#5

Halestorm is one of my newer favorite hard rock bands.   Lizzy Hale just can own a stage.   Lizzy’s voice is that of dominances.   In others words she is in control.   Lizzy is not going to do anything she does not want to do.   An example: of Lizzy’s dominances is Halestorm’s song American boys.   This is an anthem where Lizzy pays tribute to the boys.   If this song is objectifying guys I am all for that!   I am even more of a fan of this song if it is!   I am more of a Halestorm fan and more specifically of Lizzy Hale!      Because she wrote it.   Lizzy sings the lyrics: American boys they are my favorite toys.   Or lyrics such as: they are my drug of choice.   I love it!  My favorite Halestorm song is called hate it when you see my cry.   This is a beautifully written ballad.   Lizzy Hale can really sing and this song is prime example of that.   In the song Lizzy is singing about how she is supposed to be the person that this other person is supposed to count.   Lizzy is showing her vulnerable side.   Which she is not supposed to be the vulnerable one.   My favorite lyrics: of hate to see me cry.   Lizzy is supposed to be you’re rock’n roll Joan Of Arc.   Lizzy is supposed to be here to save the world.   But she signs who will save Super girl?     Lizzy is singing about how she needs this person now.   Lizzy sings what if I’m weak and I need you tonight?   Will you still want me in the morning?   I can answer that hell yeah!      Giving individuals their moment.   It probably for the most part will make not only a fan feel embraced but it will also make the giver of the moment feel embraced as well.   I am also a believer in giving public figures their space.   However just because people are in the public eye that does not mean that fans have right to treat public figures anyway they want.   Sticking a camera or a smart phone in someone 's face is not cool.   I just think it is just common curtesy to treat people the same way.      Regardless if they are public figure or not.   I have heard about some fans who want what they want.   They do not care about inconveniencing anyone.   Which is the wrong way to go about it.   I just think it is extremely important to give everyone their personal space.   Ronnie James Dio said and I love this: he said never take anyone’s moment away from them.    Because the fans will never forget it!      Ozzy Osborne said it best I think when it comes to hard rock and heavy metal music he said: “Telling people who play this type of music not  to wear black is like telling someone who likes Country Western not to wear cowboy hats”.    In other words it is fun!   It is good!   Daughters of darkness this  is an excellent anthem for bad ass hard rock chicks.   I would put Lizzy Hale in this category!     We can turn you on or we will turn on you!   Those lyrics sum it up perfectly.   I would not mess with Lizzy Hale!   Tell me where it hurts not the song by: Garbage but from Halestorm.   I love this song.   Tell me where it hurts is just a nasty hard rock song.   Another song that shows Lizzy dominances!   I compare Lizzy Hale’s vocal style to that of Joan Jett or this would make Lizzy smile Lita Ford.   In that all three of them can do the best hard rock.   But also do the most heartfelt loving and beautiful ballads.   An example: at least for me is called in your room.   In my opinion in your room is about trust.    It is about someone who is struggling to trust anyone.   Because everyone this person has trusted as let him down.   So Lizzy is asking him to let her in his room.   So he can show every part of himself to Lizzy.   I mean all emotions I can understand hiding or not wanting people to see emotions that people have.   I have been there I think everyone has been there.   But Lizzy is there to help this person out.   Whatever emotions this person has.   He is safe with her.   That is just beautiful.   A gorgeous message!      What were you expecting?   Which is another heavy and hard rock song from Halestorm.   This song starts off with the lyrics: you should know I am not your baby.   She never was.    But I guarantee if Lizzy wants a guy  to become her baby she would take him.    Lizzy would make whoever she wants her's.    In what were you expecting? Lizzy is not going to play a traditional damsel in distress.   She is going to do everything on her own terms.   In the song Lizzy does not need this guy.   She is not going  to play house.   Lizzy is not going to just fall in love.   I am going to try and stay hard and stay heavy because I do not have a choice!   Next up bad girls world from Halestorm.   In this song Lizzy is singing about how times are changing.   Most people will not understand.   But if these hot chicks blaze the trail like no one else they will have no choice but to acknowledge your existence.   In that respect it is reminiscent of we’re not going take it from Twisted Sister.   But this anthem is for bad ass chicks or rebel babies.   Which is what they are referred   to in the song.    They are pretty things with a dirty mouth.   Lizzy would say this is not tampon rock.   Which is just dressing up a band with no songs.   Also who play no instruments.   It is just dressing up a pretty girl.   To me individuals have to be authentic and real.   Lizzy Hale is the real deal.   I will admit me she is extremely sexy and gorgeous but she owns it!     In other words that is just a cherry that adds to the enjoyment!     But Lizzy Hale really has talent.   That is what it all comes down to for me.   Looks are great but the talent has to come with it.   Or it will not last long.   In bad girls world Lizzy sings they will hate you because you’re brave.   Or they will hate you because your beautiful.   But if you will be yourself for no one else.   It will be okay.   One last Halestorm song which is unapologetic.   In this song Lizzy is singing about how she is unapologetic for with this person in the song.    She is unapologetic for having a dirty mouth.   You can’t wash it away.   Lizzy will not give you anything less than every part of herself.    She will take this person in the song as he is.   They will burn like the stars.   That is excellent.   I am worried about the state of rock music.   I am talking about mainstream this music is not in the mainstream consciousness like it should be.   I realize rock’n roll is an underground scene.   It always has been.   But rock’n roll has been in the more mainstream consciousness in the past.   Whether I like or not people have to be aware of this music in most cases they are not.   But with a band like Halestorm Dorothy or Rival Sons I feel better about the future of the state of rock’n roll.   I first discovered Brody Dalie doing a duet with Shairly Manson called girl talk.   Then I discovered an excellent song called don’t mess with me.   From Brody’s debut album Diploid Love.   I love the beat and rhythm of don’t mess with me.   This song just has a heavy edge to it.   It has kind of a poppy sound but also a heavy base and rhythm.   A little bit of the poppy sound is the hook.   Which every popular song has a hook.   The hook is used to get a listener’s attention.   But don’t mess with me has an extremely heavy base and drum section.   Brody’s voice is extremely raw.   She is an excellent guitar player.   Don’t mess with me has a heavy drum section and is poppy but has a heavy guitar riff.   The word poppy when disscuing harder rock is usually a derogatory term in this instance I am just describing the hook.   Which every song that becomes any kind of hit has.    Brody can also give a heavy scream.   Brody’s scream is extremely heavy.   I love a lot of hard and heavy music.   But the music has to have real vocals with real instruments.    In other words it can’t be just a bunch of noise and screaming.   Which is a stereotype of harder rock music.   I did not mention heavy metal.   Because I am not sure what would classify as:  heavy metal maybe something a little bit darker.   I discovered Brody Dalie extremely late.   Diploid Love is Brody’s first and only debut album.   She fronted a couple bands.   One of the bands was called The Distillers.   The other band was The Spinnerette.   If Brody has fronted any other bands I apologize for leaving any other bands out.   But I can’t find them.   My favorite song from The Spinnerette is called all babes are wolves I love the heaviness of this song.   Brody has such an alluring voice.   That also has elements of punk to it.   I know that Liz Phair got a ton of grief for releasing a so called “pop record”.   Which was called Somebody’s miracle.   This is not a bad album.   The only thing I can figure is that there are people who do not want musicians or artists in general to grow and evolve.   Some of these songs really have an edge to them.   I just crank some of these song.   An example: extraordinary.   Which is on Liz’s self-titled album Liz Phair.   Extraordinary has a heavy drum and a heavy guitar.   It may be really fun to rock out to live.   Or to just hear live!    Liz can change her guitar style from something really beautiful.   To a heavier alternative rock sound.      Liz said that in an interview she has changed her style many times.   Which I didn’t take into account.   But it makes sense.   Which to me a musician who is evolving and who changes their style is a real artist.   Liz Phair writes her own songs and her own music.   I think because Liz made her mark as: an independent or an indie artist many people felt that Liz was turning her back on her indie sound into something more mainstream.   I do not listen to music for only one reason to just crank something or to rock out.   I also want to feel something when I listen to music.    To put it another way the harder stuff is excellent.   But human beings are full of different emotions contradictions and feelings.   Music can be an outlet for expressing those emotions.   Not only expressing emotions but music is a way of dealing with emotions individuals have.   There are certain musicians who when they are writing songs they are dealing with emotions they have.   Or they are just trying to make sense of the emotions they have.   Those songs to me are the best kind of songs.    In the words of Tori Amos musicians are trying to slice something open and go after it.   Whatever the emotion that is what really diverse and well-rounded musicians are trying to get back from the listeners.   I will admit that Liz Phair’s album Funstyle is more up my alley then some of the songs on Somebody’s miracle.   But I still do not understand why so many individuals dismissed this album.   I guess because Somebody’s Miracle was Liz Phair first chance at doing something a little more mainstream.   By the time Somebody’s miracle was released the popularity of the alternative rock scene that Liz was a part of in the 1990s was gone.   So maybe Somebody’s miracle was Liz Phair first attempt to experiment.   Which to me that is not selling out.   Somebody’s miracle seems to me to be a natural growth.   Selling out to me is trying capitalize on a popular trend just because it is popular.   But when I listen to a song from Liz’s album Funstyle such as: and he slayed her I think this is a natural progression.  And he slayed her is one of my favorite Liz Phair songs.   I think it is one of her best.    From Liz’s album Somebody’s miracle everything to me is a pretty good.   I have heard so many individuals say this is to poppy granted everything to me is completely different from her first #1 hit never said.   Which is from Liz’s album Exile from Guyvile.   Everything to me has an excellent base and rhythm.   I think there are hardcore fans of certain musicians that if they go slightly in a different direction those hardcore fans go nuts! Here is sort of an example:   Kenny Rogers started in a band called Kenny Rogers and The First Edition.   The First Edition had a #1 hit with just drop in to see what condition my condition was in.   This song came out in the 1960s.   I guess Kenny thought I cannot make a living by just being a hippie.   So he cut his hair and completely changed his style.   Which was I guess more accessible to a mainstream audience.   I just drop in to see what condition my condition was in was one of Jimi Hendrix’s favorite songs.   That is just an example.   Somebody’s miracle which is a single from Liz Phair album of the same name.   In my opinion this is a beautiful song.   It is not really a love song but it is more of ballad.   Every song can’t be a rocking song.   Somebody’s miracle was featured on the television show Charmed.   My favorite song on Somebody miracle is called everything between us.   This song I think is about fear.   Fear of taking a chance or taking a chance with someone.   But in this song whatever these two individuals have together it will never leave them.   In everything between us Liz sings the lyrics: you have nothing left to fear dear because it ain’t never going to leave us.   That is extremely reassuring to me.   I think because I have cerebral palsy and asthma it can be almost impossible for me to get the air out to speak.   That is why sometimes when I give a speech I sometimes will cough.   I did not discover this until I took speech therapy.   I think it was great for me to discover that having asthma was one of  the reasons I was having for not being able to speak in a louder cleaner voice.   In the past when I have tried to speak louder what would happen my vocal cords would tighten up which sucks.   But what made me feel better about my situation I went to an ear noise and throat specialist.   The doctor explained it to me this way he said to play an instrument a person needs air capacity to play the instrument. That I may not have the ability to speak louder.   Most people would think I would be upset by this.   But I was not.   I learned in life there are things that may not happen for me.   If I focuses on them all I would be doing is wasting time and energy.   So what I decided to do is focus on the positive aspects of my life.   If I did not have a family who cares about me I would not make it.   But for me because I have an intact family my life is okay.   There are things that   I am not sure if any of that will happen for me.   But that does not mean that I cannot have happiness and peace from the Holy Sprit.    When I would wear my heart on sleeve someone told me and it did not resonate with me until years later he said somebody is looking out for you.   I think about that a lot because this person was right!   I learned something about myself if I act happy only when I feel happy I would never do it.   When I  hear people say what does anyone have to be depressed? I am sorry to say this because many probably mean well.   I do not want admit this but indivuals need other indivuals to get through this thing called life.   I was kind of brought up to believe that is selfish.   It is still almost impossible for me to lean on other people.   Because I have something in me that says I am being selfish.   I do not know how to fix this.   I hope that this changes.   Because there is a ton of depression out there.   I hope that as I mature I will not feel so selfish about leaning on other people.   So who knows?   I try to be upbeat and everything there is so much hopelessness out there.   But what I try to remember is how precarious life is.   That is the main reason why I let things go so quickly.   Because life can change so quickly human beings cannot comprehend it.   It is not selfish to need another person.    I am not trying to be sexist but I think women are better caregivers and nurturers then men are.   Because I can be very closed off from the world around me.   This whole business of my feeling selfish of the idea of needing another person’s help maybe another part of my human nature that I must learn to fight against.   I think I have some kind of idea why I may be the way I am.   Guys or males are taught to be unemotional and not to show any kind of venerability.   I think it is built into most guys that if they show any kind of venerability there is something wrong with them.   Which is part of the problem I think. I know it is.     I know one thing for sure has much as I do not want to admit it.   I will not be able to get through this life alone no one will.         Now I am going to put on my bandana and go hard and heavy!   I have noticed that I can head bang to music that I would normally think I can not head bang.     An example of a song that I would not think I would normally head bang.   The title track to Belinda Carlisle album Runaway horses.  I do not know if I mentioned this or not but on the song leave a light also by Belinda Carlisle George Harrison plays slide guitar on it.   Leave a light on is also on Belinda’s album Runaway horses.   I can also head bang to leave a light on.   I think Runaway horses is Belinda Carlisle’s best album.   Runaway horses is a song that has been used as a wedding song!     That is what makes it hilarious.     But I can head bang to it and really rock out to it.   Veruca Salt has some deep track which is what they are called in the radio business.       A deep cut is a rare obscure song that is not well known.   The first deep track from Veruca Salt is called straight.   Veruca Salt is an alternative rock band from the 1990s. Even though Veruca Salt was an alternative rock band they still had a pop sensibility to them.      