally in my life music and listening to music has helped me in ways that other things in my life has not music has helped me feel better and has really been a gift in my life no heavy metal or rock music is not the problem I know there are people who would like to blame something for all of society’s problems and heavy metal and rock’n roll is an easy target but this type of music influences me in a positive way and does so for many others. I am thankful to God that he gave me the gift of music I really do not know what I would do without music. Heavy metal and rock’n roll may effect certain people in a negative way but so can rap music but I do not want it to be banned. I like the idea that album have warning stickers on them so parents can make better more informed decisions on what is apporiate for their children I just wish the government did not have to get involved. Robin Beck an amazing female rocker she is known for the ballad the very first time a beautiful song with a ton of passion. Robin Beck’s debut album trouble or nothing 1989 she has a grittiness a senuality to her. That all depends on what you do tonight is on her album the great escape a fun hard rockin song with guitar player/musician James Christan she is a pro! Robin Beck just like so many female rockers have so much depth to them Joan Jett comes to mind immediately for being able to have amazing rock songs and having gorgeous ballads/love songs female rockers in my opinion have so many layers to them it is difficult for me to find the right words to show my appreciation for them. That is the best complement I can give them they have so much more than their male counterpoints do. I think I could be wrong but I think it is that show of compassion that comes from within that male rockers do not have but female rockers also have a toughness as well. All of those emtions anger, sadness, confusion I think that is what female rockers are able to convey that male rockers are not able to convey as well when I think about it male rockers are said to be as either hard or soft I think it is the reason I hear the word sissy rock it is not fair I know but male rockers are not supposed to show the complexes everyone has as a human being. It is a lot like when people see females and they say girls can not rock and then once they are able to show that they can them show their toughness as well as all of the other complexes female rockers bring to their music. I know this is deep so I guess in short the best way to illustrate my point despite what we have been told by society there is a huge difference between a man and a woman! I am a very emotional person but I have been conditioned as a male not to express my emotions and I am not talking about crying at the drop of a hat but I seem to keep all of my emotions inside which is not good because they seem to burst out of me all at once it much like faking happiness I am a big believer in faking happiness for the benfit of other people. It can be diffcult and it took me a long time to figure this out but faking happiness is extremely important because I do not want to bring other people down and the truth is most people do not care if other people are happy what matters to most people is how people act. Fiona Flangan squeeze I know I keep mentioning her but this is my project so I get to do it there is nothing like 1980s hard rock this song has everything in my opinion that is great about 1980s hard rock gritness sexuality Fiona’s signature raspy voice an awesome guitar riff drums and a vulnerability a you’re going to give into me attiude that I love and a hard and heavy song as Doro Pesch would say stay hard and heavy and this song is hard and heavy. Squeeze was released in 1992 but is still one of Fiona’s best! Fiona’s squeeze this song is what I think of when I think about why I love heavy metal. Your precious heart will give in I think the best way for me to summarize how I feel about this song and album I feel bad for liking it! Johnny are you queer by Josie Cotton this song would not pass the smell test nowadays that is for sure and this song was controversial back in the day the song came about when the guitarist for the all female group The GO-GOs Jane Wiedlin said that all the cute boys in LA were gay. The GO-GOS were presented with the song Johnny are you queer the song could have been written by The GO-GOS I am not sure but the song was given to Josie Cotton and she became a one hit wonder the song made homophobes mad gay people mad I could not imagine how this song would have been received today. When I think about sleeping with the enemy people say the movie? I immediately think about the song sleeping with enemy by Robin Beck. Bands would release their power rock track and then you would follow up with a power ballad Bret Micheals had a strapper girlfriend that he did not think was going to cheat on him and she broke his heart: The story of the power ballad every rose has it’s thorn by Posion I was always pushing for bands to do a power ballad because a lot of girls like to hear power ballads and if bands wanted to get girls to like their music they needed to write power ballads 90% of the fans in the audience that went to the shows were girls. The bands had groupies. I mentoned this earlier but it is an important point and is something worth repeating and is something I think people have to learn it is not something that most people are born knowing how to do and that is I have learned that most of life is acting as if acting as if you are happy acting as if you are successful thinking how would someone who feels good about themselves would act. The late 1960s gave rise to Heavy Metal which is hard for me to understand because the 60s were all about free love and peace Crosby Stills and Nash and The Mamas and The Pappas it may have been a rebellion to the peace and love and Wookstock Deep Purple and that kind of music was what a group of people were looking Deep Purple had the edge and attiude that this group of people were gravitating towards but they did not know what it was. That all came from the British invasion created what was to be a very loud guitar sound that got more distorted bands such as: Black Sabbath and Led Zepplin At a cetain age people are looking for any form of expressionism heavy metal was for outsiders the alienated how would you describe the perfect metal rhythem? The rhthem of metal is a riff. The reason people enjoy metal are the riffs make you go crazy! Before they called Glam Metal or Hair Metal it was known as “Teeth Metal’ these bands smile Van Halen created that. Van Halen turned metal into a party and invited girls to come along. Deaf Leppard was marketed as pretty boys from England Deaf Leppard crossed over to pop. Albums that had a warning sticker made so called disgruntled kids buy the allumbs Van Halen’s jump rekindled a question as older as metal itself does the keyboard belong in heavy music? I know when I tell people that when Van Halen released jump that was seen as a betrayal by so called Van Halen purest they do not understand why. Jethro Tull wins the first metal award I like Jethro Tull but that is not metal! Guns N Roses had enough street wise attuide and enough glam that the girls would like they covered all the bases without realizing it. You’ll always sing the riff of a heavy metal song once you hear the riff of a heavy metal song you’re transported your there. This riff would take your head off! There are certain songs certain types of music you have to play cranked at a volume or you will not get the full experience I have said this many time and the reason I keep repeating this point is it is important heavy metal is not about nosie it is an attiude! The connection with the audience that special relationship that what makes metal fans different. Metal fans are loyal just like anything cool! In conclusion I need hard rock it is a need for me in my life my friends it is an obsession. Guns N Roses don’t cry music video with Axl’s girlfriend at the time Stephanie Seymour. Led Zepplin Going to Calfornia this song is one of the forgotten Zepplin songs but one of my favorites the song just has so many emotions to it. Made up mind make a new start going to California with an aching in my heart someone told me there is a girl out there with love in eyes and flowers in her hair what emotions that went into that song beautiful! Grand Funk Raillroad is Homer Simpon’s favorite band. Which is in an espiode of The Simpions titled Homerpalogza. My favorite song by: Grand Funk is shinin’ on this is a rocking song with all the great elements of rock! Sweet Sweet Connie was doing her act she had the whole show and that’s a natural fact lyrics from Grand Funk Raillroad We’re An American Band there is a Sweet Connie she is a world famous groupie Connie Hamzy from Little Rock Arkansas a groupie to me is a girl who loves the music of a musician or a band that travels to come see them. Sweet Connie is to me and many more people the most famous. Doro Pesch fall for me again album true at heart I love Doro and this song is a gorgeous power ballad I will never look back on what might have been. Robin Beck I will love you now another great ballad by Robin Beck! I will love you now is on Robin’s album human instinct Fiona Flanagan where the cowboys go another amazing song from Fiona’s album heart like a gun Fiona looks amazing in a western outfit. When I was a kid what was expected of you go to school you gratitude you have a couple of kids and then you die that is not very much fun you want to know what I want to do I want to Rock’n Roll all night and party everyday Sebatian Bach In some sick way the PMRC was the best thing to happened to Heavy Metal because of the PMRC it made it cooler hipper. Rainbow Airel Ritchie Blackmore on guitar Ritchie Blackmore was the guitarist for Deep Purple and he worked in the band Rainbow with lead singer Doogie White which is my favorite verison of the song Airel. Deep Purple should be in the Rock’n Roll Hall Of Fame Deep Purple was one of the reasons for Heavy Metal. Heavy Metal would not be what it is without the early influence of Deep Purple. Ritchie Blackmore formed Blackmore’s Night with lead singer Candice Night and Ritchie Blackmore on guitar Ritchie Blackmore has always been into the medieval Candice