What has happened that there are so many people that wish ill on other people? There are either groups that are happy to see someone fail or distory someone while virtue signaling how righteous they are. This is not healthy for any society. People harassing those that they wish to distory I guess what is known as trolling but it is just a sad time. That is why I am not optimistic about the future because of social media and the cruelness that is happening. I am all for the 1st amendment and I believe if there are limits on freedom of speech that is a slippery slope but this is not healthy for any society. If the most important question any society can ask as Dennis Prager says is how to make good and moral indviuals we are truly failing. I think it is immaturity and shame driven. I will not apologize to these groups I am not sure how any of this will be prevented at this point we have gone to far. The only thing that can be done is not apologizing and giving into these groups. The problem is a lot of employers are givening into these groups and many fear that if they do not comply they will lose their jobs. I discussed that joy and humor has been eliminated that life’s little joys are going away. We will not agree on what is funny and what is not but the attempt is extremely important because life is diffcult for everyone and sometimes the best humor is found in tension. A lot of times it is best to laugh at what is happening but it truly is heartbreaking. I love escapes and it is needed especially with all the fear that the media and social media try to instill in all of us everyone needs an escape but do not use those escapes to avoid problems. Many psychologists say that is why many people use social media because they want to avoid their real problems so they go on these platforms to act as if everything is okay so it can be an addiction just like anything else. What bothers me and confuses me the most is the virtue signaling and the tattling that is constanly happening. What makes it worse young children are now being subjected to all of this it is no wonder there is so much unhappiness and anxiety out there. What is known as the greatest generation was happier than this current generation even though they had to deal with a lot more problems that we could not even imagine they lost loved ones and there was a lot of uncertainity but they still retained a level optimism and happiness. What I choose to do now is to be kind not perfect but kind and try to support people that I may disagree but we not tear down but will build up by ignoring them but will support when I can again not perfect but I will reflect when necessary. Because if anyone strives for perfection which no one can that will create agitation which I think should be eliminated or limited as much as possible.