But straight has a harder more aggressive sound.   This is very difficult to find.   But it is a great song.   The next deep track by: Veruca Salt is called all mine.   This is my favorite Veruca Salt song.      This song is a harder track from Veruca Salt.   It has a possessive and stalker vibe to it that I love.  All mine I think is about finally getting a guy but there are consequences to what she has done.       There are lyrics in all mine such as: it is just like a man to trust me with all his might.   In others words it came at a cost.     Again this is extremely difficult to find.   But it is still excellent!      Louise Post and Nina Gordon really harmonize extremely well together.      All mine has an extremely disturbing vibe to it.    Which again is why it is my favorite Veruca Salt song.   Nina Gordon has some great solo material.   Many of Nina’s albums are extremely diverse.   In terms of both the content and the direction that she takes her music.   An example: Nina Gordon’s first solo album Tonight and the rest of my life.   I wonder if any guy in the history of ever.   As sung to their wife or girlfriend she’s evil but she’s mine from Lynch Mob. I wonder how that would go?    What if your wife or girlfriend is really evil?      She’s evil but she’s mine is on Lynch Mob’s album Wicked sensation It is kind of in the same vein of that Billy Joel song she’s always a woman to me.   Another favorite song of mine from The Spinnerette is called sex bomb.   I am not really sure what I like about this song.   But it is truly one of my favorites.   It is one of my wonderful guilty pleasures.   Those from my own experience are the best albums and songs.   I think Brody Dalie’s voice and vocals are what really does it for me.   She knows what she is doing and she does it well!   This song is not a cover of sex bomb from Tom Jones.   A musician who I think is underrated and underappreciated is Suzanna Vega.   Her song are truly gems.      Suzanna’s music is full genuine emotion and is always something real and truly authentic.   Suzanna Vega entered the public consciousness with her first #1 hit Luka.   Two of my favorite songs from Suzanna are: in Liverpool and gypsy.   Solitude standing is another great song from Suzanna Vega.   There are many great songs and albums that Suzanna Vega has done.   I love Suzanna voice it is quite it is low but her voice is full of genuineness.   I think the best way to describe Suzanna Vega’s musical style and approach would be that of a storyteller.   She is a genuine storyteller.   There is always something sliced open when it comes to the subject matter.     There are many uncomfortable subjects in which Suzanna tackles in her songs.   For example: Suzanna’s #1 hit Luka is about child abuse.   Check this out: I think Tom’s diner sounds like the theme from I dream of Jeannie.   Or it sounds very similar to it.   I would not be surprised if Tom’s diner was not used to promote one of the summer blocks for Nick at nite.   In Liverpool has a very crisp drum section.   In Liverpool also features Suzanna’s beautiful voice.   In   Liverpool is on Suzanna’s album 99.9% F.   Which is also the name of a great song on the album.   Gypsy is a beautiful sort of done acoustically on guitar ballad.   It may be considered folkie.    I do not mean folkie to be a derogatory term.     Gypsy is a well-crafted piece of music.   One last song that I think is a great song from Suzanna Vegas’s musical catalog is called no cheap thrill.   This is very different from I think what Suzanna has done in the past.   This song is about a card game and the thrill or the danger of taking risks.   Suzanna adds a very smooth style to her voice and vocals to no cheap thrill.   I wonder why Suzanna Vega was never featured on VH1’s Storytellers.   Which was one of my favorite shows.   I really feel that Suzanna Vega is a storyteller.   In her music she inculpates stories and events.   My favorite Eagles song is called those shoes.   Don Henley does the vocals on those shoes.   But I can hear Joe Walsh in the background.   Those shoes is a heavier rock song from The Eagles.   Joe Walsh plays guitar on those shoes.   Those shoes is one of The Eagles later songs.    I think those shoes was released in 1979 or 1980.   I think because those shoes was released later it is not really well known.   But it is excellent.   I would say the best way to listen to this song is from one of The Eagles Greatest Hits or Selected Works 1972-1999 [live Millennium Concert.]   The main reason I picked The Eagles’s album Desperado to discuss in an earlier section I think it is their most diverse album.    For example: tequila sunrise and out of control.   Both are great great songs but are different in terms of style and the approach to the music.   Both of these songs feature Glenn Frey on lead vocals.   Alice Copper looked around and said there are no rock’n roll villains.    He wanted to be the first rock’n roll villain.   He was tired of all the rock’n roll heroes.   I am not sure if certain people understood that he was playing a role of a rock’n roll villain.   My favorite Alice Copper song is I’m 18.   I also like no more mister nice guy.   The important thing to remember most about Alice Copper his character is that of a rock’n roll villain.   I have never considered myself to be a rebel of any kind.      But rock’n roll has always had an element of rebellion to it.   Also sex and rock’n roll has always gone hand and hand they always have.   Lizzy Hale said it best she said make sure you are good at what you do.   Also own your sexuality as well.   I guess it may suck for some individuals but it is the way of the world.   I know two things for sure about rock’n roll and sex going together.   For musicians who play rock’n roll make sure you are good at what you do.   For the females who play rock’n roll this is just my opinion.   This is just a bonus females can use their sexuality as a weapon.   In other words use it to your advantage!      So rock’n roll and I will say this until the day I die rock’n roll is not a bad thing.   I really hate the term cougar for an older woman or dates a younger guy it is stupid!   There are dating websites for this.      If an older guy dates a younger woman his friends usually refer to him as the “man”.   Version of you is another excellent and beautiful song from Belinda Carlisle. It is the sadist song on the album.   This is Belinda’s favorite song on Beautiful Horses.   Mad about you is another favorite song of mine by: Belinda Carlisle.   Mad about you can found on Belinda Carlisle’s album Belinda.   Or one of her greatest hits or a very best of.   Which are the same thing.   I could listen to Joe Walsh play guitar all day. To me a prime example: of this is a song called rocky mountain way.   I have seen Joe perform this with his brethren The Eagles.   I love the heavy guitar riff that rocky mountain way has which is a crisp guitar riff.   There are many guitar riffs that are heavy but are not crisp.   A guitar riff can be heavy but if it is not crisp it can be very unpleasant to the listeners ears.    The reason this particular guitar riff is memorable it is clean crisp and clear.   Joe Walsh created the guitar riff for life in the fast line.   Which is an excellent riff.   But I still think rocky mountain is the superior of the guitar riffs.      The guitar riff on rocky mountain way is very reminisce of James Gang.   Which in my opinion James Gang had a more of a distorted guitar sound.   But pretty much all of Joe’s guitar riffs are extremely distorted.   I love the intro: too crazy from Aerosmith the way Steven Tyler says come ere baby!     That is one of the best intros: lyrically.   Crazy is on Aerosmith’s album Get A Grip.    My favorite Warrant song is called machine gun.    From Warrant’s album Dog Eat Dog.     To me this song is Jani Lane at his finest.   I love the song cherry pie.   But Jani Lane was more than just the cherry pie guy.     The dude could truly sing.   Down boys is another fun heavy song.   Warrant’s best power ballad in my opinion is called I saw red.   This ballad really shows the diversity of Jani Lane.   One of my favorite Simpsons episodes is called The Otto Show.   In this episode Otto is fired from his job of driving a school bus.  Otto does not get along with his dad who is an admiral.   So Bart tells Otto he can move in with him and his family.   Homer says about Otto this is not Happy Days and he is not The Fronz.   It is a great episode!   Jon Butcher is a singer songwriter.   Jon Butcher performs a great song called wishes.   From his album wishes.   It is a great song.   I want to discuss more of Belly singer Tanya Donelly’s music as: a solo artist.     There are so many elements to Tanya Donelly’s music.   One of my favorite songs from Tanya is called the night you saved my life.   The main aspect I always try to remember even though all of Tanya’s music has an alternative rock feel to it.   Some of her songs also have a country vibe to them.   Some of Tanya’s music has elements of hip-hop.   I am not really sure how to describe her music.   The night you saved my life is on Tanya’s album The Bright Light.   Another favorite of song of my mine from Tanya’s is called breath around.   Some of Tanya Donnelly’s live recordings from the BBC are well done.   I am truly stumped on the best way to describe Tanya Donelly’s music and vibe.       Mary Magdalene in the great sky is another boatful song from Tanya’s album Swag Song Series.   The last song that is one of my favorite from Tanya’s album is called wild love.   Tanya Donelly has performed with Kim and Kelley Deal also known as: The Breeders.   She has performed with Juliana Hateflied.   I am disappointed that I am stumped.     I will say this the most important aspect about Tanya Donelly she keeps changing and evolving as: a musician.   Gina Carano almost got me into mixed martial arts.   When Gina started in MMA it was something different.   She could beat her opponents with a devastating right hand or a sweet rear choke.   What I like most about Gina is her sticking her tongue out.   That is something very appealing to me about Gina Carano.   I also love the movie Haywire.   Haywire is an underappreciated and underrated movie.   Gina Carano may have started the female revolution that is constantly being disused in both professional wrestling and Mixed Marital Arts.    She is a bad ass!   My favorite theme:  from any James Bond movie is from The World Is Not Enough.   Garbage performs the theme for The World Is Not Enough.   The music is beautiful and it is beautifully sung by Shairly Mansion.   This is on the soundtrack for The World Is Not Enough.     I also found this on Garbage’s greatest hits which is called Absolute Garbage.   I really enjoyed The Queen Of Extreme Franchine managing Tommy Dreamer.      I think Franchine managing Tommy was a great call.   Franchine was great on the mic.   Some ECW historians might say that The Franchine’s best work was with The Franchise Shane Douglas.   Shane Douglas is another guy I think who does not get enough credit for helping build ECW.   Also Sabu that man does not really get any credit for anything for being as innovate as he was.   Sabu was to me ECW’s first attraction.   Sabu should have made a ton of money in the business for being so creative and imaginative with his aerial offense I am really not sure why Sabu is not given the credit he deserves.   I am really glad that Mick Foley gets the accolades he deserves.   Maybe because Mick made it to the WWE that is probably why he gets the credit he deserves.   ECW had a big blue ring everything in ECW looked sick. ECW’s presentation was that of a rock concert and not of a traditional wrestling show at the time.   Raven was also underrated he truly was great in ring and also on the microphone.   USWA Championship Wrestling was excellent.   I am not just saying that because I am from Memphis Tennessee.  USWA Championship Wrestling was presented as legit.   I can almost guarantee that The Superstar Bill Dundee or The King Jerry Lawler did not script a promo or an interview.   They spoke from their heart.   I love rasslin which is a style.   The term rasslin is made fun.   But the style of rasslin drew money for almost 75 years.   I do not have a record or anything that is really just a guess on my part.   Sweet is a band that probably is best known for the tune ballroom blitz.   This song reminds me of the end of Wayne’s World.   Tia Carrere is a musician in her own right.   At the end of Wayne’s World she performs ballroom blitz.   Ballroom blitz is also featured in another one of my favorite movies Bordello of blood.   Which is a guilty pleasure of mine.     But it one of my favorites.   Bordello of blood stars Dennis Miller and Angie Everhart.   I wonder if when Eric Bischoff was The Vice President of WCW if he wanted the announcers not to know the finishes to get their natural reaction as fans.   I think it makes sense.   Because knowing the finish of a match takes away the surprise of what might happen.   It might have been a great idea.   But it probably caused a rift between the announcers.   So I think there are good aspects to it and bad ones.   I guess if a finish to a match is known to the announcers it gives announcers preparation for their reaction.   I am not sure if it is a difference in philosophy of how professional wrestling should be presented.   For example:  Vince McMahon presents his product as strictly just entertainment.   Eric Bischoff may have had a different approach.   I am not sure I am sort of getting this impression from Tony Schiavone.   That maybe in WCW Eric Bischoff wanted the announcers not to be as aware of what was going on unlike in WWE.   I am not sure all of this is just speculation on my part.   I will say this if it is true I think that would make a more interring product.   If that was Eric’s philosophy it worked for a short time.   One of my favorite band growing up was a band called Bush.   Bush was one of those bands that I discovered when I did not have a keen sense of music at the time.   All I knew was I liked it.   Gavin Rossdale is the front man of Bush.   Not to knock anybody but I always think of Bush as: Gavin Rossdale’s band.   His vocals I think are what caught my ear.   I am not sure but to put this thing in context.   I started listening to Bush the same year I discovered Garbage.   The next year Matchbox 20 came out with their debut album.      Matchbox 20 became my favorite band for a time.   At a certain time if someone asked me who my favorite bands were I would say Matchbox 20 and Bush.   One of my Bush songs is called mouth.    Everything Zen is probably my favorite Bush song.   I actually really enjoy the live version of the song.   It just sounds really crisp and well done.   I only heard the live version of Everything Zen once on Rock 103.   It was really by chance.   In the 1990s WWE had a fan line which was a hotline that WWE fans could call and win prizes and be in the know.     WCW had a fan hotline where fans could call in win prizes and be in the know.   ECW also had a fan line called The ECW Hardcore Hotline.   I regret not knowing about ECW earlier.   Because now ECW is looked upon with such fawness.   On ECW first ever show on TNN.   ECW presented their history from top stars that went on to other companies.   Global Force Wrestling Impact On Pop has an opening where they present their history of former top stars.   Which I think is a great thing.   Because even though those so called “bigger stars” are no longer in the company it shows newer fans their history.   So the newer fans can know a little bit of their history.   To put it another way it will give them a reason to watch.   In other words showing them individuals they recognize.   Tommy Dreamer used the Cactus Closeline that was made famous by Cactus Jack.   Diamond Dallas Page used the same closeline in WCW.   DDP was known as The People’s Champion.   The Rock was also known as: The People Champion as well in the WWE.      I probably cannot overstate how over DDP was in WCW.   DDP was the so called every man like Tommy Dreamer in ECW DDP was not supposed to make it in WCW.   Or in professional wrestling in general.    I think Tommy Dreamer compared himself to that of John McClain from Die Hard.      Or at least that is how Paul Heyman saw Tommy as John McClain from Die Hard the same with DDP.   Diamond Dallas Page had Kimberly by his side.   I think Mike Tenay gave him the moniker of People’s Champion.   Maybe and I do not mean this as a knock DDP may have needed someone to lead him by the hand. Or someone to just tell him go out there and do it.   So I am not sure but I know that Diamond Dallas Page was a top star in WCW.   One of my favorite movies is called Triple X.   The thing about Triple X it knows what it is.   Just like one of my other favorite movies Commando they both know what they are.    At least that is my take on it.   I do not care about so called realism it is fun.   Triple X is excellent.   Global Force Wrestling presents:  Destination X on Thursday August 17th 2017 LIVE on Pop at 8/7C!   Bruce Prichard will make an announcement regarding The Unified World Heavyweight Championship!   Destination X is an event I look forward to every year.   