Night reminds me of Stevie Nicks. I do not know if I have talked about this musican Chrissy Steele from British Colmbia she took over as the lead singer of The Headpines from Darby Mills when Darby went solo she worked with guitarist Brain Too Loud MacLeod who was the guitar player for the hard rock band from Canada The Headpines who worked with Chrissy Steele on her debut album Magnet To Steel in 1991. With an amazing hard rock song called love you till it hurts and a beautiful ballad called love don’t last forever which is a hard rocking song with a ton of emotion and passion which unfortunately was guitarist Brain Too Loud Macleod last album before he passed away which to me makes the album extremely special to me because Brain was an original member of The Headpines with Darby Mills and was an amazing guitar player who was able to work with two amazing musicans Darby Mills and Chrissy Steele. The only song I have heard on the radio by Chrissy Steele is you should be mine did not make it on the album Magnet to Steele. One of my main goals is to find inspiration and to not let that go. I am looking to better msyself always. Ted Nugent little miss dangerous from Miami Vice espiode little miss dangerous with Fiona Flanagan Fiona plays little miss dangerous Saraya get U ready from the album Saraya Saraya may have only had two albums but they were both excellent Saraya 1989 and When The Blackbird Sngs 1991 Thanks, Sandi! Rocket Queen my favorite hard rock Gun N’ Roses song from the album Appetite for Destruction Axl and Slash may not get along but in my opinion they both probably brought the best and worst out of each other but in my opinion could have been the biggest band in the world if they had stayed together. Guns’N Roses could have bigger than Van Halen. These are references for me in case one day I need them: for example Bruce Springsteen is known as the boss. Vixen the all female group was known as those bitches in tight britches. Then and this made Tipper Gore mad I should mentioned this band the band was known as Bitch with front woman Besty Weiss their first album Be My Slave 1983 and the song be my slave and this is the song that sent MS. Gore over the edge leatherbound which she said glorified rape I don’t get it. Bitch created a new forum of heavy metal called dominatrx metal Tipper Gore cited the album Be My Slave as being against violent and sexually explicit content I still do not understand how this album glorifes rape. The last time I checked a dominatrx is a female. It really seems like it is about leather and a woman who dominates her man. Good Times! The reason I am mentioning this song I like it. I think this is important because it has to do with censorship and free speech. I have to thank Dee Snider for defending heavy metal and displaing that heavy metal is not a bad thing. Who knew Joan Jett could rap about wearing black leather that is a talent. The possibillities are endless! When The Doors were first being introduced I am going to call the guy interviewing the interview guy this how it went down: Robbie Kriger 22 years old interview guy occupation Robbie Kriger guitar interview guy name John Densmore 23 percussion name Raymond Daniel Manzarek interview guy age Ray Manzarek born 2-12-39 occupation musican organist interview guy name Jim occupation Jim gives a magical look and his eyes light up as if to say the possibillities are endless. What is needed for any heavy metal song a riff and a good drum beat and then you got it! It all has to do with the riff. Even in Anglefish’s suffocate me that song had to have that hook that transports you are there. I have alright mentioned the music video for suffocate me and why it is important because without it the band Garbage would never have found their front woman. I love the quiet intensity to Shairley Mansion’s voice very few that I know of have that quiet intensity and I like in suffocate me that the guitar riff is laid out there. Tori Amos Meredith Brooks you can really hear the quiet intensity or lull in Merdeith’s voice in her song what would happen that is quiet but has an intensity to it without screaming my point is her voice is intense and Fiona Apple come to mind. Shairley has just such a haunting presents a darkness in front of the camera that I can not describe MTV only played suffocate me once at 2oclock in the morning. Stevie Richards wore a Van Halen T –shirts and a Winger T-shirts that was awesome! Stevie Richards is such an underated wrestler a hybrid of so many different styles of professional wrestling and he looked cool doing it. Dancing Stevie Richards and Kip Winger are excellent! Stevie Richards is one of those amazing in ring workers that I am talking. I heard Reb Beach the guitar player for Winger is working on a Whitesnake album in some capacity Reb Beach is a tremendous guitar player whatever he does it gonna be good. Speaking of one of a kind guitar players I do not want to forget to mention one of my favorite guitar players George Lynch from Dokken and then he formed his own band the Lynch Mob. Go back and listen to breaking the chains go back and listen to heaven sent it is all ready an amazing song but George Lynch is unbelievable. Heaven sent is on the Back For the Attack album from 1987. Then Breaking The Chains is on the Breaking The Chains album from 1983. James Christian the lead singer of House Of Lords is a one of a kind guitar player I think he played guitar or worked with Fiona Flanagan I am not sure I think he has he is an amazing guitar player well I know one thing he does sing and play guitar with Robin Beck. I just want to give him his due and if I have done that I am satisfied. Lee Aaron’s album some girls do I really enjoy this allumb it has some really good tunes. Lee Aaron I have mentioned her before the music is a little hard to find but this is a pretty up beat and fun album which is what enjoy the most the music is fun! Towards the end of the song some girls do Lee raps. She has a lot of songs I enjoy but I enjoy her album some girls do the most. As long as I am giving everyone the proper recognition I am satisfied. How many of you people have been trying all your life for something and an’t hapenin yet yeah I know what ya mean man if things get go just a bit too bad just remember one thing easy come easy go! Winger live intro to easy come easy go that is great advice. I am going to talk about or pay trbute to radio hosts that influenced me. John Bad Dog Mccormack I will admit to not listening to Bad Dog until Rock 103 moved Bad Dog to the afternoons with Tim Spencer and I listened to Danni Bruns on 981 The Max so when I found out that Bad Dog was going to start in the afternoons with Tim Spencer I would go back and forth listening to Danni and Tim and Bad Dog in the afternoons. Many people in Memphis talked about how funny Bad Dog was so when he was moved to the afternoons on Rock 103 I wanted to see what other people were talking about so I checked it out. It did not take a long time for me to figure out why Bad Dog was so loved Bad Dog’s infectious laugh hooked me right from the start. Bad Dog’s laugh made me laugh. Tim Spencer put together a Twlight Phone The Best of Bad Dog on Itunes. A twilight phone was Bad Dog playing pranks or prank phone calls. It might be called crank phone calls not sure. So I got to listen to the morning show on Rock 103 called Tim Bev and Bad Dog which was extremely funny. I had no idea that Tim Bev and Bad Dog did the Ronald McDonald radio thon for twenty years which is very cool. I enjoyed many of the twilight phones and to realize Bad Dog could not do prank phone calls anymore. I really enjoyed listening to the Jack Nicholson prank call or harassing which is not something I agree I think it is wrong to do what they did but Jack handled it very well. They had the right number. Chris Jarman of 981 The Max said that Bad Dog was an influence for him getting into radio. People in Memphis loved Bad Dog he had that connection that I think everyone wants who get into radio. Bruce Spristeen’s intro: when he peforms light of day live: “I can’t offer you enternal but I can offer you enternal life right now. Kip Winger is my favorite. Easy come easy go means has fast as something came it can go even quicker that is a good lesson. I had not. I found a verision of Brother Louis Louie Louie I have always hated this song but Darby made this song into almost I would say blues sound or blues influenced wonderful which I am surprised not by Darby’s talent but by the fact I hate the song. I found this on youtube Jeff Neil ft. Darby Mills Brother Louis Now I may get back to what I could talk about. Side Note: Lita Ford’s signature guitar Black Widow Warlock How cool is that? Axl Rose and Slash have reconciled I think Axl needs Slash not the other way around. I think Axl Rose when he is on he is one of the best front men ever. I just do not think Axl has been the same since their falling out. There has been much time gone by and I am glad to hear that Axl and Slash have reconciled. I think Gun N Roses could have been the biggest band if they had stayed together. I hope Axl and Slash can reunite with the original members of Guns’N and Roses very exciting time! Is there a Hot Cherrie in the song by Danny Spanos and covered by the heavy metal band Hardline? I know there is a Sharona in The Knanck’s My Sharona there have been rumors about this song on what this song is about My Sharona is about a girl named Sharona Alperin. Doug Fieger the lead singer of The Knack wrote My Sharona when he was 25 years old but the song was written from the perspective of a 14 year old boy Doug says it is just an honest song from a 14 year old boy. There is a Sweet Sweet Connie in We’re An American Band by Grand Funk Raillroad Connie Hamzy. Well I hope there is a Hot Cherrie out there because that girl in the hardline video for Hot Cherie is hot! Rebel has got to be my favorite TNA Knockout amazing legs and I am glad that she joined the Dollhouse Marti Bell Jade and Taryn Terell she’s got that edge to her. Love you Rebel! Tori Amos has a quiet intensity to her voice which makes her unique with Tori’s signature pinao which she says she has to figure out how the pinao feels and the pinao dictates how or what she will play. The quiet intensity that Tori has is the combination