Iron 1

I can say that watching Impact’s Rebellion event from The Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto Canada I really wished I could have been there to feel their energy  it  was so positive.   Brain Cage is truly a mechiche he has nothing to be ashamed.   That Impact World Championship match between Johnny Impact started off  so quickly with an F-5 and Johnny Impact hit the Spanish fly so quickly from the ramp off the stage The Mechiche still continued the match.   Lance Storm did an excellent job as a special referee which I was not sure how that would play out.   The Mechiche’s discuss closeline is so heavy and hard hitting.    Many fans talk about the drill claw or weapon X but to me that discus is nasty.   The first person I saw do a discus closeline was Kerry Von Erich.   I would not want to be Michael Elgin after he powerbomed Cage after he defeated Johnny Impact to become the brand new Impact Champion.   I did not like that Brain power bombed Taya but Johnny Impact put her in harm’s way by trying to get Johnny E Bravo to make the count after he hit starship pain on Cage.    But thankfully Lance almost kicked his face.   I love the sign in the front that read Cult of Impact.   Dude I do not feel like that much anymore but there have been many years where I felt as if I was a part of the Cult of Impact.   Anyway it is an infectious sign that made me proud.   Rebellion was my Wrestlemina or my November to Remember.   Rebellion and Impact is something extremely special it is genuine emotion that cannot be scripted or thought about a head of time. It is in the moment no fan is sure how they will react but sometimes it makes every fan cry because of that power.   But there is something that has been bothering me the notion of stealing the show.   It is an expression and belief that I wish could be expunged from the industry.     I have all the respect in the world for these talent but I hate that talent feel they have to continue to top themselves everytime they go out there and perform.   Because eventually it cannot be toped.   Lance Storm was asked by some fans on his Killing the Town podcast when did the fans change?   I have a theory I believe because fans have been beaten over the head for a lot of years that this is not real so the talent feel they have to perform at a high risk so the fans will continue to buy into what they are selling.   I hope that is not the case.   Because one of the things that I love about professional wrestling are:  the gimmicks and personas the promos conflicts and drama.   I think the Impact product has been extremely awesome with the drama and storytelling it is very easy to follow.   But it is an 12 to 18 month process that sometimes fans I am guilty of this from time to time become impatient.   But I enjoy viewing how the programs between the talents evolve.    I have heard the exact same criticism of the WWE so maybe this is how the industry has evolved.   Tommy Dreamer gave one of the most impassioned promos this past Friday night May 10th where he talked about going to war with Rich Swan and Fallah Bahh Willie Mack and Scarlet about how they were going to war with OVE and how he was meat with the same criticism that they faced when he was their age when he was in ECW.    How he told that what he was doing was not wrestling and that wars hurt he was not sure how many wars he had in him because this hurts and he is not sure how many wars he has left in him.   How the Impact World Champion: Brain Cage went down with a  serve spinal injury and how his wife Melissa Santos saw it happen on the monitor and did not know what to do?   But the president of Impact stayed with Melissa and The Mechiche in the  hospital for four hours until 4 am.   That is a company he wants to work and fight because it is fighting for what we love wrestling.   Last year Tommy tried to burn Eddie Edwards and the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto Canada alive.   The Pope Don Callis talks about how Tommy can be the nicest guy in the world   but there is a switch that goes off and he becomes a different guy.   Tommy is insane much like Mick Foley and I love him for it.   I enjoy an influx of talent where the roster is constantly changing.   But I know some fans and talent do not like that.   But in my opinion it is the best way to go.   The most important reason hopefully it will prevent the number injures and it will keep the product fresh.   Talent have control over when they come and go into a company.   I prefer the smaller arenas that Impact is running their events.   I am not sure if that is my psyche protecting me or I really believe it.   But the reason I prefer them the fans seem like they are having a party.   It is more intimate and real.    I just prefer more of a standing room only hall.   Not to say that the fans at a WWE live event are not having just the same amount of fun it is just different.   I am really not a fan of the WWE’s production style I do not like pyro in wrestling events.   That is just a preference I have.   So take it easy.   I love that Johnny Impact has the graphic of Hollywood Slammtown is what Johnny and Taya call Los Angles or that The Mechiche Brain Cage has the terminator clap on his entrance.   It is such a small thing that adds to the excitement!    I am looking forward to Impact coming for the first time ever to the birth place of Extreme The Arena in Philadelphia Pennsylvania known as the Bingo Hall.    Eddie Edwards will take on Killer Kross now he has been dubbed the American Psycho.   Kross stole Eddie’s kendo stick Kenny which he called Kenneth was stolen by Kross which only made Eddie more insane.      Rosemary will have a demon dog collar match winner takes all   in the Arena in Philadelphia.   What is a demon collar match and what does winner take all mean?   I love Rosemary I want to be a part of the hive or go to the undead realm with Rosemary.   She is my favorite Impact knockout.   I watched Ironman 3 again it is my favorite of the series.   One of the reasons I love the bar scene where Tony meets Ellen Brandt who has some kind of fire power.   Brandt is played by Stephanie Szostak.