It should be excellent!   I probably am one of the few people who watched WCW Thunder on Superstation TBS when it moved to Wednesday nights.    I guess because the WWE put Smackdown on Thursday nights.   So WCW moved Thunder to Wednesday nights.   It is never a good idea to put two professional wrestling shows on the same night.   Maybe it worked during the Monday Night Wars.   The first Clash Of Champions was on TBS and went head to head with Wrestlemina 4.  It got a huge rating.   The first Clash Of Champions on TBS took away untold buys from Wrestlemina 4.   But hardcore fans of professional wrestling will watch the WWE everytime.   I think there are hardcore professional wrestling fans who will watch everything.   Which is not the majority of WWE fans.   But I think they do not want to choose.   So it just never a good idea.   The majority of WWE fans are not hardcore professional wrestling.  But I guarantee that all of the fans who watch GWF’s Impact On Pop are hardcore professional wrestling.   I am sure that the majority of fans who watch Impact also watch WWE Monday Night Raw and WWE Smackdown Live on Tuesday nights.   Maybe when WCW was hot in the 1990s there were casual professional wrestling fans who watched because they had to choose.  Unless they watched one and copied the other.    But for the most part hardcore fans do not want to choose.   When Impact went head to head with WWE Monday Night Raw the fans who usually would watch Impact on Thursdays did not want to choose between the two.   They were going to watch Raw.   When it is football season the ratings for Monday Night Raw are down.   Because a majority of fans want to watch the NFL’s Monday night Football.   But for the most part they are fans of both.   For example:   Jim Ross loves professional wrestling but said if he had the option to call football for the Oklahoma Sooners he would prefer to do that. The same with Tony Schiavone he loves professional wrestling but chose to call baseball.   He loves both of them.   I am not against individuals at beginning of a professional wrestling show coming out of a limo.   I know that WCW was guilty of this a lot.   The Nature Boy Ric Flair arrived in a limousine all of the time.   I think it worked for him.   Arriving in a limo also worked for Eric Bischoff.   I am not against it.   But I can understand why some fans would think they miss something.    Which is never a positive thing.     But to me it made me like them or hate them.      Usually the individuals that arrived in a limousine in professional wrestling was used to make the fans angry.   Beulah’s Box was a segment on ECW.  Which was hosted by: Beulah Mcgillicutty.   This segment featured heart shaped box by Nirvana.   Also my favorite theme or entrance music or ECW music video is #1 crush from Garbage.   I guess the only way to explain what professional wrestling is to the general public is that it is a show.   I hate when professional wrestlers are on TV shows.   Because the interviewers always ask the same dumb question is “wrestling fake”.   I am all for mortality but that is the parents job.   If professional wrestling is the worst thing in the world.   Society is doing pretty well.   Or professional wrestlers have to emphasize that they are just playing characters which I am completely against.    Well I would not say I am against it I prefer a different terminology.         But I guess that is the only way to explain it to the media.   But I would argue that CNN and The Five on Fox News is faker then professional Wrestling.   At least when I listen to Rush Limbaugh I know what I am getting.   He is a Regan conservative.   With CNN I have no idea what I am getting.   Or professional wrestlers have to tell the media that it is a Soap Opera.   To me the mainstream media is more of an issue.   I think professional wrestling is the most unique art form there is.   To me because it is such a unique art form the individuals who work in the industry of professional wrestling cannot let those unique aspects go.    I try to not let the mainstream media bother me because it is bogus.   I think I am going to just go through life aloof.   I think I am doing pretty well with that.   But I do not want to be as closed off like I tend to be.      I think of myself as moral person.   But there will be some fundamental Christians who will criticize me.    There is right and wrong.   People can judge me it does not bother me.    I just want to dream about Swedish Erotica.    I think Swedish Erotica movies can be found only on Betamax.    Swedish Erotica just sounds interring to me.   It sounds excellent.   If something makes me feel guilty I am not interesting.   The bad thing about this topic individuals take it to extremes.   But sometimes I just have to trust my instincts.   I do not even have a Betamax video tape machine.    Or own any Swedish Erotica series.    But I would not mind to do so.      Which is some vintage Christy Canyon!   I feel like in life you can not waste your time thinking about what might happen.   It is like if a kid without a parent present watches professional wrestling on TV and he sees The Sandman hit an opponent with a barbwire baseball bat.   The kid hits his brother with a sledgehammer.   He kills him.   That is a tragedy.   But that is the parents fault.   Because they did not have a parent to explain to them what they are watching.    I heard some fans say well professional wrestling is real life not like a movie.   But in that case professional wrestling is not real life.   I do not like comparing professional wrestling to a movie but it is not real life.       I think Paul Heyman said it best on MSNBC when he said I find the news to be a hell of a lot more violent than professional wrestling.   Which is simulated violence.      He said he remembers watching Walter Cronkite broadcast the Vietnam War when he was a kid.      I think Paul sums that up perfectly.   Especially when the show is rated TV 14.   I remember watching interviews with Bret and Owen Hart when they both said they did not let their kids watch the show.       Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers performed a version of the classic song something in the air.   Which is available on Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Greatest Hits.   Something in the air has been covered by many musicians including: David Bowie.   But it was originally recorded by Thunderclap Newman.   Waves is another excellent song from Juliana Hateflied.   I would have never thought this song is about Juliana dealing with depression.   The only reason I know I read her memoir When I grow up.   Juliana says in the memoir her writing songs is a way of dealing with and making sense of her depression.   Because it makes her confessed.   I not only love Juliana’s music.   I respect her openness and honesty.   When you are a public figure or a common person that leads to a bunch of criticism.   People are not shy to criticize at first glance.   Most of the time they form their opinions on conjecture or how they feel.   With all of that I find it to be extremely difficult to find those supporters.   Those are the people I want to give my time!   Most of them I can do without.   I just wish they were easier to find.   Because those individuals that support and have a connection whatever the product.   I really want to give back my appreciation.   So that is why I have such admiration for individuals like Juliana.   Vitamin C is another one of my favorite musicians she was in an alternative rock band called Eve’s Plump.      Vitamin C started out as a dancer.   I guess Vitamin C went into a more pop or hip-hop direction.     With her first two solo albums Vitamin C and More.   My favorite song on Vitamin C’s first solo album is called me myself and I.   It is a great music video.   Smile is another one of my favorite songs from Vitamin C.   From Vitamin’s C follow up solo album More.   My favorite songs are itch and as long as you’re loving me.   All of these songs have a hip-hop sort of feel to them.   As long as you’re loving me is more of a pop song it is a love song.   I like a lot Vitamin C stuff.   She is quite sexy! Here is an example: the itch song and dance from her album More.   When I think about it Eve’s Plump and Vitamin C’s solo material it is completely different.   I love a lot of Eve’s Plump’s songs.  My favorite songs from Eve’s Plump are Jesus loves you and I want it all.   I love when Vitamin C screams on I want it all.   She may not have been known as Vitamin C at the time.    She may have been going by her real name Collen Fitzpatrick.     But I want it all has really loud and crisp guitars.   I love Eve’s Plump song cherry alive.   This song is just really well done.    The name of the album is Envy.   I love Vitamin C’s vocals and voice.   It is very raw and sensual.     I love Eve’s Plump’s song blue as well.   One more of my favorite songs from Vitamin C’s solo material is called real life.   From her second solo album More.   I feel like on this follow up album More Vitamin C goes more in a sexual direction.   Which I have no problem.     Vitamin C is now The President of music for Nickelodeon.   I am a believer that a person cannot force art.   It is ether there at a certain time or it is not.   I knew of Vitamin C when she was popular.   I saw some of her music videos on The Box Music Network. Which became MTV 2.   But I did not really discover her music until years later on youtube.   I have grown to appreciate both Vitamin C and Eve’s Plump.   It is not just bubble gum pop as they say it is really good.   There are times where I cannot believe it is the same person.   Eve’s Plump and Vitamin C which was her solo material.   It shows her diversity.   There are certain parts of songs where I can hear similarities between Eve’s Plump and Vitamin C. But for the most part    it shows that Vitamin C is a hybrid.   One of my favorite Vitamin C songs is called master of disguise.   This song has a hip-hop vibe to it that I love.   Vitamin C said in an interview that Vitamin C is like a separate identity.    I prefer Eve Plump over Vitamin C.   But I enjoy Vitamin C and Eve’s Plump.     Now I think that explains my dilemma when disscuing music.   I think most individuals are blessed to just like a certain type of music.   I have a very diverse taste in music.   I think I told this story many times on this project.   But I think it is a good story.   When I was nine years old I was very angry sad and felt very alienated I still do in some ways.     Then I discovered rock’n roll at that same time and I never looked back.  Rock’n roll saved my life.   Or it gave me reassurance that I am not so alone.   There is a reason there are so many suicides taking place.   I know   because individuals feel like they have no hope.   They are feeling more and more alone.   Juliana Hateflied in her memoir When I grow up she says one of the reasons she writes songs and performs music so her fans do not feel so alone as they do and so she does not feel as alone as she does.   It sucks for individuals like me who are pretty aloof.   Going through life aloof makes my life easier.   But it is hard to make that connection.   But that is why so many suicides are taking place.   Really individuals only have one or two friends.   But I like going through life aloof.   Because it is easier to do so.      But that is not the way human beings are supposed to go through life.     I truly hate to talk about suicide.   But it is epidemic that is taking place.   One of the reasons for this epidemic individuals are losing hope and feeling more and more alone.   I want this project to be fun.   But there are things really personal things that I have discussed in this project.   I think it is good for me to do so.   Sometimes I tell personal stories about what I learned growing up in my life.   What I have learned and how I have grown from it.   I discuss hobbies that I have that I love.   Turning points in my life.    Which I have discussed a little bit.       I have told stories about how I discovered musicians and bands that have become my favorites.   For example: my Bon Jovi story may not mean anything to anyone else.   But it means something to me and I hope to the individuals in the story.      That story is available on section 2.   I have to make a correction when I disused professional wrestling legends who were not successful or as successful in the WWE.   Which is available on the first section of this project.      The American Dream Dusty Rhodes was repackage in the WWE.   But he did impress the gimmick.   So Dusty may have enjoyed the gimmick.   I apologize.   Dusty impressed the son of a plumber gimmick.  Unlike Terry Taylor who did not impress the Red Rooster gimmick in the WWE.   I may have strong opinions but I never want to make opinions just based on my feelings or conjecture.   Now I may still have the opinion about The Invasion angle.   I have no doubt that Vince K. Mccmhon loves the game.   I think Vince Mccmhon wanted to bury WCW and ECW by putting them together.   I had no problem that Stephanie Mccmhon was the new owner of ECW during the invasion angle.    In fact when Stephanie was the ECW owner during the invasion angle I was rooting for ECW over the WWE.    But why would someone feel the need to put them together?   Why WCW and ECW could not have been a group by themselves?   I understand that the WWE did not have access to the so called “top stars” of WCW at the time so they added ECW to mix.   I do think and this is just my opinion based on just being a fan and nothing else.   I feel in some cases most of the time if someone was not created in the WWE the WWE does not know what to do with them.   But that is not true in all cases some guys get a spot and they make most of what they were given.   Or they far exceed what they are given.   To me a prime example of this Diamond Dallas Page or DDP.   Granted DDP is in the WWE Hall Of Fame.   Diamond Dallas Page was extremely successful in WCW.   He became a three time WCW heavyweight champion.   DDP was known in WCW as: The People Champion.   I like the idea of People’s Champion VS. People’s Champion.   Because The Rock was the people’s champion in the WWE.       But DDP regrets even going to the WWE.   Because in his words for two years WCW was the enemy.       I think Raven is another example of someone who I think was successful in ECW.   But when Raven went to the WWE all of what he had done in the past was non existed.   Scott Leavy said that when he was in WCW he knew that he had to protect his character because he knew he did not have Paul Heyman to protect his character.     I think maybe that word non existed illustrates my opinion.   It does not matter what is done in other places.   Individuals in the WWE are given a clean slate.   Or their history in other places are erased.   I am not saying that being given a clean slate is wrong.   I am not a fan of this philosophy.   The WWE is the NFL.   But I think Vince K. Mccmhon can be extremely vindictive when it comes to certain individuals that were successful elsewhere.   Or vindictive to the talent the WWE did not create.    Or that the WWE did not make in their own image.   There are exceptions especially in recent years!   Which I think is a step in the right direction.   The WWE’s developmental system NXT in Orlando Florida is extremely successful.   NXT is a successful brand in its own right.   Thanks to WWE’s Executive Vice President of talent Triple H.   He should be commend for the talent he has helped develop.   AJ Styles is the WWE Champion on Smackdown LIVE right now.   But that still does not change my opinion.    It is probably much easier to have homegrown talent in your company.  Because that way you do not to worry about their past history.   Which appeals to the causal fans.   Not the so called marks.    Which is why the WWE is successful.   Because they are able to appeal to the causal fans.   That is not a knock on Vince K. McMahon’s character or a knock on Vince Mcmahon personally.   I think he is a great person.   Vince goes above and beyond taking care of his talent.   But that still does not change my opinion about the WWE’s presentation or style.   The WWE has an unbelievable wellness policy.    I am not going to drive a tank up to Titan Towers in Stafford Connecticut.    Well maybe because I love professional wrestling so much it comes across that way. But it is not personal in a harmful way.   Or in a vindictive personal way.    It’s still real to me damn it!    Titan Towers in Connecticut is probably a much more well run machine than the offices of Global Force Wrestling Impact in Nashville Tennessee/Toronto Ontario Canada.    Bruce Prichard compared working in Titan Towers to the Wolfe House.       In my opinion Vince brought back ECW so fans would stop chanting ECW.   I think he thought “alright you want ECW I will give you ECW”.   Thankfully he failed!   I do not like to criticize the WWE and this makes it almost seem personal to me I am not really sure how anyone who was working in the WWE offices at the time could defend this decision.   When the WWE takes a product that I loved and reforms it in their own image you’re damn right I take it personally!    I think Vince did not understand why fans would chant ECW at WWE live events.    