and the questioning in her music and songs she is not afraid to question religion and being honest whether I agree with the topics or subject matter Tori is not unwilling to go deep within her soul and slice open and to dig deep and to talk rape which are topics that are difficult topics and things that are not easy to talk about. Tori says music has been a great healer in her life and it shows. Tori is hated by the Catholic Church because of the songs crucfiiy and god. I do not feel her music or anything she has talked about is sacrilegious or anti religion I do find her music to be extremely spiritual her music connects with something deep in my soul which to me makes her a bad ass. Many of Tori’s songs in my opinion come from a place of love and choosing what to do with her confussion. Next up The Boss Bruce Springsteen the cool thing about a cat like Bruce is here’s an unhappy guy or a guy that burries himself into his lyrics and music Bruce is a mess deep in his soul and I do not mean that has a bad thing Bruce is a guy who uses his music to combat whatever he is going throught at different times in his life. Wheather it is been young and confused in born to run or a guy who is going throught a divorce and being disappointed looking into the mirror and not liking or not recongnizing the person you are and most importantly not knowing how you became the person you are and how are you going to change? That is all in Bruce’s song one step up this song Bruce is beating himself up about going through his divorce but still loves his ex wife. Bruce goes into a bar and talks about how last night he dreamed about holding her in his arms and how they danced and how the music was never ending we danced as evening faded to black but as Bruce is sitting in this bar he notices a girl across from him and I think he is thinking about her or he is thinking about his wife he is thinking about the girl at this bar ether way he is going throught a conflict within himself he is looking at this girl in this bar and she looks back and him and Bruce is thinking this girl an’t looking to married but I’m prentending to be but the point is Bruce is really thinking he is really thinking how the hell am I going to get through this my heart is broken and I still love my ex wife but I am such a bad person a person I do not recognize the person I am and how am I going to become the person I want to be. Bruce is thinking when he is in this bar I keep getting myself in these patterns I keep doing or making the exact same miskates over and over again with my ex wife or just me as an individual Bruce is thinking I think I am improving myself and I am thinking I am becoming a better man but than I go right back to the person I do not want to be. I can relate to that I think most can with lyrics such has: same sad story same old act somehow I slipped over track. That is the main theme I think in one step up it is about a guy who spent the night alone and he wakes up the house is cold the car is not working just everything is falling apart in his life and he is not really sure how he got there. Bruce seems to be blaming himself for the divorce he really beats himself up in this song it is really something. Most people I know they really do not like to take blame but Bruce is taking it all. It is a very sad song but at the same time is a beatuful song it reminds me of what Bret Micheals said it sucks to get your heart broken but it creates some of the best music. I hope Bruce has become or keeps trying to be the person he wants to be I hope everyone is trying to improve themselves in same way. In the meantime to quote The Metal Queen Of The World Doro Pesch “Stay “hard and “heavy”! Free my heart I love the heaviness the darkness of free my heart free my heart also has a kindness to it. Love me till I will die very hot! A dark and haunting ballad extremely heavy. Doro brings a hauntness I am not sure if that’s a word. Joan Jett I can’t control myself come on the beat in this song is unreal wonderful drum beat the cowbell the unappreciated cowbell this song has it A gritness and sweetness to it at the same time. The cowbell and drum go together it makes this song what it is. Joan asks at the end of the song you want me to do it again? She got gum she’s in black and in jeans and MS. Jett is felling it every bit of it the thing I can say about Joan Jett she is not fake she is very real I can’t take it she is just a bad ass! The beat is it it’s got a dance beat to it makes me wanna get up and dance and rock I want to lose my mind. This is just keeps better I gotta rock. Rebel’s got the cowgirl boots the jeans very western and cowgirlish. Rebel’s got that stair and she drops the flying split leg drop and Rebel’s got that wink to her it is just really good. I remember I saw Rebel last year the first time I had ever seen her she was Knox’s girlfriend she is just really really good I just really believe the sky is the limit for Rebel. She’s got that IT Factor. Bobby Roode in my opinion is such a wonderful technician a powerhouse and one of the great chain wrestlers I have seen William Regal is the best chain wrestler I have seen Regal’s in ring psychology his abillty to tell a story in ring is one of a kind. Bryan Danielson worked with William Regal at the WWE Performance Center I can tell Bryan has worked with Regal because his chain wrestling is really specutacular. We learned more from those three mintute records then we ever did in school lyrics from Bruce Springsteen no surrender that is so true! Fiona he’s on my side album beyond the pale. I come from a place where rock’n roll means something more than music more than fashion more than a good pose it’s the language sub culture that has made internal teenagers of all who follow it. It’s a sub culture of integrity rebellion frustration alienation and the glue that several generations free of unnatural societal and self suppression. Rock’N roll is political it is meaningful way to express descent upset the status quo stir up revolution and fight for human rights. Do you think I’m making it sound more important and more serious than it is? It’s only rock’n roll right? Rock’N Roll is an idea and an ideal. Sometimes because we love the music and we make the music we forget the political impact it has on people around the world. There are pussy riots wherever there is political agitation we become so condition with dollar signs we forget what it’s all about self expression emotion. Joan Jett Rock’N Roll Hall Of Fame Speech 2015: I hope I got all of that it’s excellent stuff right there. Rock’N Roll is an ideal that is very true very well said MS. Jett I could tell she meant every word her speech was real and from the heart. That to me is punk rock right there those words it’s all punk! God bless ya Joan Jett! You’re the spell I’m under lyrics from the spell I’m under by Winger. Lita Ford Lisa heartfelt song and ballad tribute to Lita’s mom extremely kind. Lita Ford don’t let me down tonight. I love this ballad at the same time this song’s sound is crisp and clear a good drum beat and a guitar that has a blues rhythem to it that is very cool but not over bearing I will say in some of these songs or really just the ballads the guitar riff is just too much but this has a ton of heart to it. Lita is able to show her kindness and heaviness and by that I mean music in the same song. I am really a guy with a light heart. People say its only rock’n roll not to me it means something just like anything else. Lita is able to show love from her heart and the rock side the I’m angier then hell side and the sweet side I hope you got all that. That is the best way I to describe her music. I could be wrong this is just my listening ear I sense some blues influence in Lita’s voice in don’t let me down tonight it could be just the heaviness in Lita’s voice not really sure but I had to go back and listen again. Don’t let me down tonight is on Dancing On The Edge released in 1984. Also worth checking out gotta let go which is also on Dancing On The Edge. The Red Rocker Sammy Hagar’s song heavy metal which was on the heavy metal movie soundtrack Sammy says this is one of the songs he loves to play live and I know why this song talks about all of the great stuff about heavy metal man to me it’s a way of life! In the song Sammy talks about how at the shows they have up front fanatics tearing down the barricade 50 thousand wits of power and it can’t hold this shit down! It’s your one way ticket to midnight call it heavy metal nosie. In heavy metal Sammy sings about headbangers in leather and the hot chicks that hold a bone against boys. This song encompasses what heavy metal is all about in my opinion fun times and a ton of energy. Heavy metal the song is on the soundtrack to heavy metal that came out in 1981! Sammy’s got his crimison intensity! He’s a bad motor scooter. Come on man I gotta talk about rock candy by Montrose this was Sammy first band named after the late great Ronnie Montrose. Rock candy has a nasty drum beat I love because there are some girls I have wanted to say to them you’re rock candy baby hard sweet sticky! I mean that has a complement I am a strange cat I know but I mean well! I love the guitar in this song reminds me of Led Zeppelin at a certain time. I love this song Sammy says he wanted to rock hard and its shows I am here to say I am not really a fan of Van Hagar when he took over Van Halen but Cobo Wabo is one of my favorites just has a summer feel to it a beach feel to it I love it! Sammy Hagar has a hard rocking song red I love the drum beat the keybord everything! Heavy Metal and Rock Candy it has a very heavy feel to it that was probably was an early influence for early heavy metal the distorted guitar sound that Black Sabbath Led Zepplin and Deep Purple etc created. The drum was also distorted and has a sexuality to it. Robert Plant was the first front man to have that high pitched voice even though when Jimmy Page found Robert Planet he was 19 years old howling the blues. Jimmy Page had a distorted guitar sound and intensity which combined with Robert Planet’s high pitched voice rooted in the blues and Jimmy Page’s guitar influences from around the world with a distorted sound played with the most intensity and played lounder than any fan of rock’n roll had