There are many commercials that are geared with the message live for now. That is a horrible message to send. I think now especially with social media and the like more and more people are living for the now. I can tell everyone for a fact that the notion of living for the now is a destructive and dangerous notion. For example: the people who brought homes that they could not afford and the bubble burst I am willing to admit to everyone I am not sure what happened but they probably lived for now we will worry about what comes next later. I respect those who had the four sight to think ahead. But with social media and blogs people forget that there is a future. I am all for the 1st amendment but I think it can be abused very much so. I think having a discourse could be a positive but I think because of the media it is not possible at this point. So I think social media is truly being used for evil if I woke up one day and social media was gone I would be extremely satisfied if I could make a suggestion get off social media and youtube we have turned into a group of people who tattle and virtual signal every chance we get. Human beings should be able to tell off color jokes if they wish. Humor has always been a great equalizer. Now many may not think something is humorous but that is why it is called a sense. Life is tragic and there are so many comedians in the past that turned their personal struggles into brilliant comedy they definitely payed a price for that but there is a lot of tragedy in comedy. My brother thinks a lot of things I believe are not funny to be so. I am not sure if that is just a way of dealing with the tragedies that we will all eventually face. A lot of people use humor as a shield to deal with the confession of life. There is so much chaos in this world most of the time I think what does it all mean is it all for nothing? One of my favorite musicans Meredith Brooks wrote a song called all for nothing on her wonderful album: Deconstruction this album is so well rounded that is not the word I am searching there is a word for music that is differential. I will not apologize unless I do something wrong which I do every day. But there is so much bullying and angrier out there I truly believe that most people especially young people do not believe in free speech. The whole notion of freedom of speech is very confusing especially because both the left and right both believe there side is being censored. The left thinks they are not being allow to speak at conservative universities and conservatives believe they are being censored at every other universities. I think because on Youtube the algorithms have not yet been figured out yet their guidelines are not clear. I think so many people especially certain Christans are lying to themselves they use religion to explain everything nothing explains everything science does not explain everything having a philosophy of life does not explain everything. For example: cancer cells multiply just as fast in a good person the same way it does in a bad person if those same cells only multiped in bad people there would be no reason to be good. I got this prospective from reading: Happiness is a serious problem. I am not a fan of going all in ideologically whether that is political or religious ideologies that is why I think I confuse people so much. For example: if you are on the right you have to be outraged by everything on the left and if you are on the left you must be outraged by everything on the right. I know everyone that is successful has to have a strong point of view and if they go away from that you risk being fired and most of the time I am not sure why? There is an old saying about chasing dragons that the people who are hustling and successful they are all chasing dragons. But if you are not careful you will basically end up just chasing the wind so to speak and not appreciate what you have. The notion that got me to think about this was reading “Not Taco Bell Material” by: Adam Carolla that when he was at his low points working construction he never thought this would be a good story on a morning radio show or podcast. Or Joe Rogan when he worked construction jobs he felt like he was being poisoned. Henry Rollins said in that same interview that it is not poison and they mean well but they are coming from a different value system. That Joe was lucky that at 21 he found stand up because he felt that he was being pulled in so many different directions and he just thought I am going to do what I want. I hope people know that I am struggling a lot with this but I am trying to know myself because very few people look from when in because it is difficult and painful to do. But everyone is now being forced into silence because they are scared that they will be fired by their employer. But I do not have a problem listening to people but what I am petrified by that if someone says something that someone is offended by they must be destroyed at all cost even if the comment or joke was not directed at the them. This all goes back for me outrage culture boredom and narcissism. The constant addiction to screens phones and having the need to be reached at all times and if you do not answer a text imminently people think you are dead this is killing our society. I do not have a problem keeping my mouth shut. For example: Bill Duke has said in interviews that acting is not pretending it is reacting. That is why stage actors are better then other actors because they only have moments to react. So what I am hoping for is that we can start listening to each other instead of just tearing everyone down and burning everything down. I mean only as a metaphor only but I do not need to be re educated by the left or a group of people who just want to be a part of a cause. For example: I take responsibility. There are moments in my life where I try to be to much of a people pleaser without even thinking about it. But I am constantly working on it. I hope I can find a balance of some kind. Because the truth is you cannot please most people even a small amount of time. I am not the best at small talk but I try my best. There are times when I am comfortable with silence I just do not think we all need to be stipulated at all times your brain needs time to reset just like a computer. But at the same time I hear especially young children require structure. But even I need to feel like a kid again even though I want to be mature and evolve. But when I listen to music and I get that feeling again I feel like that kid again in other words I am brought back to life again. Life is fleeting so that is why I do not want to focus on dumb trivial issues which is what the media and social media focus on. How many times do I hear Twitter is blowing up? Way to much but what if we all choose to ignore what is blowing up on Twitter? I have an idea we would all be much happier not giving these platforms our time because they operate on fear and intimidation. I think the best thing we all can do is stop apologizing and giving in. I truly worry about the future of this country and the main things that concerns me is the intimidation of having to comprise your values just to have a decent income. I do not criticize those who have to do so but it is just a troubling time and it is happening at such an enormous rate. What I want is for people to pursue happiness has much as possible. That does not guarantee it because as I have said most people are unable to follow their dreams.

"Live for now should not be the message