It made him angry.    Why else would Vince Mcmahon make himself ECW Champion?   I know it was his MR. Mcmahon persona or character.     I get it.     But Vince is not stupid.   You cannot tell me that he is that naïve!   He knows exactly what he is doing.   That to me is the vindictive side of Vince K.  Mccmhon.    Or if you want to look at it a different way why the WWE is so successful.    I think Vince is a brilliant business man.    The former owner of ECW for example: Paul Heyman was just the opposite I think he is extremely creative and innovative but not a great business man.   In other words you cannot be all things to all people.   But again I cannot make this clear enough my opinion does not harbor any ill will.      I think because I have such a strong opinion on this people think I hate the individuals who work in the WWE.   But I would hope the people who really know me know that is not true.   I can separate my opinion which all it is just a differences of opinion.   But still appreciate the WWE for not only giving their talent opportunities that they may not get elsewhere.   But also using their resources to care for their talent.   I also hope that I have made it clear that for the business to prosper and to be healthy there needs to be other places to work.   Because the WWE is not the place for everyone to prosper.   Talents are reasonable for their gimmicks or personas connecting with fans.   What makes professional wrestling so unique not just anyone can take a gimmick or a persona and make it successful.   Most of the time it takes a booker or a writer to just give a talent that freedom.   Eli Drake became the new Global Champion by winning a 20 Gauntlet match.   This took place on 8/24/17 Impact presented by GFW.   Eli Drake is money he should be an excellent Global Champion!   I am glad to see   Taryn Terrell back to GFW Impact.     I loved Taryn Terell when she was leader of The Dollhouse.   I am disgusted how critical certain individuals can be.    Someone said it looked like Taryn lost her religion.   That is completely uncalled.   How do you know to make such a comment?   Taryn may still be a christan.   Religion is a complicated issue.   Also a very personal issue.   I just think some people need to be told to shut up.   I consider myself to be a christan but I can see how some individuals would doubt it.   Based on of some my hobbies that is alright.   I am glad to see Taryn back in GFW.   Rebel is my favorite GFW Knockout.   But I am a fan of Taryn‘s persona or gimmick.   Anyway I do not like that kind of judgement.   In fact that is why certain people are cynical when it comes to any kind of religion.   People judge induvial who are adult film stars maybe those kind of christans should look in the mirror.   It is unfortunate.   Here is the issue if they do not like something indivuals can find a different option for their entertainment.   In any regard they have a right to their opinions.   I am not done with this finding religion thing I do not see christans like Taryn Terell as part of the problem I see people who make  ignorant comments like that.   What are you supposed to do when you become religious?    Are you supposed to just stop living your life?      I do not think so.   Bobby Roode made his WWE debut on Smackdown LIVE this past Tuesday night on August 25th 2017.      Bobby Roode is one of the best chain wrestlers I have seen.   He is the finest wrestler in the business right now.   Up there with William Regal who is the best chain wrestler I have ever seen.       A true masterful technician that Bobby Roode is.    I think Bobby will be a guy that will take the opportunity that the WWE has given him.   I think guaranteed contacts in the professional wrestling were the best thing to happen to the business.   Because prior to the year of 1996 if a professional wrestler did not work a match they were secluded to have they did not get paid.   If they were injured professional wrestlers still had to perform.   Or they got paid based on how much money they drew.   Or crowd size.   It was not until WCW Vice President at the time Eric Bischoff offered guaranteed contracts to both Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.   Both of them were in the WWE at the time.   Kevin Nash went to WWE Chairman Vince K. Mccmhon and asked him if he could match the offer and he would stay with the WWE.   Because Kevin Nash and Scott Hall did not want to leave the WWE.   Vince could not match the offer.    They both left the WWE.   With the promise of guaranteed money.   About a year later the WWE started offering their talent guaranteed contracts.   Why this was a turning point it was the first time ever in the history of the business that no matter what professional wrestlers were going to get paid based on their contracts they signed.   The promise of guaranteed money in the professional wrestling business was unheard of before that time.   I cannot even fathom that.   But anything that makes the business better for those who participate in it or for those who make their living in it I support.   That also goes for the wellness policy of the WWE.   Which is more through than the wellness policy of the NFL.   Johnny Impact also known as: Johnny Nitro and John Morrison made his GFW Impact debut this past Thursday night on August 24th 2017.   I think the six-sided ring is an adjustment for Johnny Impact.   He said that the best thing about the six-sided ring he can use more innovate offense.   Johnny said the ropes in a six-side ring are a little less stable then in a square ring.   Because it is not a square the ring is not at a 90 degree angle.   The only real criticism of the six-side ring there are more injures that take place.   Which I hate I want the individuals who participate in professional wrestling to be safe.   So that is a negative.   There was a poll at Impact Wrestling.com where they asked the fans which ring they preferred.   So I do worry about their safety.   But I am sure that the individuals who work in GFW have made adjustments accordingly.   The business of professional wrestling has not been the same since WCW closed their doors in 2001.   It really had an unseen negative impact on the business.   It was just better for the business when there were two companies that were in the same or a similar position financially.      Where a promotor from either company could offer talent guarantee contracts.   I wish it was just my opinion.    But it is a fact.    GFW Impact is great I just hope they prosper and survive.   I know GFW Impact does not have much recognizable talent right now.   Which is a problem.   Because I would like to see GFW Impact grow from just the niche fans.   Which will always be there.   I do not think a company can just keep their talent who eventually will become recognizable stars.   Because the WWE brand is recognized with wrestling and just mainstream entertainment.   I do not think it matters who is on the WWE roster at any given time.   Because the brand of WWE is stronger than any talent.   But I hope GFW Impact Ring Of Honor and House Hardcore etc succeeded.   I am not sure professional wrestling will ever be has popular has it was during the Monday Night Wars.   But I still hope that there will be other companies out there other than the WWE.   Because not everyone will make it to the WWE.   Much like most football players not all of them will make it to the NFL.   I am not sure if GFW Impact will ever go past the niche faze.   I hope it does.   But I am at a point now where I think GFW Impact is a company where talent can get exposure and be on television.   In that respect GWF Impact is much like the WWE.   I think it would be a negative not a positive for GFW Impact to try and compete with the WWE.   What I think GWF Impact is and is trying to be another platform for professional wrestlers to apply their trade.   There will be some fans and individuals who will not be satisfied until GFW Impact is on the same leave with the WWE.   But I do not think that will ever happen.   TNA Impact {which was what GFW was known as at the time tried to compete with the WWE on Monday nights to their credit.   At the time I was angry out of my mind.   But looking back I give Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan credit for going for it.   But I think the fans and the industry of professional wrestling has changed since the Monday Night Wars.   In this respect I think GFW Impact only appeals to the niche faze.   The niche faze that watched Monday night Raw every week were not going to change their viewing habits.   They were going to watch TNA Impact only if it were on a different night.   I am never of the opinion that when indviuals leave a company that the company will not survive without them.   Because no matter how good you are talents will eventually get burned out.   Also fans get tired of a product as well.   In others words professional wrestlers have a run it might last a year or 3 months then they go away for a while.     A wrestling newsletter will never report John Cena is leaving the WWE the WWE will not survive.   One of the main reasons John Cena is called the best of all time.   He has constantly been the top of guy of the WWE for the past 12 years. He has constantly been in a top spot.     That is unheard of in the wrestling business.   Maybe Ric Flair and Jerry Lawler in Memphis can claim this.   But those examples I mentioned were on top for so long of their respected territories I do mean this in disrespectful way I think fans grew tired of them.   I think no matter how much fans love you or hate you everyone has a shelve life.   Especially in the business where there is no off season.   I hope I have made clear that I am not a fan of insider type wrestling newsletters.   But I unfortunaly have not found a way to avoid them.   I do not even subscribe to one or pay for one.   I still cannot get away from them.   But I really truly hate them!   Vince K. Mccmhon coming out and saying professional wrestling is sports entertainment I am cool.   Because industry may not be around if he did not do so.   I loved the stadiums that ECW had some of their bigger events such as: pay-per-views etc.   The ECW arena that is located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania is an iconic building it was a bingo hall.   But a lot of history took place in that building.   I am referring to ECW when they started to get more exposure.   Buildings such as: Hammerstein Ballroom in New City.   The Rave in Milwaukee Wisconsin.   The   Asberry Park Convention Hall in Asbury Park New Jersey.   Which was normally a hockey rink.   The November To Remember which was ECW flagship event.   Much like Wrestlemina is to the WWE.   Or Bound For Glory is to GFW Impact The venue for ECW’s November To Remember event in 1999 took place in The Burt Flicker Center in Buffalo New York.   These halls or stadiums may not look as glamorous as an arena where a WWE event take place.   But to me these building looked to me to be on grander scale because the fans were so into the events.   The ECW fans were a part of a revolution.   In my opinion the Attitude Era in the WWE came about as a result of the ECW Revolution.   Maybe the WWE chairman Vince K.  Mcmahon Vince Russo and Bruce Prichard disagree.    No other company will ever be on the same position financially as the WWE with an exception of WCW when Ted Tunner purchased the company.        I love those auditoriums in which ECW had their events.   I prefer those over the arenas in which the WWE events take place.      In my opinion the thing to remember about the WWE all there events are is a big huge production.  House Of Hardcore runs some of the auditoriums that ECW used to run their events.   This is just a preference I have.    I will give the WWE the benefit of the doubt.   Like I have said countless times none of this is personal.   GFW has been revamp the look is different.   The ropes are green which I have no issue.   Because in the WWE the ropes for Monday Night Raw are red.   The ropes for Smackdown Live are blue.   The ropes for NXT are yellow.   The reason I bring this up I read many fans who were critical of the color of the ropes.   GFW’s ring is a hexagon.   I think because the GFW’s logo is green.   So I think that maybe a reason for ropes being green.   But I do get why that bothers anybody.   If you are fan you are a fan.   I am a lifer for GFW Impact.    I mean that in the most positive way.   It seems odd to me that Jim Cornette is back in GFW Impact because he has been extremely critical of GFW’s Impact product in the past.   I am a huge fan of Bruce Prichard but if Jim Cornette’s presents gets more fans interested in the GFW Impact product I am  all for it.   I am a huge fan of Jim Cornette it was truly a surprise to see him back in GFW Impact.   Change is good sometimes.   The NFL evolves the WWE evolves I am usually not fan of change but things and life evolves.   While I am on this kick I am not a fan of the way the NFL is evolving.   I wish the NFL would stop mixing football with politics.   That is one of the reasons I feel the ESPN is struggling.   No one wants their sports mixed with politics.   Football should be an escape from politics.   Leave politics out of football.   I am all for the NFL making adjustments to protect their players.   But most of this seems to be political to me.   But I always want to give people the benefit of the doubt.   But it has come to a point where I cannot do it anymore.    I think there are people who have it in for football.   I thought liberals and conservatives it does not matter I thought they all were football fans.   Or fans of the NFL.   I thought while watching football they could leave their political differences aside.   But I can only dr@am.   Leave football alone!   I am not talking about concussions or anything like that.   But that is not the agenda here.   Raven said in an interview he had more control of his character in ECW and WCW then he did in TNA.   Which I find odd.   I knew he had control of his character in ECW.   Because Raven had help from Paul Heyman.   That is not a knock on Raven because ECW is where the raven character was created.  I think a gimmick like Raven he should have the most control.   Mick Foley said that when he was in ECW working with Paul Heyman helped him later on when he would did promos in the WWE.   The aspect I find odd I thought Raven would have had more control of his character in TNA.   I am going to back to a point I made earlier in this section where I said in professional wrestling it is almost impossible to keep your talent in the same spot.   That is what happens when talent become recognizable starts.   I am not an expert of any kind.   Nor do I clam to be.    I could be dead wrong about this.   This is just a prospective from me who has followed the product for years.   AJ Styles is a prime example of this.   AJ after he left TNA in 2014 he goes to Japan.   The reason he did this he realized that he had to refine his skills.   Then in 2015 he sings with the WWE.    AJ went down to WWE’s developmental territory NXT in Florida.   Then the next year AJ made his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble.   Now AJ Styles in my opinion is the best professional wrestler in the world.   I would put Bobby Roode in the same category.   But there styles are competly different.   I would like to know what someone else’s thoughts are on this.   In section 2 of this project in my opinion a promotion can not feel as though they need a talent or they will not survive.   But I would like to know someone else thoughts are on this.   Because I would like to learn.   I love professional wrestling.   I will always be a fan.   No matter what happens.   I may not follow everything that closely.   I love that Jim Cornette is writing books on professional wrestling.   Because he is trying preserve what he feels makes professional wrestling such a unique performance art form.  Because in Jim’s words “you can’t let that be mowed down and pasteurized by “corporate America”.   What MR. Cornette is referring are aspects that make professional wrestling unique.   But I would like to have a different prospective about what happens when professional wrestlers become bigger starts.   Because I feel that in the business a promoter cannot keep their talent in the same position forever.   As much of a fan as I clam to be.   I have never worked in the professional wrestling business.   I can learn and form opinions on professional wrestling.   But I have never worked in it.   So I am at a disadvantage.   But I still love the game!   I guess it did matter during the Monday Night Wars who was on a roster at any given time.   But I think that was a moment in time.   This was a time when Lance Storm The Franchise Shane Douglas and Mike Awesome left ECW for WCW.   I remember watching ECW On TNN on a Friday night.   The next Monday I turned into WCW Monday Nitro and saw Mike Awesome put a guy through a table.   Why this was surprising to me at the time Mike Awesome was the ECW Heavyweight Champion at the time.      In professional wrestling I know that a company needs recognizable talent to get the casual fans interested in it.   Doing that you use the recognize talent to give the “rub” to a great worker.   