heard. Tony Iommi the guitar player for Black Sabbath created a distorted guitar sound by accident he was working in a factory and lost the tips of his fingers and he learned how to play his own style which before was a jazz and blues sound. Tony says because of that accident and the distorted nature of it created heavy metal. At the time that sound that type of playing with his guitar with Tony’s fingers that was a sign of the devil by some. Jimmy page’s blues influence can be heard in songs such as: Dazed and Confused and The Lemon Song. Love makes you blind by Fiona from the movie soundtrack No Small Affair I love this song the passion in Fiona’s voice the you hurt me my heart is broken but a sweet song she’s got me sad for her this song breaks my heart. Fiona’s passion and emotion is what does it I can hear the pain in her voice. The movie No Small Affair starts John Cryer and Demi Moore. Joan Jett CO wrote or wrote cherry bomb and she didn’t stop there and that was the ultimate jail bait anthem and then fetish Joan Jett cheated she wore leather that’s not fair! Fetish reminds of me well it is a punk rock song and it has all of the elements of punk Joan is punk but the point is the song reminds me of Iggy Pop’s I wanna be your dog. Which is punk rock in an interview with Howard Stern Iggy explained the sentiment behind this song “Have you ever seen like a really good looking girl, really nicely dressed, and she walking down with her dog right? And like her is… intimate with her body and she likes him and everything. Basically, it’s the idea of I want to unite with your body. I don’t wanna talk about literature with you I wanna dog you.” From songfacts on The Stooges I wanna be your dog. This track is well known for its three chord riff and continuously repeated single piano note, played by Velvet Underground founding member John Cale, who also produced the track. These elements, along with the heavy distorted sound, has lead critics to consider the track an early example of Heavy Metal and Punk music. From songfacts I had an idea that this song was an early influence for punk and heavy metal. Joan Jett’s song fetish in my opinion took punk to a whole new level she sings it’s time to be my dog I think she’s referencing I wanna to be dog. Fetish is really really good it is on Joan Jett’s Sinner album The guitar on this song is sick Joan Jett is playing guitar on this song this riff on this song it’s loud it’s intense it’sexual all that good stuff! Fetish is a lot like when people first heard a song like born to be willd by Steppenwolf in 1969 not only is this song a motorcycle anthem it was used in the movie Easy Rider it is the first time the term heavy metal was used in a song heavy metal thunder. I am sure people in 1969 had never heard the term heavy metal and most parents probably thought this is a moral the world is about to end. I wonder what parents were thinking when they first heard Led Zeeplin? You wanna to talk about a sexual riff whole lotta love that is it. Joan Jett and The Runaways made history with cherry bomb! I would say my favorite Joan Jett song is fetish for a really good punk nasty song and for ballads I would say ashes in the wind lie to me wait for me. One more thing about the song fetish by Joan Jett fetish has the wip the glorious wip sound. Fiona casual thing Robin Beck album trouble or nothing this has to be one of my favorites album this whole album in my opinion all these songs are good they are special to me. All I can say is this Robin rocks! Trouble or nothing is a masterpiece. Robin has so much good music out there in my opinion Robin has a cover of the Kiss song hide your heart. Thanks Robin you have some excellent music that means so much to me and that connects with me. Doro bad blood I love the music video Doro is talking about only humanity has the real power I am not sure if I believe that but it is a good thought humanity and the world seems to be getting worse. I really worry about the next generation of people born or not yet born. Nothing in the world seems to make sense anymore all I know is police are not the enemy. Doro is singing about all the problems in the world the wars everything and there are images of different problems in the world. Doro being from Germany has a different prospective than I do or someone who was born in United States and I think she addresses that prospective in this song. Bad blood is on Doro’s album angles never die released in 1992 or 1993. There is some amazing self expression by Doro in the song bad blood this goes back to Joan Jett’s rock’n roll hall of fame speech this year about rock’n roll being poltical and wanting change. I never really thought about rock’n roll that way but I have thought of rock’n roll being a result of alienation I am speaking from my own experience. Fiona featuring Robin Beck this heart album unbroken two of my favorites together this is like Christmas for me! Robin and Fiona I think they have gone on tour together that is a fan’s dream right there! Doro I know you by heart album true at heart this song is just a heartfelt beautiful ballad it is really hard for me to not get emotional listening to this song. I hurt for Doro in I know you by heart that is what music is all about. Fiona I’m in it for love I love the danger in this song your dreams are what matter to me this is what I wish more people would focus on love and dreams. This song to me is just sweet I get the I will do anything for love reference I am not talking about the Meatloaf song I am talking about the care and kindness I get from listening to I’m in it for love. There is no danger in love that is really good to know. I love the drum in this song the drum is what gets to me. I love the fact that she is not in it for the love of a stranger. In the song I’m in it for love your dreams are what matter and the fact that they are sheltered very sad like most people’s dreams are on sheltered unless you have the guts to go it. I love the sweetness to this song the[RA1] I will do anything to make this work attiude very sweet. I’m in it for love is on the hearts of fire soundtrack to the movie hearts of fire. Alright more Fiona living in a boys world. This kind of music such as the power ballads are known as: Melodic Rock I think you will find many references or the term melodic with 80s rock and the early 1990s especially the power ballads which were the softer songs which were how many of these musicians got to the next level by showing their heart which appealed to many females and that was how many records were sold because of the power ballads. Which I am not a shamed to say I love. I really love the album hysteria by Def Leppard one of my favorite Def Leppard songs is the power ballad hysteria. I am sure that song sold a lot of records. I am going to break the word melodic down this is from the dictionary melodic of or relating to melody as distinguished from harmony and rhthem. An example of bands referred to as melodic or what it became known as in the late 1980s melodic metal bands such as Saraya Dokken Poison Winger those types of bands. An example of melodic songs are: alone again by Dokken Poison every rose has its thorn. So much to die for but even more to live a rebel without a cause don’t you crash and burn you’ve got so much to give a rebel without a cause you’ve got so much to say lyrics from ridin’ with James Dean by Joan Jett and The Blackhearts album Up Your Alley There are many songs about James Dean most of those songs in my opinion are horrible ridin’ with James Dean is a wonderful song it makes me want to get on a motorcycle and ride. This song is a wonderful tribute to James Dean. I think it is a love song by Joan Jett to James Dean. The lyrics are heartfelt and just kind of a punk ballad if there is such a thing ridin’ with James Dean is a punk ballad in my opinion. It reminds me of Bikes motorcycles and love. My favorite Doors song has to be wild child released date I have seen 1969 on the B- side of The Doors album touch me. John Densmore the drummer for The Doors said he was glad The Doors performed wild child on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour because the song summed up the 1960s wild child full of grace savior of the human race not your mother’s not your father’s child you’re are child screaming wild John Densmore says that kind of says it for the 60s. When people who were growing up during the time the album school’s out by Alice Cooper came out Alice says the happiest day for a kid is Christmas morning and the last day of school before summer vacation that is what he wanted. Kids driving away from school would say the last day of school they would drive off and go into never never land. That is where I got the term never never never land it is a term I use to describe the feelings and emotions I get from listening to music or drumming to music that high is indescribable I get from listening to podcasts and radio shows. I am going to talk about some great alternative music that I love that means something to me and that inspires me. Some generation X let’s talk about some confusion sadness and life just plain sucks. That was a main theme for much of this type of music. I am not going to talk about Garbage because I have alright talked about how they changed my life and had the biggest impact on me. I have mentioned Fiona Apple I do not have much to say about her but her music did have an impact on me. I have mentioned Merdeith Brooks and the impact her music had on me so I will not talk about her but I just wanted to mention her impact she had on me. Juliana Hatfield a favorite of mine when it comes to alternative rock chicks. She has some really good music when it comes to sadness and just really garage honest music. Juliana has a band called The Juliana Hatfield Three they released an album called become what you are with the song spin the bottle from the movie Reality Bites. I am sure having spin the bottle on the sountrack made Reality Bites that much more of a better movie. I just really enjoy the alternative rock sound of Juillana the I am falling a part aspect of her music I really feel that there was an honesty in this type of music that is not in music anymore. From The Indie Queen Liz Phair her album exile from guyville this album is a work of art and