Which is an induvial who is not well known but is great in ring.   To WWE’s credit they mastered this.   But for me as a fan I do not think about I just think about the great in ring workers.   Which I have been criticized for not really care name recognize but it something unfortunaly must be dealt.   Eli Drake is the Global Champion.   Who is a homegrown talent in GFW Impact.   Which I think is an excellent move.   Because I am tired of just former WWE guys getting pushed just because they are former WWE guys.   I am saying you do not need those recognizable stars but GFW Impact has to make homegrown talent.   Eli Drake defended his GFW Global Impact Championship against the challenge of Matt Sydal who deafened Bobby Lashley at Destination X.   Many have called Lashley the most dominate world champion in GFW Impact history.   Matt Sydal did it!   This past Thursday night September 7th 2017 on Pop in what was a classic matchup.   Eli Drake retained his GFW Impact Global Championship by defending Matt Sydal in what was an instant classic.   Matt Sydal proved himself to be more than worthy against Eli Drake.   The reason in professional wrestling the term run is used it will not last forever.   A run only lasts for a certain amount of time.   Tom Brady will have a run as a quarterback.   Maybe many runs.   I have enjoyed Rosemary since she made her GFW Impact debut last year.   The whole thing with Rosemary and Decay was really cool.   But the fact that Rosemary defended GFW Impact was really an excellent gesture.   Most of the time it is kind of a waste of time to respond to the “trolls” but Rosemary did it well.   A fan asked the question which is horse shit when is the WWE going to snatch her up?     I love what she said if you want to support us watch GFW Impact.   Also she asked how does not watching the product help us if you care about us like you say you do?   I agree she asked why don’t you support the company we are currently work?   Another excellent point.   Rosemary also said no one in GFW Impact is forced to sign a contract.   I will say Rosemary handled this extremely well.   I have been a fan of Rosemary since she debuted last year in GFW Impact I try to ignore crap like this because to me it is just not worth it.   But it is amusing that when these “trolls” on the internet are called out they back track or they cower.   I am more of a fan of Rosemary after this exchange!   Rosemary also expressed something I wish more fans would focus more on the on screen product then what goes on backstage they might enjoy the product like they once did?     I agree I do not even like how many fans discuss the product.   It is just ridiculous!   There is no such thing as a fan who is a “smart fan”.   I love when something is on the internet or in newsletter and they backtrack what they reported.   The newsletter or what is on a website will say well because we reported it they changed their plans.   I do not know I guess the individuals who report on the internet and write a newsletter are fans I just do not like what they do.   Taya Valkyrie made her GFW Impact debut on Thursday September 8th 2017.   Taya has made an impact in both Lucha Underground and AAA in Mexico.   So I am not really familiar with her.   But I am impressed by her entrance and her in ring debut this past Thursday night on Impact on Pop.   She gorgeous and powerful.   Because I am not   familiar with Taya there is probably a lot in her arsenal.   I hope she challenges for the GFW Impact Knockouts Championship in the near future.   I really would like to go to an AAA event in Mexico.   The fans in Mexico are respectful and love the business.   The six side ring looks natural.   The fans in the United States seem jaded and extremely disrespectful.   I think there are a couple fans who try to take over the show or want to be bigger than the show.   They are downright rude.   People ask me do you want to go to a WWE event when they are in town?   But I would rather go to an AAA event.   Because of what RoseMary did on reddit by defending Impact Wrestling I will love her forever.   Sometime I wish more in the company would do so. But again I understand why they do not.   But I do get a kick out of the trolls back tracking when they are challenged.   Because they can be tough asses siting by their keyboard.   I wonder and the reason it is extremely important.   This is a question to ponder is there a differences between being a progressive and being a liberal or have both of the words morphed into everything associated with the left?   I think both words have being taken over by the left.   I am not old enough to remember this but it used to be if someone identified as a liberal that was a bad word.   But I have a theory that both of these terms have been corrupted by the left.   But the point I want to make these terms matter and being specific is extremely important.   For example: I have voted republican in the past three presidential elections but I am not sure I could be specific because I still am not sure yet about my political views in terms of ideology.   But what I think is the most important is how the left is negatively affecting our culture.   That is what is the most important aspect because what the left is doing will affect everything they touch.   A lot of times when it comes to the subject of politics it is seen between republican and democrat.   But I hope that more people like me see the bigger picture which is a battle against the left for the future of the United States Of America.   I hope that more people understand what the left is doing is wrong.   I hope they do not get distracted on issues that do not mater.   Which is one reason I do not like disscuing politics.   But this is way too important!   The main reason people usually do not discuss politics with their friends they focus on what they disagree and not on what they agree.   Because the problem with the left is they never stop.   I just think people should focus on the things they agree. Hopefully not focusing on what they disagree.   I guess I can play a game and say how far left do you want to go?   Because I hope that there are liberals who disagree with what is going.   I know that this country right now is divided in every way which is by design.   Because of what happened previously.      But I hope there are more issues that bring us together then divide the country.   I know that it is difficult to imagine but I know in my heart it is true.   If it is not true this country has no hope of survival.   There is a reason to put labels on things.   Whether it is algebra or a type of paint.   But I think people get too caught up in labels as well.   But I am not for not for no labels because labels in politics show that individuals have principles.   It is those who want no labels are the ones who do not have or who are uncertain of their principles.   The Global Champion Eli Drake and Johnny Impact had an excellent match for the Global Championship at Victory Road on Thursday September 28th 2017.   Eli Drake retained his Global Championship against Johnny Impact.   Johnny came extremely close several times during this match.   Referees were taken out in this match.   That is why I think Johnny had Eli Drake beat.   But the whole event was awesome.   Taya Valkyrie with Taryn Terell and Sienna faced Hall Of Famer Gail Kim Allie and RoseMary which was another excellent tag team match.   I am really looking forward to seeing more of Taya Valkyrie she is one of my new favorite Knockouts in Impact Wrestling.   When politicians say the rich should pay their fair share what they really should say is tax the successful not tax the rich.   Because the majority of the people in this country are not rich they are successful.   Basically higher taxes are punishing achievement.   I do not understand punishing achievement.   It does not make any sense to me.    I think higher taxes punish those who go out there and take risks.   Or those who have archive something.   Because most people who have archive something were not born rich.   They usually for the most part came from nothing.   So I think higher taxes are pushing those who have achieve something and rewarding those who choice not to achieve.   I am not referring to those who are unable to work.   I referring to those who choose not to work.   It is not moral for those who sacrifice their time that they could be spending time with their families.   Or their hobbies and their dreams.   The main reason what is happening in the NFL matters it effects what is happening in the culture.   The left understands that in order to get control they have to go after the culture.   The left has now targeted the NFL.   So when people ask me why does what is going on in the NFL matter?   Because it all impacts the culture.   The left is everywhere in culture most people are unaware of it.   Politics is everywhere not just in the news.   In churches the left is using the church to get their agenda passed.   Terms such as: economic justice social justice are key words to know if any religious organization is using left wing politics in religion.   I love professional wrestling from Memphis Wrasslin or Memphis Wrasslin I just love that style.   I am not saying everyone who worked in Memphis worked the same style because they did not.   But the style and the presentation is what fans of professional wrestling in Memphis loved.    Which may not have worked everywhere.   But looking back at that era it was excellent stuff.   I see what is going on in this country politically and the culturally between traditional Americans and secular progressives.   Not between democrats and republicans.   If you want to call it a battle between liberals and conservatives I get it.   But it is a battle for the culture and for the future of The United States Of America.   Or it is a battle between traditional Americans and secular progressives.   It has been going on for a long time but has only intensified.   Identity politics is an exterme dangerous game to play.    Unfortunaly identity politics is being reinforced in education.   For example: if someone says as a “black woman I feel”.   What a miserable existence they must have if everything in your life has to do with or goes back to your skin color.   Or your sexual ordination if that is the only aspect that matters to a person I am thinking what a miserable existence that must be.   That to me is an unfulfilled life.   I really am thankful to Rosemary for not only sticking up and supporting GFW Impact but sticking up for Impact’s fans as well!     Which I truly am.     I want to do what I can to show my support for her.   I have such admiration for her.   The Global Wrestling Network is available now!     It should be awesome I have high hopes for this network.    I am really looking forward to the GWN network.   Some of the critics of Impact have said all of their top stars are gone.   But that does not mean Impact cannot continue to develop new stars such as: The Global Champion Eli Drake.   Also Impact now has as a working relationship with promotions such as: AAA and Crash Lucha Libre etc.   I am not sure if that appeals to the casual fans but I am intrigued.   I am not sure what appeals to the casual fans I wish I did.   I know that I am considered to in the minority or the niche.     When it comes to being a professional wrestling fan and my other hobby rock’n roll.   Last night on Impact On Pop Johnny Impact deafened Garza Junior to determine the #1 contender to the Global Champion Eli Drake at the biggest wrestling event of the year Bound For Glory LIVE for first time in Ottawa Ontario Canada   on November 5th 2017.   Eli Drake defends The Global Championship against Johnny Impact is the main event at Bound For Glory LIVE on November 5th 2017.   Eli Drake is a great Global Champion.   He is excellent on the stick.   Which means he cuts great promos naturally.   Many fans have compared Eli Drake’s promo style to The Rock.   I compare Eli Drake’s mic skills to The King Jerry Lawler.   99 leftballons this song was originally recorded in German.   99 leftballons became a #1 hit in the United States.   Nena released a version of the song in English called 99 red balloons.   But it did not even make it on any musical chart.   99 leftballons was featured in the movie Boogie Nights.   Nena was truly a one hit wonder the band never had another #1 hit anywhere in the world.    But the band Nena is still performing around the world.   Some critics have said that the song 99 leftballons was only popular because the front woman Gabriele Kermer was pretty it helped but I think 99 leftballons is still a great song with a memorable beat and keyboards.   I prefer the Germany version called 99 leftballons.   I am not sure why I do not like the English version of the song.     But neither did the majority of individuals in America.   But it is more than awesome that Gabriele and Nena are still out there performing.   I have often wondered is Nena a stage name of Gabriele’s or is it the name of the band?   But Gabriele still looks amazing.   I know that some of my political views seem to be conspiratorial I believe that in the United States we do not have a two party system but a one party system.   Because most of the republicans in the party are basically democrat like.   There are a few republicans that are different but for most part they are the same.   No I am not saying we need a third party.   What we need is an exchange of ideas.   Because I am so anti-left I will never vote for a democrat.   I am not all across the board conservative.      I have some liberal viewpoints.   I will never vote for a republican just because they are republicans.   But if I lived in a state where I had to register for a political party I would register as a republican.   I just feel like it would be a waste to register as an independent because I never see myself ever vote for a democrat.   Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie main evented Impact On Pop on October 19th 2017.   In what was an excellent matchup between the two.   This was the first ever encounter between the two.   Rosemary was the first person Taya Valkyrie attached when she made her Impact debut.   Taya refers to herself as Lucha Royalty.   She is a former AAA Women’s Champion.   I think the two of them will have a match at Bound For Glory on Sunday November 5th 2017.   This year’s Bound For Glory will take place for the first time ever Ottawa Ontario Canada.   I think it will be an excellent event.   I hope the fans will love and be appreciative of the talent.    I hope they will be enthusiastic and will enjoy Impact’s biggest event of the year.   During Led Zeppelin’s tenure the band had only a total of eight albums.   But this to me is the most telling thing about Led Zeppelin six of those eight albums were #1 albums.   That to me shows the amazing influence that Led Zeppelin had.   Because it does not seem like they were around that long but Led Zeppelin has this massive legacy.    Cream is a group that was not around that long.   But many musicans and bands will sight Cream being an influence on them.   I mentioned in earlier sections that I am a huge fan of Racheal Perry who used to work for VH1.   She also worked for a short time on Adam Carolla’s radio show for a short time.   I do not think The Adam Carolla  Show was the best place for Racheal to flourish.   Because Teresa Strasser did an excellent job.   I just do not like the hatred I see for Racheal Perry.   I really wish more people would let things go that they do not like.   Because no one forces them to listen or watch anything they do not like.   I just find it to be a waste of time and energy.   But I am just going by what I see because I am a fan of Racheal Perry.   She seems like a rock’n roll lover as I am.   When I mentioned in an earlier about not taking rock legends for granted I would put Tom Pretty in that category.   I was very fortunate to have been introduced to a ton of wonderful classic rock.   I loved game shows such as: Rock’n Roll Jeopardy and Beat The Geeks.   The reason with those game shows I actually received information on topics that I cared.   I could not get that type of information anywhere else.   Other than those two game shows.   Even though Rock’n Roll Jeopardy and Beet The Geeks were not around that long.   But both of those shows had and continue to have a positive impact on me.   I wish that there were outlets like those at this time.   I think now at this point in time I would be considered an old school professional wrestling fan.   The reason why I say this the way I see fans discuss and talk about professional wrestling.   To say I despise    it would understatement.   Part of what I love about professional wrestling is the mystery of it.   Think about that the mystery for a moment the mystery.      But unfortunaly it seems a majority of fans on the internet try to be the smartest person on the net.    Or they care more about what is going on behind the scenes and are not focuses on the in ring product and the angles that are happening.   That is why a majority of fans do not enjoy the product.   Because they think they are smarter than the individuals in charge.   I do not know how to erase this trend.   What I love to focuses on the in ring product and the angles.   