a masterpiece. Liz’s music is all about denial and her voice was sexual. Tori Amos had that I am falling apart type of music. So did Alanis Morrissette with her album jagged little pill that might have been why Alanis wanted to go on tour with Tori. Amy Lee the front woman of Evanesscence said listening to jagged little pill helped her get through some of her teenage years and she also has said Tori Amos is her favorite artist. I have to talk about former MTV VJ now Fox Business host Kennedy she hosted an MTV program called Alternative Nation. Kenndey is a hot in an alternative rock kind of way. I think the only way people are going to get that reference is they either had to have listened to alternative rock music or they would have had to grown up during this time. In Juilana’s song I’m shy a snare drum is used to keep the beat. This song was recored has a demo I think in 1993 about the time Juillana’s album for the birds was released but in 2015 The Juillana Hateflied Three released the album whatever my love with I’m shy on it. The album is available on vinyl I did not know vinyl was still around. I really enjoy Juillana’s music her music has helped me get through some dark times in my life times I did not think I was going to get through. I have to thank Juillana for her music I love ya. I really dig that song sin city by Merdeith Brooks more Medeith Brooks is up next or coming up! I am going to talk more about Medeith’s voice that quiet lull and uniqueness of her voice. I am listening to Merdeith while I am writing this so I can get more of a feel of Merdeith’s voice and her music. This may take a while but I am going to try to break this down. There is a toughness to her voice but also a voulnerbillity and here is what is confusing about Medeith’s voice and her music there is a feeling of shyness but at the same time her music is honest. For example a song such as: sin city from the soundtrack Sin City. Or a song such as: Pollyanne a song that is honest and in the song Pollyanne Merdeith asks who says dark is deep? So there is an honesty there. But at the same time this is just from a listerner prospective this song sounds like someone who wants to suppress their emotions but can not. Who said dark is deep? Merdeith Brooks once said you will find everything you do in life will apply to music and everything in music will appy to you. Robin Beck an’t it just like love I enjoy Robin’s version of this song Robin puts her own emotions into this song. This is a version of Fiona’s song an’t it just like love. In my opinion of year in my opinion the biggest pro wrestling event of the year Bound For Glory Live deep in Wrestling Country Charlotte North Carolina! I never know what the future may hold but for now this will be an event I can’t not wait to see! I am uncertain about TNA’s future and the most vocal WWE fans and the internet in general just like the professional wrestling business can be the best and the worst thing in world. There are a group of fans who think they know something just because they read something on the internet or they read a newsletter. They try to ruin the product for the rest of us! I am not bashing the WWE or their fans I am bashing certain WWE fans who do not like anything that is not their precious WWE. For the fans like me who will not bow to everything WWE we get criticized for it. Rob Van Dam in ECW was known as The Whole F’N Show and Shawn Micheals was known as The Showstoppa in the WWE. Rob Van Dam would say I’m not the showstopper I’m Rob Van Dam I’m The Whole Fucking Show. I think I have mentioned my influences Trey Dawg and JSK Wayne’s World Drake and Zeke many of them. Those influences can not be over stated by me. I think actually I know because of where we are heading as the world goes round it is going to be harder to find inspiration. I can say I am glad that when I was a teenager I am happy that I did not grow up with all the teleology people have today. The song at the beginging of Road Hard is dust down a country road by The Real Deal John Hiatt. Thanks to Adam Carolla for mentioning John Hiait in his book In Fifty Years We’ll All BE Chicks. Some people think that people who ride motorcyles are rebels or whatever I do not ride motorcyles and I am not a rebel but I do not trust the man. The motorcycle for me is all for the girls. Think Lorenzo Lamas in the TV show Renegade. Lorenzo Lamas said if you want to get the girls it is all about the bike. You are nothing without the bike. The last scene of Sons of Anarchy the last song is come join the murder A flock or a group of crows is called a murder. The reason VH1 had a show on VH1 called Woman First is in 1997 women sold more records then men. The Red Rocker Sammy Hagar and The Wabos mas tequila I love this song just a fun party feel lots of enegry hot chicks just a fun song. There are not enough party songs in Rock’n Roll anymore. I really enjoyed seeing Sammy on an episode of The Simpsons. Mas tequila is on the album Red Voodo and is on The Essential Red Collection. There are many things just like The Van Hagar song says be there once you’ll be there twice. That is a little reference to Cabo Wabo the Van Hagar song which many people call Van Halen when The Red Rocker became the front man of Van Halen. Sammy to me is a real cool dude not a rock star. Sammy to me is a guy that lives in the moment. There is only one Red Rocker. Sammy has done so many different things in music some blues some heavy metal and some country. I like that Sammy does what he wants to do but does not take chances. He does what he wants he makes records when most musicans stopped making records Sammy is still making records. I really like vintage cars and so does Sammy. I really appreciate that Sammy will not do a reality show it is so easy to take the money. This is what I think makes Sammy such a cool dude Sammy is always trying to inspire his fans. The Van Hagar song right now has been used in commercials and by politicians. The point is right now is used to inspire people to be better. Sammy says he wants to teach his fans to be happy. I have to say very cool on Sammy’s part. Life is a tough road and the only thing we all have are our dreams. Dreams for a better future in this increasingly cynical world we now live. I will say this in my opinion cynicism is no way to live. A little cynicism I get but to live your life that way all the time it is not going to work. Just a little something I have learned in my life. In the meantime I’m going to keep this show rocking. Let’s do one for road. Right now by Van Hagar is about living in the moment and not waiting around for something to happen it is about going to get it. Whatever it maybe having the courage to improve yourself just having that courage is the hardest step to take. The message of right now is wonderful because nothing is going to just come to people. People have to work hard. I do not look at myself as lucky. I do not want anyone else to think they are luck either. I want for myself and for others to have some girt and resilience. Relience is what is missing from people and society. Resilience I can not overstate how important it is for people to learn how to be resilient. Sammy Hagar winner takes it all the best thing that came out of the Stallone classic about arm wrestling over the top. James Christian who is the lead singer of the 1980s hard rock band The House Of Lords I think his best work has been with Robin Beck and Fiona. James Christian is a great producer guitar player and singer. He reminds me of David Carvadale of Whitesnake the way he sings in House Of Lords. James’s House Of Lords’s stuff sounds completey different than his stuff with Robin Beck. I am thinking when I listen to House Of Lords stuff is that the same dude. Which to me is cool because he is willing to change his style for the different musicans he works. All of it is good. I hope James Christian is reconized for being an amazing record prouducer. There have been many musicans that have also been record producers such as Don Dokken. Ronnie James Dio metal horns which he got from his grandmother his grandmother used to do it. This symbol became iconic with metal fans. In the documentary The Decline of Western Civilzation Part 2 The Metal years you had this lady talk about this symbol how if you turn the symbol a certain way it represents 666 in the book of revlation the devil. These people need to get a grip it like those condescending religious people. Heavy metal came from the roots of old blues. When I was growing up the way I listened to music was by either watching I had three choices MTV VH1 or BET. I did not have CMT. So I loved music videos growing up I still do. I loved VH1 when their slogan was Music First. The very TNA’s World Title Series! There will be people I know that will say I say everything TNA does is the best. I am going to try to be as impartial as possible. I promise this is not me as a TNA Impact Wrestling fan. This will be me just as a fan of professional wrestling. I really enjoy that the most important matches in the series have a time limit. I think that is what is missing in professional wrestling. I know it was cool when ECW in 1995 started having matches that were considered hardcore. Which was not a style like it has become a style. Hardcore in ECW meant that they would let all styles of professional wrestling were able to go to the exterme. Which meant there was no time limit. But I think the time limit in these matches and in professional wrestling give matches and feuds more of a big fight feel and give matches a sense of unrgency. I really think what makes the series unique and different are the groups in brackets. Fans get to see matches that they would not normally see. Which is very cool because fans do not know where the wrestlers will end up. Fans may see matches with an X-Divison wrestler having a match with a TNA knockout or a heavyweight taking on someone from the X-Divison. Or someone who is a Tag Team wrestler will be in singles completion. This series may not be appreciated now because there are fans who will not support anything TNA does. I think looking back fans will say the first TNA World Title Series to crown a new TNA Hevywight Champion will say that series was wall to wall amazing matches that could have gone either