The wonderful aspect of this there is a new group of wrestling fans who have not been exposed to newsletters and the like.   But if that is the way certain fans prefer to view the product there is nothing I can do about it.   But I truly despise it.   I have become more of a wrestling fan still.   Eli Drake is a one of kind Global Champion.   Bound For Glory is taking place this year for the first time in Ottawa Ontario Canada it is going to an excellent event no matter what happens.   Even the wrestling journalist are now turning on the WWE.   The WWE is the NFL of professional wrestling/sports entertainment.   I do not like that either.  Weather newsletters are critical of Impact Wrestling or the WWE I am not a supporter of that either.      I really think when that happens it is time to stop.    Turning on the WWE cannot happen because without the WWE there is no business.     But the best thing about wrestling fans they are truly some of the most loyal fans in the world.   Also and this is what I see being the most important aspect of all of this the individuals who work in the business have families.   I think Christan Cage’s TNA Impact’s run was the best run he had.   Christan probably hates that I would have this opinion. But it was his best run in my opinion.   The way the business of professional wrestling was originally structured it was all run by local promoters.   It was all local business.   Vince K. Mccmhon was the first person to take the business from just a regionally promotion to a national promotion.   When that happened the whole business changed.   The problem became many promoters did not want to change their business practices and they failed.   I think one of the reasons why the promoters did not adapt that times were changing.   Maybe Vince K. Mccmhon saw that and maybe Verne Gagne the owner of the AWA did not.   I think of myself as a dying breed of wrestling fan.   Because of the comments I read about how wrestling fans discuss the product.     I do not think any other form of entertainment is dissected like professional wrestling/sports entertainment.   If people viewed a movie like many do with professional wrestling they would not enjoy it at all.   When individuals in the business discuss professional wrestling with the media they will often say that professional wrestling is just entertainment.   The media is usually unsatisfied with this answer but it is true.   Some in media have said that the reason genre is labeled just entertainment the business is trying to avoid certain laws which is untrue.   Professional wrestling is referred to sports entertainment in my opinion to distinguish it from an actual sport.   That is the main reason there still is a business.   I still do not understand the piece that 20/20 did on professional wrestling in the mid 1980s.   Because looking back at that piece it seemed as if all they wanted to do is mock and make fun of the business.   Even Barbra Walters said the piece was “supposed to be funny”.   But in a weird way the 20/20 piece might have been the best thing that happen to the business because the industry did not have to hide what it is.   The public is now more in on what it is.   But and I hope it is only a minority fans think they know more than they probably actually do.  Many fans have become down right arrogant when it comes to knowledge they think they have.       I do not want to upset anyone.   The Parents Music Resource or the PMRC was supposed to be the end of heavy metal but all it did was help heavy metal.   Because of that little sticker it helped the industry.   But it is one of the reasons I do not like to identify myself as a conservative politically.  But when referring to “conservative American” that may not be what they are referring.   The PMRC was formed in 1985.     That same year the famous hearings lead by Tipper Gore who formed the PMRC took place.    Dee Snider of Twisted Sister testified before the senate.     John Denver and Frank Zappa also testified during the hearing as well.    Because I have felt that conservative America has always been against professional wrestling and heavy metal that a reason why I am not found of the word conservative.   What is someone trash is another person’s art.          I am all for morality in society but I think morality comes from self-control.   It is worth to noting: that Tipper Gore was a democrat I am not sure what that meant during that time.   Maybe the right word is not conservative maybe establishment is the right word.   Dee Snider John Denver and Frank Zappa were fighting against censorship.    The thing about those labels you have to look at what labels meant back in the Regan Era not what those political labels mean at this point and time.   I am not sure about this.   I think what I find refreshing about this project I am going to pretend like I know everything. I will say this there have been points in this project that I feel I have no business discussing certain topics.     Also and this key I do not want to act like some cable news opinion hosts I see who think they know everything about everything.   Just because something is in the news or a topic of the day does not mean you should cover it.   Have I mentioned I really have no faith in the media?   It really has become a strange world we have crafted.   It has effected all forms of entertainment professional wrestling is no expectation.   Which makes it harder to try things in the past that were used to draw heat.   Political correctness I know is one of the reasons I do not like most entertainment.   I think one of the main issues I see no one wants to upset a certain group.   I think part of the issue is looking at people as special interest groups.   There were things in entertainment when I was growing up that was fine.   But now I feel like everyone is scared to take chances.   Part of living is taking chances.   Unless you want to rap your kids in bubble wrap.   I am not sure how things are going to work.   But I do think there is hope President Trump’s election last year proves to me that a silent group of indviuals in this country have had it.   I am not for bullying or anything you should not bullying anyone.   If someone wants to get a sense of my musical taste I prefer Winger over Metallica.   Metallica came out in the 1980s they hated the 1980s hard rock scene which many refer to as the derogatory term hair metal.   Which is term I do not liking using.   Because I think if you look at that era of rock it was a pretty awesome decade of music.   I think people forget that 1980s rock was and is an entire generation’s classic rock.   But because of the image associated with the era this entire genre of music is glossed over.      I am not a fan of Metallica I prefer Dokken over Metallica.      If you do not believe me about the image hurting these   1980s hard rock musicans and bands watch Metallica’s video nothing else matters where Metallica is throwing darts at a poster of Winger.   Metallica came out in the mid 1980s when all of this occurred.   Metallica is a 1980s hard rock band that were just a straight rock band.   Many hard rock fans hated that era of hard rock which I believe is the reason Metallica connected with a large group of hard rock who felt they were forgotten.   Guns’N Roses I think were in that same category with Metallica except Guns’N Roses were associated with the image of the era.   Meaning their hair.   It is unfortunate that so many people associate 1980s rock with their hair styles.   I guess I could make an argument that a majority of people associate Grudge and alternative rock with flannel t-shrits and torn blue jeans but it does not hurt the music.   The term hair metal was not used until the 1990s when this era of rock was going away.   I think 1980s rock does not really sound dated it has aged very well.   I would say that a lot of Grudge and alternative rock does not sound dated and has aged very well.   The best example of this classic rock radio stations are now playing Nirvana Alice In Chains etc.   When Edge and Christian debuted in the WWE they were a part of The Brood with Gangrel who was the leader of the stable.   The reason I bring this up supposedly the gimmick was based on the movie The Lost Boys.   The Gangrel persona was a vampire gimmick.   Gangrel brought Edge and Christian into his stable because everyone in the stable were supposed outsiders.      Keep in mind I have never seen the movie The Lost Boys.    But to me when they debuted in the WWE they had a Grudge or an alternative rock look.      I have felt that Grunge and alternative rock from 1990s connected with outsiders because the musicans were outsiders themselves.      In the 1980s it was known as indie rock for example: Aimmee Mann was considered indie rock.   I learned this by reading Juliana Hateflied’s memoir When I grow up.     In the memoir Juliana discusses that when she was growing up it was an underground scene.      I remember growing up in the late 1990s there was a local radio station in Memphis TN called 96X.   I am not sure if that station was dedicated to alternative rock but I know that MTV played a lot of this music because MTV is the place I remember seeing the music video for Garbage’s stupid girl for the first time.    During that same time Alanis Morrisette’s album Jagged Little Pill was considered an alternative rock record.   VH1 was the first place I saw the music video bitch from Meredith Brooks.   Which was her only hit she should have had much more.   Meredith to me just has such a unique voice she also is a tremendous guitar player.   I think it has to be seen to believe she is that good!      I would put her up there with the top female guitar players in any kind of rock.   That same year on VH1 I saw the follow up video from Meredith's album Blurring The Edges what would happen.   Which is my favorite Meredith Brooks song.   I am not if she was placed in a similar category with Garbage and Tori Amos or if Meredith’s music kind of got lost in the shuffle but I still have an appreciation for her music.   Also the positive impact Meredith Brooks music has had on me cannot be denied.      Meredith was also a part of the first ever Lilith Fair tour in 1997.   I am truly disappointed in former President George W. Bush.   I found his speech about President Trump supporters to be misguided at best.   Bush did not have to mention President Trump by name.   I felt all that speech did was degrade a whole group of people.   Individuals in flyover nations are all the individuals who elected Donald Trump as President according to the media.      The mainstream media cannot stand a majority of the people in this country.   The feeling for me is mutual.   I have an issue with most media anyway.         I think most people would agree that white supremacy just as a notion is wrong.     I have never heard President Trump even say a word about white supremacy.   To President Trump’s credit he has spoken out against white supremacy.     It is almost as if because former President Bush does not agree with President Trump’s policies so in the speech he was trying to take him down.   I also find it odd that in all the years Donald J. Trump ran a successful business he was never accused of being sexist racist or anti-gay etc. until he ran for President Of United States as a Republican.    I hope this country can come together in some way.   I know it is possible because I remember the day after September 11th 2001.   I do not understand the hatred of President Trump I can understand not liking his policies but the hatred of President Trump not only by  democrats and many republicans  as well.   I do not understand it but it is one of the many reasons I think we have a one party system.   This whole thing about calling individuals you disagree racist sexist etc. is really lazy.   But the mainstream media latches on to this because they are lazy.   It is really lazy because there is no thought to get there I really do not like the idea that if you disagree with someone whatever political alley you happen to fall you should not associate with that person just because you disagree with them.   I can understand not associating with people who want to push their ideas on to you.   That was goal of the progressive left from the very beginning.   Mika Brzeezinski the CO host of Morning Joe said that it is the media’s job to control exactly what people think.   Maybe the media wants to control the narrative because they know they do not control the American people.   One of the main reasons for the rise of new media there were a large group of individuals whose worldview was not being represented.   Ted Koppel in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity said people like him have ruined journalism.   I think there are successful cable news hosts and talk radio hosts who have a point of view.   Journalist like Ted Koppel just sound biter because they still want to control the narrative in this country by pretending to be objectivity.      These so called journalists think so little of the average citizen.   Tonight Sunday November 5th 2017.    Impact’s biggest event of the year Bound For Glory LIVE from the Aberdeen Pavilion in Ottawa Ontario Canada.   In my opinion Bound For Glory is the biggest wrestling event of the year!   People can disagree with me if they wish and they do.   But it is only my opinion so do not freak out.   In her last match before her retirement Impact Hall Of Famer Gail Kim takes on Allie and the defending Knockouts Champion Sienna in a triple threat match.   Gail Kim is the very first Impact Knockouts Champion.    Former Global Champion Alberto El Paton will make his return to Impact tonight during Bound For Glory in Canada.   The question I have is what will he do?   In an X-Division Championship 6 way match Matt Sydal Garza JR Petey Williams Sonjay Dutt Dezmond Xavier and the defending the X-Division Champion Trevor Lee.   The main event:  The Global Champion Eli Drake defends The Global Championship against Johnny IMPACT.   I love both of these athletes but I am hoping that Eli Drake retains the Global Championship.   Because I think he is one of the best world champions in quite some time!   Eli Drake is excellent on the mic and in ring.   I usually cheer for the good guys but in this case I would like to see Eli Drake keep the Global Championship for a while longer.    In other words I would like to see him have a longer run.     Eli Drake is a prime time player.   I have compared Eli Drake to The King Jerry Lawler.   But many fans have compared his mic work to The Rock.   Bound For Glory this year is sold out for the first time in Canada.   I just hope the fans are into the event.   I hope the Aberdeen Pavilion in Ottawa will be rocking!   I like this I may have read this from Jim Cornette he said in his column:  Character Actors that the best professional wrestlers are not characters they are characters without being given a character in entertainment it is called having IT.     Usually no one is really sure what it is until you see it.   Usually having the so called IT factor is something that cannot be taught it is an intangible or something that cannot be taught.   The product of professional wrestling can be off thought.   I think right now Impact has some really excellent talent.   I think for the most part the talent has been placed in the right spots.   The Global Champion Eli Drake is great on the mic.   I have heard some fans say Eli Drake sounds too much like The Rock.      I just do not think he sounds too much like The Rock.   I think The Global Champion Eli Drake has a natural arrogances to him.   Which is something he definitely needs in order to be a successful bad guy.    I think if anything Eli Drake has put his own spin on it.   Which is something any performer in the business must do to be successful.     The reason I think Eli Drake has been such a great Global Champion he does not try to be the cool bad guy like most bad guys today in professional wrestling.      He generally is intent on the audience not liking him.      I think that is one of the many reasons Eli Drake is the most successful Global Champion in some time.   Van Halen was criticized by purest when they released their album 1984 which features jump.   Because of the keyboard section and synthesizers in jump purest felt it was to pop leaning.    But jump remains Van Halen’s most well-known and biggest hit.   I think if you look at 1984 as a whole Van Halen was going in that direction anyway.   Which was a more melodic style.   A song such as:  I’ll wait has a heavy synthesized sound accompanied with a crisp drum section.   Maybe the purists fans of Van Halen thought they sounded too much like Bon Jovi at the time.   I love both eras of Van Halen between David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar.   I think they were both excellent front men for Van Halen.   They were two different bands.   I do not understand picking sides between both Roth and Hagar I like both of them for different reasons.   Anthem’s President Ed Nordholm has called The Global Wrestling Network app GWN Network the alternative wrestling network.   I love that because they are trying to differentiate the GWN network between the WWE Network.   GWN is not going to pretend the service has the footprint that the WWE has.   I think that is a great start.   I would like to see Impact become a profitable company and that is Anthem’s President Ed Nordholm’s stated goal for the company.   I think I am being realistic when I say that Impact will never be viable competition for the WWE.   There is a reason those who work in the industry call it the WWE machine.   But I still see no reason why Impact cannot continue to be an alternative to the WWE.   That also does not mean that fans should not enjoy both products.    I feel like my opinion about the WWE is just common sense but that does not mean Impact Wrestling cannot be successful.   I think it is a must for other companies besides the WWE to be a healthy industry all around.   I can understand liking another wrestling product over the other that is what it is all about.   But openly rooting for any wrestling company to fail is downright foolish.   Samuel L.  Jackson did not play Cowboy Curtis on Pee Wee’s Playhouse it was actually Lawrence Fishburne who played Cowboy Curtis.     I hope that I have cleared that up once and for all but I probably have not.   I think there are many things in life that will try to bring individuals down but I those who can rise above those aspects in life are stronger for it.   I think the main purpose of media is to depress people.   I am not referring to politics but I think that can be part of it.   I am referring to sensationalism or creating drama.   I think 24 hour news is a problem because there is so much time to fill.   I think it makes those in media magnify a story times ten.   Once I discovered the media’s pattern of trying to depress their audiences it becomes easier for me not to succumb to the media’s desires.   There are those who probably think I am aggregating about this.   They will say the media is there to report the news or to keep the public informed.   The media cannot help how a story is reported they are just telling the public the facts.   I have noticed that many in the media who get called out on their stories throw fits.   I think if the stories the media reports are true they would not be so defensive when they are called out.   I wonder why in professional wrestling when talents leave a company it is such a huge issue for the media and fans?     The only thing I can figure there are not many places left to work anymore in the business.   There are no territories in the business anymore.   I am not saying that is a good or bad thing it just is.   But back in the day talent left territories and went to another territories all the time.    Just because talent leave a company for a time that does not mean talent cannot go back and have another run.   Because wrestlers are not employees and it is a business relationship they are able to stay or leave a company when they desire more often than not I think.   I think like myself many fans forget that professional wrestling is a business.   Because of the wrestling media which I truly am not found everytime a talent leaves a company it is armagedon not for the WWE of course!   Even though that maybe the best thing they could have done at the time.      It is called click bait for a reason.   Personally for me I agree with Jerry Lawler that fans only think they want to know what goes on backstage.   There is a mystery to professional wrestling some will say that the mystery has been taken out of it I disagree.   I think the main reason why fans do not enjoy the product anymore because of the way they choose to view the product.   If fans view a movie like many fans view wrestling there is no way they could enjoy that movie.   I think because certain fans think they have some level of knowledge of what professional wrestling is they have become contentious of it.   Which I think is only a small group of fans.   Doctor Tom Prichard became known as: The Doctor of Desire in East Tennessee.     The Doctor of Desire was a taken off on the two monikers of Sweet Stan Lane and The Gigolo Jimmy Del Ray.   The Doctor of Desire became a tag team with The Gigolo Jimmy Del Ray called The Heavenly Bodies in Smoky Mountain Wrestling.   There was also a version of the Heavenly Bodies with Doctor Tom and Sweet Stan Lane.   This was not the original version of the team there was a tag team in Memphis Tennessee known as: The Heavenly   Bodies as well.   Al and Don Greene formed The Heavenly Bodies in Memphis Tennessee in 1955.      Memphis Heat The True Story Of Memphis Wrasslin is an excellent documentary it is probably the best documentary on professional wrestling in Memphis Tennessee there will ever be.   But I feel there is probably so much more.   The documentary ends about the time Jimmy Hart is suspended from the USWA and goes to the WWE in 1985.   I regret that Memphis Wrestling hit it’s peek in popularity before my time.   I have never been a fan of Jerry Lawler’s work in the WWE.   I just never thought his in ring style worked in the WWE.   I truly do not mean that has a criticism.   I think Jerry Lawler is one of the best worker in the business.   He is one of the best talker and in ring workers in Memphis.   The King also won the AWA World Heavyweight Championship by defending Curt Henning.   Which took place inside the Mid South Coliseum in Memphis Tennessee on May 2nd 1988.   That was a huge deal.   The King interactions with Lance Russell are some of best ever.   But there is this thing in the WWE that if you have not done anything in the business until you have done it in the WWE.    Which I disagree with completely.   I think it is a determent to the talent to have that mindset.     I am not going to go on a tangent because I have done that so many times during this project.   I respect Chris Jericho because he has been able to accomplish more than one of his dreams.   I admire Jericho because of his drive.   There is an old saying that most people do not get has much out of life has they could.   Chris Jericho has been able to do it.   Joe Rogan said I like when people get into what they like.   Billy Corgan in an interview on The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast that he think it is to cool to be involved in many endeavors.   Chris Jericho has been able to be a successful professional wrestler and have a successful rock band Fozzy and a stand-up comic.   The Canadian Destroyer The former Captain of Team Canada Petty Williams challenged The Global Champion Eli Drake in his hometown of Canada.   On the Thursday November 16th 2017 edition of Impact On Pop.   Petey Williams has to have had the best comeback of 2017 for Impact.   This match was for me a match of the year candidate it was classic.   Eli Drake has to be the first person ever to kick out of Petey’s finisher the Canadian Destroyer!   The pacing and timing of this match between Eli Drake and Petey Williams was flawless!   Everything done in the match made sense.   This type of match is what I love most about professional wrestling.   There are many reasons why I love this art form that is just one of them!     Thank you Petey Williams and Eli Drake and to the fans in The Aberdeen Pavilion in Ottawa Ontario Canada.   I do not know much about Dutch Mantell but being from Memphis Tennessee I have heard about Dutch for a long time.   So I was glad to hear that Dutch was hired to be a consultant for Impact at the beginning of the year.    I said earlier that by what I read from certain fans that I am sort of an old school wrestling fan.   Because I really do not care to know is going on behind the scenes.   I care most about the in ring product etc.   But many fans are more concerned about what is going on backstage.   I think that is unfortunate.   I hope the next generation coming up can just enjoy the product.   There is enough drama happening on screen to enjoy.   The drama in professional wrestling is tremendous if fans allow themselves to be immersed in it.   Dutch Mantell was responsible for Kane when he debuted in Knoxville Tennessee in Smoky Mountain Wrestling.    Jim Cornette was also responsible for the creation of Kane.   Dutch Mantell also brought The Undertaker into Smoky Mountain Wrestling in Knoxville Tennessee.       Scott Leavy also known as: Raven has called The King Jerry Lawler the greatest worker in the history of the business.   Raven is referring to The King’s work in Memphis.   The reason Raven believes this The King could be a successful good guy or bad guy.   He was also a brilliant talker.   Most individuals in the business are successful being one or the other a good guy or a bad guy.   He could be either one and be successful.    The King’s in ring psychology was some of the best ever according to Raven.   Raven did say that The King’s style worked in Memphis.   It may not have worked elsewhere.   But that is not a criticism of The King.   I loved his work.   The programs The King had with Superstar Bill Dundee were some of the best ever.   But because the style in Memphis was rasslin it had it’s niche.   The King could talk the audience into the Mid -South Coliseum weekly.    Which is not as easy as it sounds.   But I think Raven’s persona is the best gimmick ever.   Raven had a Grunge and alternative rock look of the era.   Raven’s theme music in ECW at that time was come out and play from The Offerspring.   Raven came across as one of those alienated Grunge/alternative rock fans of the late 1990s.   Raven is good friends with alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan.   Billy Corgan has stated that he hates the term Grunge to describe the rock of the late 1990s.   Maybe he thinks of it has a derogatory term.   90s rock was called Grunge because of the way they were dressed and the presentation of the music.   The black flannel t-shrits and the blue jeans were the so called look of Grunge then it kind of morphed into alternative rock.   So maybe alternative rock is the best way to describe The Smashing Pumpkins.   Because professional wrestlers are outsiders the whole alternative rock scene coincides with professional wrestling an example:  The Demon Assassin RoseMary.   Lita has always been my favorite female wrestler.   I have many favorite female wrestlers but Lita has always been my absolute favorite.   Tara was another favorite of mine.   She was just really cool.   I love the spider she carried with her to the ring.   Tara looked really great in red or black.   I am not sure how Lisa Marie Varon feels about her Impact runs as: Tara but I think it was some of her best work.   I am not sure if it is cassette or not.    I love the version of rebel that I think is on cassette by: Femme Fatale.   Which was released in 1988.   This version may be available on CD or just on cassette.     The album or cassette is Femme Fatale’s debut self-titled release Femme Fatale.   I am unable to get an answer.   This version of rebel has a crisp and clean sound I wish I could play it on a good sound system.   I prefer the physical if that makes me a dying breed then I am a dying breed.     Petey Williams VS. Eli Drake for The Global Championship this past Thursday on Impact On Pop was an instant classic.   I think both of them proofed how good they both are.   Eli Drake every time he goes out he gets better and better.   Petey Williams is just has good as he has ever been.   I think he picked the right time to return at Destination X in August.   Eli Drake keeps retaining The Global Championship.   Johnny Impact had The Global Championship in his grasp until Alberto EL Patron interfered in the match costing Johnny the Global Championship.   EL Patron also attacked The Global Champion Eli Drake.   EL Patron is just looking for revenge against Impact Wrestling and everyone in his path.   Kristen Stewart portrayed Joan Jett in the film The Runaways.   The Runaways was Joan Jett and Lita Ford’s first band I think.      I am not sure if they were just teenagers at the time.   But they were an excellent band.   Joan Jett still performs some of The Runaways hits such as: you drive me wild which was the first song Joanie wrote.   Also she performs The Runaways song I love playing with fire.   I have never seen the film but I like what I have seen the way Kristen portrays Joan Jett is awesome.   Kristen brings many of Joan Jett’s mannerisms to the film.   Kristen brings Joan Jett’s sexiness and attitude to the screen.      My favorite Pretty Poison song is nighttime on their album Catch Me I’m falling.   There are probably many other songs that I like from Pretty Poison.   Another one of my favorite songs from Jade is called take me I’m yours.   The single catch me I’m falling is featured in the movie hiding out.   I am glad that Jade is on a tour called The Lost 80s Tour.    I am not sure who she is touring but I am just overjoyed that Jade is still out there and having fun.   This proofs one of my theories about one hit wonders or musicans that are known for one big hit that just because any musican is only known for one huge hit that does not mean the rest of their catalog is bad.   In fact in my experience some of the best music is not exactly popular or mainstream but most of the time it is better than the one hit they are known.   Some of those could be Underground Classics.     I do not know what former MTV VJ and current Fox Business host Kennedy’s politics even are but I am still am a fan of hers.   The best thing about The Raven persona in ECW Scott Leavy with his promos  he tried everything he could to garner sympathy from the crowd but the more he talked about how his dad would drink and beat him the more the crowd hated him.    Everything about the gimmick normally in professional wrestling he would be a good guy.    It got the opposite reaction it was supposed to get.   I do not think that has ever happen before only with the exception of Mick Foley as: Cactus Jack in ECW with his anti-hardcore promos.   The more Cactus Jack in ECW discussed how much he thought the ECW fans asked too much out of the talent the more they hated him and were not sympathetic.   Because many of the ECW fans in Philadelphia were tape traders they knew about professional wrestling from around the world.   ECW fans were the first time I remember hearing the term marks.  I do not think of the term mark as a derogatory term but many people do.   I think of the term as a compliment but many when disscuing ECW’s history ECW’s fans are often called marks.   When Cactus Jack criticized the ECW fans for being blood thirsty the more they hated him.   A lot of what Cactus Jack said about fans of the style of hardcore Mick Foley really believed.   ECW fans could be downright assholes to the ECW talent at times but they were often very respectful of the talent.   Many historians look back and say that ECW was a company where certain talent could connect with the fans of ECW but could not connect anywhere else.   The ECW owner Paul Heyman let Mick Foley express his own true feelings about the ECW fans that is what makes him such a revolutionary in the business.  The Raven persona to me is Paul Heyman’s greatest creation in ECW.   But Scott Leavy had just has much to do with the success of the Raven gimmick as Paul did.   Scott Leavy uses the movie analogy that Paul Heyman is Martin Scorsese and himself to Robert De Niro.   It is ironic that Cactus Jack did all of those anti-hardcore promos in ECW but was the first ever hardcore champion in the WWE as: Mankind.   Mick Foley is now known as a hardcore legend.   But to me Raven is often forgotten about I am really not sure why.   The only thing I can figure Raven did not make it big in the WWE but to me and other fringe fans Raven is a hardcore legend!     Not by just what he accomplished in ECW which was revolutionary enough in the late 1990s in ECW.   But Raven also did a lot of cool things in Impact Wrestling.   With the way cable television has evolved with dramas such as: Breaking Bad and Sons Of Anarchy what was sub culture is now more mainstream.   Maybe both AMC and FX cater to a niche faze.   But The Walking Dead on AMC is the number one show on television.   It is kind of like certain types of pop music it is usually for the mainstream.   What happen to The Eagles I think fans thought of the band as rebels but when they became more mainstream they were not seen as rebels anymore.   But The Eagles musical style did not change more people just started to like them.   But I think some of The Eagles fans felt they became more mainstream even though their style did not change they just become more popular.      Unlike Bon Jovi whose style has completely changed.   So I can understand why certain fans of Bon Jovi’s would not like their music anymore.     Billy Corgan was seen as a rebel by his fans but when The Smashing Pumpkins had a #1 hit that the mainstream loved some fans did not perceive him as a rebel anymore.   But The Smashing Pumpkins music has never changed.   Scott Leavy who portrayed The Raven gimmick was asked in an interview with Sean Oliver.     Was the Beulah Mcgillicutty pregnancy angle that took place in ECW was it to soap opera for ECW in 1996?   Raven’s answer you can never be to soap opera in wrestling because that is what wrestling is instead of taking place inside of General Hospital it takes place inside of a ring.    Scott said at his best he is a soap opera storyteller.   Usually critics call professional wrestling a male orientated soap opera.   