way. That is how I feel about The TNA World Title Series all of these matches have been back and forth with all the wrestlers having different styles and styles are what make matches. The different styles in professional wrestling is what at its best makes professional wrestling an art form.I hope I have sold that because it is truly something I believe. I believe in the TNA product. I have my ups and downs as a fan and I wish there was an off season in professional wrestling. I marvel I truly marvel at what these guys and girls do all year round. Not just TNA the WWE and all professional wrestling. I appreciate all the WWE does to take care of their talent. The WWE is a public company which means they have to be more forthcoming on how they take care of their talent. TNA Impact Wrestling is a private company which means they do not put as much information out that the WWE does about their talent. But Dixie Carter The Chairman of TNA Wrestling has said she takes concussions very seriously and the talent’s wellbeing is the most important to her. Very cool I love these guys and girls and I marvel and have the up most respect for them. Their well being is what I care about the most. I hope many things in professional wrestling have changed for the better. I am happy to know that these companies are taking care of their talent. That is what I want and every fan should want that. It is much like ECW when ECW was around many fans did not take note of it. It had its fan base but I know not many people knew that ECW was going revolutionize the professional wrestling business. The reason ECW revolutionized the professional wrestling business was their personas were not characters they looked like real people. I want to tell everyone if professional wrestling had not changed I would have never been a fan of professional wrestling. The NWA/WCW was a really good product. Now this TNA World Title Series becomes like fantasy football which started round robin style. Now in week 3 this series it is picking time. Who will go all the way and the win? The TNA World Title Series. The cool thing about this whole series is any one of these TNA wrestlers has a shot at winning The TNA World Title Series. It has been extremely well done. Things are good. Life is good right now. Having being sick over the past few years and no I was not dying but it makes me appreciate the small things yeah it is alright. I am all dude I’m kind of turning into The Dude from The Big Lebowski. Think about it we are all going to die. Which is not something I or most like to think about. I am not telling people to quit their job and not work my whole thing is just enjoy life meaning enjoy being around your friends and family. Or just enjoy being alone. Being alone can be a big help. Just having your thoughts or listening to the radio just have fun. Being alone can be extremely dangerous because your mind can be your own worst enemy. I know from my own expriences in my life. So just becareful. I try to remember we all are one breath away from not being here. Mick Foley as Dude Love was my favorite of Mick’s gimmicks. Chris Benoit the reason Chris was such an amazing talent is he was a hybrid of so many different professional wrestling styles and he was able to adapt to any style. Now that may not seem to be a big deal but very few professional wrestlers are hybrids that can adapt to any style. Eddie Guerro Dean Malenko Rob Van Dam Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarain etc. are able to do this. One of my favorite times as a professional wrestling fan was having Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerro both as WWE World Champions at the same time. Wrestlemina 20 is my favorite Wrestlemina. One of the most emotional moments for me as a fan was seeing Eddie Guerro and Chris Benoit in the ring together in Madison Square Garden! Now I do not think Chris Benoit should be in The WWE Hall Of Fame but I do not think the WWE or fans of Chris Benoit should forget him. Chris Benoit should be remembered as one of the great technicians in professional wrestling. Chris Benoit’s matches should be studied by fans and aspiring professional wrestlers. The Pretenders Chrissie Hynde’s punk rock influence can be heard on precious. Precious is on The Pretenders debut album The Pretenders. The reason precious is important to me one reason I like the song I think the beat has a distorted guitar sound I think it is a song about love and hate. There is a lot of anger in this song. What I enjoy most about precious is the speed of it precious is a very fast song with many elements thrown together. If a listener does not listen carefully they will miss it. Precious is one of my favorite Pretenders songs. Maybe I should turn in my dude card but I really enjoy pop singer Tiffany. One of my favorite Tiffany songs is you and me. This song surprisingly there is a heaviness in Tiffany’s voice in this song. You and me has a poppy guitar sound but also has a rock sound and feel to it. You and I is on The Jetsons Movie Soundtrack. I have always been a Tiffany fan. Much of Tiffany’s music I have discovered while working on this project. I like Tiffany not just because she is a redhead. That probably has something to do with it I just do not realize it or I do not want admit it to myself. Bob Dylan he is loved by many people he is a legend. I just prefer a musican such as: John Hiatt. I do give Bob Dylan a pass because he was in the movie Hearts Of Fire with Fiona. I think Hearts Of Fire is the only movie Bob Dylan starred I am not sure. Hearts Of Fire is about an older musican who stoped playing music who was very popular but he becomes reclusive. He comes out of his retirement to help a young female musican make it to the top and to also see if he still has the desire to still play music. Hearts Of Fire is an amazing song by Fiona. The memories burn in these hearts of fire! I really enjoyed they were known as The New Age Outlaws in the WWE but what I really enjoyed was their time in TNA. The New Age Outlaws left the WWE and years later refomed their tag team Road Dogg and Billy Gunn were known as BG James and Kip James also known as Road Dogg and Billy Gunn in the WWE. The name of their tag team in TNA was The Voodoo Kin Mafia VKM for short. Also a part of this group was The Voodo Queen Roxxi Laveaux. This was my favorite version of the tag team. I know BG James and Kip James did not think that they were over/popular as they were in the WWE. It had to be hard to recreate what The New Age Outlaws had in the WWE with as much time that had past. Also having a tag team that was popular in the WWE and trying to do the same in another company had to be a challenge. In my opinion TNA BG James and Kip James did the best they could with what they were given. The Voodoo Kin Mafia was entertainining. I guess TNA BG James and Kip James did not feel like the fans were into them and felt like they were just entertaining themselves. My favorite team team has to be APA the most fun tag team I can remember. I love Bradshaw and Ron Simmons these two dudes were beer drinking and cards playing fun guys. Bradshaw and Ron Simmons were brawlers and a great tag team. I am going to talk more about The New Age Outlaws Road Dogg and Billy Gunn who were known as BG James and Kip James in TNA. I am going to give more of their TNA history: BG James was a part of the tag tem The 3 Live Kru with Ron The Truth Killings Konan and Kip James. Who left the WWE and joined TNA in 2005. When Kip James came to TNA he became a member of 3 Live Kru which became The 4 Live Kru . Then Konan turned on Kip in an eight man tag team match against Team Canada at Turning Point 2005. BG and Kip became a tag team in TNA called The James Gang. They quit TNA for a short time in 2006. Later that same year BG James and Kip James reformed their tag team they were known as The Voodo Kin Mafia. VKM for short. The TNA World Title Series I just wanted to write this down because I love this series. I am going to make notes of the final 16 in The TNA World Title Series:[1]Madison Rayne gained three points in The TNA World Title Series after defeating Brooke who also has three points in The TNA World Title Series. In my opinion TNA has the best women’s divison in professional wrestling. I have the up most respect for women in professional wrestling I think there are fans out there who demiss females in professional wrestling because of their sexuality. I am not one of them. They have a right to their opinion. I feel sex will always be a small aspect of professional wrestling. Professional wrestling just like rock’n roll has a sexuality aspect to it. It will always be there but the females in professional wrestling in my opinion work extremely hard every time they go out and perform. I really enjoy the female divison in TNA which is known as The Knockouts Divison. Which in my opinion has help build TNA Impact Wrestling. Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards who are a tag team called The Wolves both gained 1 point after a time limit draw. Which was a game of human chesse back and forth just an amazing performance by both Wolves. Two former best friends and members of Team Canada Bobby Roode and Eric Young went one on one in this series Eric Young defeated Bobby Roode to gain 3 points in The World Title Series. Bobby Roode has 0 points. I really have enjoyed The TNA World Title Series! The ‘Alpha Male Monty Brown was one of the most entertaing in ring promos/talkers in professional wrestling and he was not a bad bell to bell in ring performer. I think The Alpha Male Monty Brown was an underated in ring performer. The Alpha Male Monty Brown was magic on the mic. Go back and listen to Christain Cage and Monty Brown during their feud in TNA before the Turning Point PPV event in 2005. They both were magic on the mic. I think TNA and WWE missed an opportunity with Monty Brown! The Pounce period! I thought Monty would get a huge push it never seemed to happen. In professional wrestling I think many fans give up to quickly when professional wrestlers they like are not pushed at the time fans think they should be. The main aspect that I do not care for as a fan there have been so many professional wrestlers who start to receive some type of push and they get an injury. Or sometimes professional wrestlers I like it will look as if they will get a push and then it stops. In professional wrestling it takes a lot time when it comes to who gets a push and who does not. Usually if a professional wrestler is talented they will get a push but sometimes they do not. A guy like John Cena when I first saw this guy 13 years a go I never really thought John Cena was going to be as popular and as over with the fans as he is. That shows you what I know about talent. There have been many professional wrestlers that I have thought had some or a lot of talent inside the ring or on the mic but they never got pushed. In professional wrestling it takes time to develop mic skill and in ring skils and also in professional wrestling it depends on what the booker is looking for in a talent. A professional wrestler can be one of the best workers in the world with five star matches but if that is not what the booker is looking and it does not get over with fans/become popular. It does not matter. I think that is why fans enjoy MMA and enjoy MMA over professional wrestling because MMA is based on talent which is not always the case in professional wrestling. Not everyone is as fanatic a fan of professional wrestling as I am or the fans on the internet. So promoters and bookers must use the talent that casual fans recognize and hopefully the recognizable talent will help bring in those casual fans. Those fans care more about name recognition and are casual fans which is something fans and promoters must take into consideration. As a fan of professional wrestling I prefer the rule where professional wrestlers can loose their championship on a disqualification because I prefer there to be clear winners and lossers in professional wrestling. I do not like the rule that professional wrestlers can loose a match but keep their championship. I know some people aruge that having in place that professional wrestlers can loose a match but can keep their championship is better for the heel/bad guy because of the reaction that a heel/bad guy is trying to receive from the fans so I can understand both arguments. I just prefer a rule that is in place that when professional wrestlers are disqualified they loose the match and the championship in other words clear winners and loosers. Will you stay in this house and continue to rock my world? I am going to say that is a yes. Bret Micheals would said that on VH1’s Rock Of Love. That to me is a bad pick up line but it worked for him. I am glad that Bret was able to reintroduce himself to a new generation of people. I am sure many people who watched that show were not familiar with Poison so that is a great thing. For all the criticism I have done about the internet being able to discover older music is an amazing thing for music lovers. I have heard many musicians from 1970s and 1980s are tourning after many years. One of the bands that I wanted to mention that I think is worthy of note is a band called Romeo’s Daughter this band released an album in 1988. I really enjoyed two of their songs I cry myself to sleep at night which was covered by one of the front women of The Headpins Chrissty Steele she took over the band when Darby Mills went solo. I covered that previously Chrissty Steele’s cover of I cry myself to sleep at night is on her solo debut album and I believe only album Magent To Steele. The other song by Romeo’s Daughter is heaven in the backseat. The front of woman of Romeo’s Daughter is Leigh Matty. The producer of Romeo’s Daughter first album was Mutt Lange he is such a genius. I just wanted to add Romeo’s Daughter to my list of music. Lynch Mob the front man of Lynch Mob is George Lynch an unbelievable guitar player for Dokken. After Dokken broke up George Lynch formed Lynch Mob. I am much more of a fan of George Lynch as a guitar player but that is not to say that Lynch Mob did not have some pretty good tunes. My favorite Lynch Mob song is tangled in the web also a great music video. I think any guy can relate to tangled in the web. I enjoy the horns in this hard rock classic it works for tangled in the web. Lynch Mob released an album called Wicked Sensation with some great songs: wicked sensation and she’s evil but she’s mine. I am a fan of George Lynch I just prefer his guitar playing with Dokken. Abyss the TNA professional wrestler I really love the Abyss persona Abyss’s gimmick is one of my favorite gimmicks in professional wrestling. I love Mick Foley the first time I saw Abyss I thought what is Mick Foley doing in TNA? I thought it was one of Mick’s gimmicks Mankind. I think it is interesting that Chris Park also known as Abyss said in an interview with Jim Ross that Mick Foley’s persona Catus Jack was more of an influence then Mankind. It was very cool when Abyss had a program with Mick Foley in 2009 and had a match at TNA’s biggest event of the year Bound For Glory that same year. I like when Abyss had a managar or a girlfriend that he had to protect it makes him more human. I really enjoyed when Goldylocks was in TNA she was an amazing heel she was really good for someone who never worked in professional wrestling. Father James Mitchell Abyss’s father. Father James Mitchell is just magic whatever he does he’s amazing. That satin minister gimmick works for him. James Mitchell is an amazing heel managar that man needs a gig. Abyss’s on a screen girlfriend Lauren was great for Abyss because he was in love and he had someone to protect. Abyss is compared to Mankind and Chris Park takes it as a complement. Robert Plant songs from the 1980s that people may have heard that just did not recognize his voice. Here are a few songs from Robert Plant’s solo career: 29 palms that song was released in 1993. Big log was released in 1988. Ship of fools was released in 1988 and tall cool one was also released in 1988. I have mentioned Robert Plant’s solo career earlier. ECW Heavyweight Title 12/13/1998. In this match that took place in Japan Shane Douglas was with Francine Founier known as Shane’s Head Cheerleader. I have always thought Francine is an extremely beautiful and sexy woman. For the record I have always thought the same about Trisa Haynes an extremely sexy and beautiful woman. For those fans who do not think Tommy Dreamer can wrestle they should take a look at this match. Tommy respects all styles of professional wrestling. I just love Tommy Dreamer’s passion and love for the professional wrestling business. Tommy as an in ring worker he is great but I am biased. Tommy’s passon is one of the reasons he is my favorite professional wrestler not to watch but for his toughness and passion Tommy Dreamer is my favorite professional wrestler. I love The American Dream Dusty Rhodes for his passion from his heart when Dusty spoke I believed everything he said. Dusty talked about hard times about people loosing their jobs and not being able to provide for their families. Dusty was not a gimmick all of what Dusty said he believed. People say Dusty was not a great althlete but Dusty was a great althlete he was a football player and also a baseball player. The one thing I want people to say about me is I am loyal. Being loyal is something that is lost I think. TNA Impact Wrestling moves to Pop Live Tuesday January 5th 2016 TNA’s 14th year! I want to say thank you to everyone in TNA Impact Wrestling! I love you Dixie Carter The Chairman of TNA Impact Wrestling! Romeo’s Daughter one of the reasons a song such as I cry myself to sleep at night is important to me is the melody I love that the guitar riff is just laid out. It is that melodic rock sound of Romeo’s Daughter. I do not hear much talk about this band but Romeo’s Daughter is very underated in my opinion. Romeo’s Daughter is still performing. Romeo’s Daughter also had a great song called don’t break my heart. A great drum and crisp sound. Most of this music I have talked about is from the 1980s and I also have talked about my favorite alternative rock from the 1990s. I also am a fan of Motown or a musican such as: Al Green. I am not sure what kind of music a musican such as Al Green what his music would be considered but I am a a fan. Kip Winger and Reb Beach have so much passion on a song such as under one condition to me an amazing passionate song. The drum beat on this song is what I really enjoy about under one condition is on Winger’s album in the heart of the young. This album was released in 1991 which was the beginning of grunge and there was a blacklash against 1980s rock I really enjoy this album it is probably forgotten by most but I think this is one of Winger’s best. If I have not made clear and it does not hurt to say it again Saraya the band from New Jersey is one of my favorite bands and Sandi Saraya what a front woman! It did not hurt that she is hot and sexy but she can sing as well. What a talented band. I want every musican to know that I respect all of the musicans that I have talked about and I am very thankful for my love of music. My main influence for this project were radio shows and podcasts the most influential podcast being Wrestling News Live hosted by Trey Dawg JSK and Adam Martin. Saraya Fiona Flanagan and Garbage I love all of these musicans and I am thankful to all of these musicans. They are the best! This project as been very fun and I hope I have done well paying tribute to my favorite musicans and music that means the world to me. Thank god for the internet that I am able to find all of these amazing musicans and music because I have been able to listen and rediscover music that I love and have a connection. I hope with this project I am able to share the healing power that music has had in my life and continues to have in my life. As I mentioned earlier a musican as talented as Reb Beach could do anything with music wheather that is with Whitesnake or Winger it is going to be great. I am glad that many of these musicans are still around because there is an audience like me who loves this music. I was not even born when most of this music I have talked about came out. It is that what is old is new again. Many of these musicans have not peformed after many years after grunge took over I still think a band like Saraya could have a bigger band if not for the popularity of grunge. I am truly honored that I get to talk about music and musicans that mean the world to