But I love what he said about the storytelling of professional wrestling that one thing happens this week and another thing happens next week.   I love the way he explained what he thinks wrestling is at its finest.   Raven brought Beulah Mcgillicutty into ECW.   She was Raven’s girlfriend who went to summer camp with Tommy Dreamer and even though Beulah was Raven’s girlfriend but she always liked Tommy.   Beulah was supposedly a fat girl when she went to summer camp with Tommy and Raven but when she debuted with Raven in ECW she was a penthouse pet.    The reason Scott did not like the angle because there was no pay off.   He has never liked angles where there are no pay offs.   Which makes somewhat sense.   I would think just being a fan of professional wrestling most of the time during angles and programs you never know where they might go.   Dancing Stevie Richards who was Raven’s lackey asks Beulah why she won’t do something.    Stevie says way cause your Raven’s girlfriend?   Beulah says no I’m pregnant!    The Franchise Shane Douglas comes into the ring and asks whose it is?   Beulah responds it’s Tommy’s meaning Tommy Dreamer.   Joey Styles repeats it’s Tommy! The crowd pops!   I guess there was no pay off because it turned out that Beulah was with Kimona the whole time.   The best part of the angle was when Tommy Dreamer says I’ll take em both I’m hardcore.   That was basically how the angle ended.   But it is a quote I love to use I’ll take em both I’m hardcore!   Another one of my favorite female wrestlers is Trinity.   Trinity is a stunt woman and she was a stunt woman before she become a professional wrestler and joined Impact Wrestling.   I think Trinity first joined up with Kid Kash.   At the time Impact was known as: NWA Total-Non Stop Action.    Both Kid Kash and Trinity were known for during the best hurricanranas in the company.   Kid Kash and Trinity also did excellent moonsails. I  think because of the hexagon that Impact has I think there is more spring in hurricanranas moonsaults and pretty much any aerial maneuver it is easier to perform that style.   Impact has gone back and forth between a traditional four sided ring and a six sided ring.   I have heard both positives and negatives of a six sided ring.   I have heard that more injures take place with a six sided ring so that is no good.   I want to prevent as many injures as possible.   But in Mexico the only type of ring that is available is a six sided ring.   I love the Lucha Libre style.   The style of Lucha Libre is an aerial style with a combination of technical wrestling.   Trinity did a moonsalut off of a cage during Impact’s first ever Lockdown pay-per-view event in 2005.   Lockdown is an annual Impact event where every match takes place inside a six-sided steel cage.   Trinity decided to help manage Maverick Matt Bentley to try and help him regain the X-Division title.   Maverick Matt is the cousin of WWE Hall Of Famer The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Micheals.   So some fans started calling him H2K.   Which was a take-off on the moniker HBK of Shawn Micheals.   I think Maverick Matt’s best run in Impact was being managed by Trinity.   At TNA’s Hard Justice Pay-Per-View a mix tag took place with Maverick Matt Bentley and Trinity on one side and Chris Sabin and Traci Brooks on the other side.   Trinity snapped over some of the best hurricanranas in this match.   Maverick Matt took Chris Sabin over with a belly to belly over the top superplex that was pretty cool because Maverick Matt spurring over to the ropes with such quickness to take Sabin over to the mat.    Maverick Matt and Traci swerved both Sabin and Trinity by turning on both Chris Sabin and Trinity.   Maverick Matt rejoined his former girlfriend Traci.   Matt Bentley and Frankie Kazarian were a tag team with Traci as Maverick Matt’s on screen girlfriend and manager of the team.   They were an excellent team.   Trinity said in an interview on a weekly NWA/TNA Wednesday night pay-per-view that she was influenced to wrestle by Lita.   Trinity has gone on to star in a movie called Jesse.   She has also performed many stunts in many movies.   Trinity remains one of my favorite female wrestlers.   I have always had a crush on her as well!   VH1 Classic showed old episodes of Behind The Music but were remastered.   Unfortnally  I never have seen many of the episodes of Behind The Music Remastered on VH1 Classic.   Because VH1 Classic is now defunct.   Which was unfortunate for me because I was enjoying Behind The Music Remastered on VH1 Classic.     One of the episodes of Behind The Music Remastered that I was looking forward to the most was on Def Leppard.   Def Leppard has not released anything new in almost 25 years.   But Def Leppard performed with Taylor Swift on CMT’s Crossroads.   Which also aired on Palladia which is now MTV Live.     I am not sure if they were trying to capitalize on the success of Bon Jovi.   Because Jon Bon Jovi has performed several times with Jennifer Nettles who was the front woman of the country group Sugarland.   In fact Jon Bon Jovi performed a duet with MS. Nettles called you can’t go home.   That is just one example of the transformation of Bon Jovi.   That they have become a band that is more mainstream then what they started as in the 1980s.   Def Leppord went on tour with Bon Jovi about 10 years ago.    But no other band of the era has been able to transcend beyond the 1980s rock scene except Bon Jovi.   Because Def Leppord and Bon Jovi were in the same category of pop metal.   The best thing about Def Leppord their music and albums have become a new generation’s classic rock because of the power of the internet.   Individuals such as myself have rediscovered Def Leppord’s music.   I feel like many that Def Leppord’s music has aged extremely well.   An example: of Bon Jovi’s differentiation of their style would be lost highway.   Which is featured in the movie comedy Wild Hogs.   I guess one can argue that Bret Micheals sort of had success in the country genre which may have introduced him to a whole new audience.   But I am positive that VH1’s dating reality show Rock of Love with Bret Micheals had the biggest impact in introducing Bret Micheals to a more mainstream and also younger audience.   Because Poison was a part of the same era with Def Leppord and Bon Jovi.   Boston is the band who brought pop metal into the mainstream in the 1970s.      Some call Boston the founding fathers of pop metal.   Boston was a rock band but they had elements of pop.   Many of the 1980s hard rock bands followed the same formula they were rock bands but had elements of pop to their music.   Bands such as: Winger Warrant Whitesnake and Dokken etc. that element of pop is what attracted a majority of females to become fans.   In fact the majority of fans in the audiences at concerts were female.   It sort of changed from mostly all guys at these concerts to a majority of females.    The most successful of all of these bands was Bon Jovi.   I refer to this type of rock as pop metal for a reason to differentiate it from the other rock bands of the 1980s.   For example: Metallica was just a straight up rock band.   Metallica’s first album was called The Black Album which came out in the 1980s.   But that is the reason I use the term pop metal and not the pejorative that is often used to describe this type of hard rock from the 1980s.   Enter sandman did top the pop charts but that is rare because enter sandman is not a pop song.   But that just shows how mainstream enter sandman became.   One of my other favorite Joan Jett and The Blackhearts song is called I love, love me love. From their album Glorious results of a misspent youth.   The song was originally written and performed by: Gary Glitter.   Who is probably best known for rock’n roll part 2.   Gary Glitter also originally wrote and performed the single do you wanna touch me?   But the Joan Jett and The Blackhearts version of the song made it a hit.   Joan Jett and The Blackhearts version of the song is available on Bad Reputation.   I have thought of Glorious results of a misspent youth as a greatest hits.   The reason why the album features Joan Jett and The Blackhearts version of cherry bomb.   Which was originally a Runaways song.   But Joanie CO wrote cherry bomb.   Cherrie Curie performed the vocals on cherry bomb on the original Runaways recording.   Another one of my favorite Joan Jett and The Blackhearts song is called roadrunner from their album Good Music.   Which is my favorite Joan Jett and The Blackhearts album.   Which is hard to pick just one album but to me this Joan Jett at her finest.   Notorious is another one of my favorite Joan Jett and The Blackhearts album in terms of beautiful ballads.      Good Music features not only roadrunner but just lust light of day and this means war.   Also black leather where Joan Jett raps about black leather.   Which I discuss in the second section of this project.   Many call Tony Iommi iron man.   Because he created the riff for Black Sabbath’s iron man.   In fact Tony’s memoir: is called Iron Man.   Without Black Sabbath there may never have been heavy metal.   Because they created many of the riffs that were refined by other bands.   The riffs from heavy metal or hard rock because I like things that I consider to be more hard rock and not metal.   But heavy metal came from the roots of blues which came out of Birmingham England.   Pretty much all the roots of heavy metal can be traced back to Birmingham England.   The Moody Blues and ELO came out of Birmingham England.   I understand that The Moody Blues and ELO are not heavy metal or even hard rock.   What is considered heavy metal is subjective anyway.    The Moody Blues was in the same category with Emerson Lake and Palmer of what became known as: progressive rock.   Which started in the 1970s.   One of the other songs from Laura Brangian’s album touch that I feel is worthy of note:  is called cry wolf.   I love the beauty and the intensity of the beat and rhythm of cry wolf.   The beauty of cry wolf is really what does it for me in cry wolf.   Touch is just a great album anyway.    If The Franchise Shane Douglas had not thrown down The NWA World Heavyweight Championship during ECW’s The Night The Line Was Crossed on Auguast 28th 1994 ECW would never have had this massive legacy that is now baring it’s fruit.   Without what The Franchise did ECW which was known as: Eastern Championship Wrestling at the time would have probably only been a second rate independent promotion that was associated with the NWA.   I hope more people when they think about what the style of hardcore wrestling is as a whole they do not just think about tables chairs and blood and guts.   Because to me it is about a work ethic.   In my view Bret Hart was a hardcore wrestler with the way his chest would hit the turnbuckle after an irsh whip it looked as if his chest was caving in.   Veruca Salt did a great live performance of shutterbug on both Saturday Night Live and The Jenny McCarthy Show on MTV.   This is probably Veruca Salt heaviest song in terms of distorted guitar riffs and a heavy drum beat.   Shutterbug does not really have an alternative rock sound it is almost just a straight up hard rock song.   Which to me makes it more appealing.   It is kind of like the void that Metallica filled in hard rock in the 1980s.   Because there were all of these pop metal bands in the 1980s and along comes Metallica who was just a straight up hard rock band and those who hated pop metal had their band.   Metallica’s debut album was called Metal up Your Ass.   I feel like shutterbug is more of that kind of sound and vibe.   Which I only experienced by watching Veruca Salt’s live performances of shutterbug because you see both Louise Post and Nina Gordon  playing their guitars at the exact same time a guitar off which is reminiscent of Kim and Kelley Deal of The Breeders.   Which I think is a strong compliment.   Shutterbug is on Veruca Salt’s album Eight Arms To Hold You With.   Eight Arms To Hold You With was released in 1997.   Which was sort of MTV’s last year of heavy rotation of alternative rock music videos to more rap and hip-hop.   It sort of happened over night I remember turning on MTV one day and the next day it was almost as if MTV’s format had completely changed.   Which in my opinion destroyed many of the most popular alternative rock acts of the era.   Many of them unfortunaly never recovered.   Because at the time radio was not playing alternative rock.     So MTV was the only outlet for any alternative rock musicans and bands to get any type of exposure.      Many of the alternative rock radio stations that were prominent on mainstream radio changed their formats.   Mary Jane’s Last Dance debuted on Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Greatest Hits which was released in 1993.   The reason I put the year it was released I assume that Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers had more than one greatest hits that was released.   It is rare in my experience that a single would debut on a greatest hits.   Stop dragging my heart around which was a duet with Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks.   Which is featured on Stevie’s album Bella Donna.   It is not featured on any of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers albums.   Stop dragging my heart around is on Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Greatest Hits.   There are many Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers songs that I love.   One of my top favorite Tom Petty and Heartbreakers songs is called into the great wind open.   I think one of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers best albums is entitled Blue Moon Fever.   Which was produced by: Jeff Lynne who is probably best known for his work with ELO.   But Jeff Lynne has produced albums for many prominent artists.   Blue Moon Fever features: free fallin’.   Which is Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers biggest hit.   I like the song because it has a clean and crisp sound.   Much like many of ELO’s songs.   I love runnin’ down a dream.   The guitar riff is what I love most about it.   Also runnin’ down a dream as a great drum beat.   Next on my playlist: learning to fly.   I have always felt that this song has sort of a blues sort of vibe to it.   Learning to fly is almost fallkie.    Tom Petty has been called a folk singer songwriter by some.   I know that many hardcore Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers fans hate that I would refer to Tom Petty’s music has folk music.   Because they probably think of Bob Dylan Woody Guthrie or James Taylor etc when they think of folk music.   But I do not mean it to be a knock-on Tom Petty.   Because I consider myself a hardcore fan of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.      The next song on my playlist: Mary Jane’s Last Dance.   This song has an amazing guitar riff and a harmonica that makes Mary Jane’s Last Dance memorable.   One last song on my playlist: American girl.   I really think this song needs to be heard through a sound speaker or a good sound system to get the full enjoyment out of it!    Because it does not seem like there is much there.   But listen to American girl on a good radio or sound system and I think fans will know why this is a favorite of mine.   I love the program in ECW between Tommy Dreamer who was being managed by The Queen Of Extreme Francine VS. Lance Storm who was being managed by Dawn Marie.   The pay-off took place during ECW’s Hardcore Heaven pay-per-view event on May 16th 1999.   The Innovator Of Violence Tommy Dreamer with Francine VS. Lance Storm with Dawn Marie.   The reason this program in ECW stands out it was a singles match but where weapons were in play.     It was just an  extension of their feud. The combination of Tommy Dreamer and Franchine were an excellent pair together.   Lance Storm had an unparalleled technical prowess and had an amazing vertical leap.   That vertical leap that Storm possessed gave him the ability to leap frog and to get amazing extension on any variation of a drop kick.    Lance Storm used a role through into a single leg crab or a leaping elbow.   I unfortunately I have never seen this match I would like to see this match.     I heard Lance and Tommy discuss their program in ECW on WWE Byte This.      I am not sure how the program between Storm and Dreamer in ECW evolved.     I am not sure how Tommy and Franchine  got together on screen in ECW because Tommy Dreamer had been managed by his now real life wife Beulah Mcgillicutty but she was forced to retire after being taken out in ECW by Team 3D.     But a year later Tommy Dreamer was being managed by Franchine.   Franchine was also great on the mic when she joined Justin Credible after costing Tommy Dreamer the ECW World Heavyweight Championship.    There was this promo on an edition of ECW On TNN where Franchine just emasculates Tommy Dreamer where she tells Tommy “Let’s face it sweetie I got you over here in ECW”.   She says “you might need me but Raven he wants me.”   So this was a continuation of the program in ECW between Tommy Dreamer and Raven.   The thing I find most interesting about this when Beulah was first brought into ECW by Raven her first program was with Franchine.   Tommy Dreamer was managed by both Beulah and Franchine in ECW.