me. I am honored that I get to give my opinions on professional wrestling wheather people agree or not does not matter to me this as been an honor. I am going to talk about one of my favorite albums Fiona Flanagan’s heart like a gun which was released in 1989 with the duet with Kip Winger everything you do you’re sexing me. Alright I am going to just list some of my favorite songs from heart like a gun: every thing you do you’re sexing me with Kip Winger where the cowboys go here it comes again look at me now Little Jeannie the look of love. All of these songs are special to me a lot of excellent music came out in 1989 Saraya’s debut album was released in 1989. Also Robin Beck‘s debut album was released trouble or nothing. My favorite porn star is Christy Canyon I am not aware if I have watched porn or not and have never seen any of Christy’s work but I have to admit I like the way she looks. In ECW Beulah Mcgillicutty had a talk show called Beulah’s box and her theme was heart shaped box by Nirvana and she also had one of my favorite songs as her theme by my favorite alternative rock band #1 crush by Garbage and as I said before she is an extremely beautiful and sexy woman. In the 1990s there was a new form of rock called grunge and alternative rock and ECW made video packages with the best in grunge and alternative and that is what made ECW counter culture to WWE. #1 crush by Garbage fiit Beulah Mcgillicutty perfectly and it is why Paul Heyman is a genius those video packages. Beulah Mcgillicutty also known as Trisa Haynes who is married to Tommy Dreamer. Francine Fournier manged Tommy Dreamer as well as The Franchise Shane Douglas. I mentioned that previously. That was all a part of the counter culture that was ECW. ECW also had tough bad ass sexy women and at the time other professional wrestling companies did not want to go there that was too edgy at the time. But when I look at the TNA Knockouts in TNA that is an influence from The ECW Revolution. Saraya is one of those bands I really wish would reunite just one more time. I do not care if they release anything new that band was magic. The Franchise Shane Douglas’s dad who was an old World War 2 verteran always told Shane growing up it is easy to be middle of the road it is easy to be non-controversial but all the successful people Shane’s dad would talk to him about the scientists and all the people throughout history that made it they were always people who took chances. That is timeless advice for me and everyone. I can not express the wisdom that are in those statements. On the Hearts Of Fire soundtrack there is an amazing pure passion ballad by Fiona called the nights we spend on earth. There are so many emotions in this power ballad. I would say another classic from Fiona Flanagan. I will say this again the 1980s were the best and worst time for music. This is that good music I am always trying to talk about. For some reason radio will not touch this music. I enjoy the melody of a song like the nights we spend on earth this song has a very unique melody and a sadness to the rhythem and gorgeous vocals by Fiona! My dad keeps seeing all of these movies that are coming out they are remakes of movies that are rated PG-13. I think because society as become so politically correct and people are trying to appeal to everyone. I say screw that! The best forms of art and entertainment were good because they were not trying appeal to everyone. Stop I am so sick of this! I am not saying everything needs to have volence and nudity and all good stuff. Just do the type of entertainment you want to do and if it is good people will come. Making movies there are a certain amount of people who want to see it is not that hard. People who spend money and do not feel bad about it and think well that was a waste of money and time. For the record I felt that way when I saw Avaitor. I remember so many people when I told them I did not like this movie you would think I killed their cat. It is just my opinion. Many of James Carmeron’s movies are my favorites The Terminator is one my favorite movies not for the special effects but for the story telling the real humam emotion. Alright more Robin Beck there is so much excellent music by Robin Beck. There is a reason Robin Beck is one of my favorite musicans. She has an album called do you miss me? OH Yeah! I just love the soul and passion in Robin Beck’s music. Robin Beck has a song called wrecking ball on her album underneath released in 2013. Robin Beck’s debut album trouble or nothing that I have called a masterpiece. If I was on a Desert Island trouble or nothing by Robin Beck would be one of those albums I would bring not only for the first time but for a song like sleeping with the enemy. Jim Ross interviews The Professor Mike Tenay July 8th 2015 on The Ross Report Part 2. Notes: JR. has said on his show the greatest performer not in ring performer but performer is Bobby The Brain Heenan. Bobby The Brain Heenan is better than Shawn Micheals Bobby Heenan is a better performer than Ric Flair. Bobby was Mike Tenay’s favorite partner to work with. Mike asks the question to Jim Ross is there anyone as natural a communicator as Bobby Heenan? JR says no. Mike tells JR I am right there with you when you say no. JR. got to work with Bobby Heenan before he went to WCW. JR worked with Bobby Heenan on WWE Challenge. Mike Tenay started in the wrestling business in 1994. Mike Tenay made his announcing debut during When World’s Colide. JR tells Mike he had a similar situation in 1993 he comes to work for the WWE after working for the enemy WCW. JR was not the most popular guy in television production. The two guys that accepted me were Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan. When they embraced JR the other guys knew he was okay and it made his life so much easier. Mike Tenay’s says his most unique experience of his career was his WCW run. Mike says he will never forget the phone call from Eric Bischoff and how he changed his life when he said: We are making Mango a wrestler we want you to join the announce team will see you Monday in Chattanooa TN for Monday Nitro. We talked about opening doors Eric Bischoff did that for me and I was able to make a nice living for the next twenty years. Eric Bischoff was in Mike’s corner from the out set with Mike Tenay’s Radio show in terms of sponsorship in terms of opportunities that would help put Mike Tenay on the wrestling map. The WCW run there was nothing like it. Mike tells Jim Ross he can not tell him how many times there would be talent from the past that Bobby would know and would introduce talent to Mike and say I want you to meet Mike Tenay he is one of us. Mike tells JR that having that stamp of approval what that does when you have someone at the level of a Bobby Heenan what that does to you in the wrestling business. Mike Tenay prefers a two man booth when it comes to announcing wrestling. If it is a three man booth like we had at Nitro he liked it when it was a three man booth when you had Larry Zbysko for half the show and you had Larry and Bobby providing the wrestler’s prospective and the comedy. Then you had Mike Tenay providing the factoids and you had Tony Shiavone driving the car. Here is a list: of my favorite wrestling announcers not in any order: Jim Ross Mike Tenay Corey Maclin Joey Styles Lance Russell and Tony Shiavone. Don West was an amazing color commentator from a fan’s propestive Taz can be really good in terms of breaking down moves and holds and taking the fans inside the ring much like John Madden did for football. More Romeo’s Daughter attracted to the animal I love the party sound of this song. I have said there are not many party songs anymore. Attracted to the animal has a Def Leppard pour some sugar on me feel to it. This is good stuff! Attracted to the animal is on Romeo’s Daughter’s album delectable which was released in 1993. Attracted to the animal has kind of a 1990s alternative feel to it. So baby come on over I got news for you this red blooded female’s mind is set on you lyrics from attracted to the animal. I am going to talk about another favorite of mine when it comes to good 1980s music. Laura Branigan her song self control the power of Laura’s voice and passion of her voice those two combined is what does it for me. Self control the music video is strange but the oo course is catchy. I love the guitar riff and the wonderful 80s keybord. Laura Branigan’s song forever young not the Rod Stewart song but forever young by Laura Branigan just great emotion and feeling in this song. She also did a version of the power of love which is a song most well known by Celine Dion that song that has lyrics such as:: I’m your lady and you are my man all right that is enough! But she sang it really well. Sometimes in professional wrestling talents maybe rushed to a main roster of a company to fill a need or a slot or because of an injury there are many factors it could be. The talents are not ready for primetime let’s say. Basically the talent is just there for a number of factors but the point is they have not developed all that goes into being a professional wrestler. For example: a professional wrestler maybe in a postion because of their size and that is it. They are just there for a single reason. I am not saying that professional wrestlers can not be successful with just one attribute it depends on two factors: if that is what the booker is looking for in a talent and if it gets over with the fans. When talent is rushed to the main roster of a company fans such as myself will make assumptions about what we see in a talent their short comings and will bury professional wrestlers before they have a chance to develop their skills. Which is unfair to the talent but fans are human. That is why I think it is best for talents to work in different places before they are exsposed to a lager audience. But something that is unavoidable because of a need In other words they may look the part but are not. Don West in my opinion there is no one better annoying professional wrestling from a fan’s prospective then Don West! Don’s passion and enthusiasm for professional wrestling is real and authenic! Don West is perfect for the larger than life personalities that professional wrestling prossess. Don West is the perfect salesman!
