The main reason I prefer VH1 Classic over MTV Classic it was in HD now HD may not seem like a huge issue I did not think so but it does make a huge difference. Most of videos are washed out and being in HD they are easier to see even if they are concerts they look much better. VH1 Classic used to show Behind the Music Remastered and That Metal Show and Pop Up Video really awesome stuff if you are a said rock’n roll junkie such as myself. But unfortunaly all that great stuff went away. I kind of thought I will give MTV Classic a shot because I love Beavis and Butthead but MTV Classic stop showing all that wonderful stuff. I do not have anything against MTV I grew up watching it especially during the alternative rock blimp in the late 1990s. But that did not last to terribly long but I guess every good thing must come to an end. Because VH1 never showed any of those alternative videos which is a shame. But VH1 also featured: Movies that rock and I guess on VH1 Classic it was called: Rock’n Roll picture show. MTV had programs that I enjoyed such as: TRL and Say What Karaoke that was a huge one for me. VH1 had excellent shows such as: Rock’n Roll Jeopardy The List and Street Games in the summer The Daily One hosted by Rebecca Rankin or Lynda Lopez. So someone like me who is A rock fan I am a music fan in general but rock’n roll is more of my thing this was a dream come true. On The List for example: Henry Rollins was the host for a week on the panel that week Carmen Electra and Cindy Margolis not on the same panel that would have been excellent! One of the reasons I miss VH1 Classic was That Metal Show I value Eddie Trunk's insight and opinions especially on hard rock. So I was extremely disappointed after a while when VH1 Classic went away but I tried to give MTV Classic a chance it is just not the same. There are a ton of matches I am looking forward to This Sunday at Impact’s Hard to Kill Pay-per-View. The match I am looking forward to the most The Whole Whole F’N Show Rob Van Dam VS The Mechiche Brain Cage this is one of those matches I never thought I wanted see until it was announced it really does not mater who wins it is going to excellent! Rhino VS. Moose the Gore from Rhino and The No Jackhammer needed spear. When I read fans complain about Impact I have no idea what they are referring. In Impact’s past even with talent such as: AJ Styles and Bobby Roode who I still think is one of the great chain wrestlers I have seen I think they had a point but now I do not get it. I think it is the best product it has been despite the turn over in talent which again is just great booking and storytelling. I guess there are things I could nit-pick but why? It is a waste of time. I think watching and being a fan of professional wrestling was and is a lot more fun treating it as if it were real. Meaning buying into and believing who the talent is. But the smart marks will say no we are too sophisticated to do that we are going to judge how good a show is by how good the matches are and how many starts a match should get we are totally past that! The smart marks can do what they want but I still think breaking down and second guessing and just over thinking everything has taken the enjoyment away from them where they are miserable in other words they have forgotten why they were fans. But the best thing about wrestling fans they are loyal and they are loyal to what they love. I really like Kid Rock’s song only God knows why from his Devil without A cause. My favorite Kid Rock song is lonely road of faith. I really enjoy Alica Witt's song I hope it’s me this is just a beautiful song about falling in love with someone at the wrong time. This song is a prime example of how talented Alica is as a musican and it has to do with the emotion connected to it! What about me is another excellent song from Alica I think this song is about taking control over a situation I am not sure but it is a great song. What I like most about Alica’s music has to be her piano playing I think that is what makes her unique. I mentioned earlier that it would have been a dream come true to see both Carmen Electra and Cindy Margolis on the same panel on The List I am just a big fan of all three of those folks Henry Rollins Carmen Electra and Cindy Margolis! As I mentioned earlier I did not have CMT growing up but I think they had similar shows like VH1 and MTV. It is just not like it used to be. Unbreakable Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards had an excellent hard-hitting match this past Tuesday on Impact On AXSTV this match is what kicked off the night. This match to me showed how good Eddie Edwards is how well rounded he is in the ring. I think because of Eddie Edwards persona I forget how good Eddie is in ring. But it also showed how Michael Elgin maybe unstoppable! Because Elgin defended Eddie for a second time Eddie’s call your shot trophy will be on the line this Sunday at Impact’s Hard to Kill. Who ever wins this match will be in possession of the trophy and will be able to challenge for any Impact championship they want to at any time they choose so these are high stakes. This is sort of like winning the money in the bank briefcase in the WWE. I have to mention private parts from: Halestorm and James Michael from the band Six AM this song is just a gorgeous ballad Lizzy Hale and James Michael can beautifully harmonize this sort of like the formula in the 1980s with the power ballad that every musican and band had during that era. This is an excellent ballad or lighter song because of the emotion. Lizzy Hale really has the ability to sing with such emotion and conviction and this is a prime example of that. This is really in the same light as: beautiful with you also from Halestorm. On the MTV show Remote Control the show featured: Kari Wuhrer who was a panelist on an episode of The List that featured: Carmen Electra and Henry Rollins as the host. I never want to be one of those people who give up to soon on what they want to pursue it may take a long time but at least you are on the process most people give up on their dreams for a simple reason it takes them to long. I do not want to live my life that way especially if it is something I know I want to do. Everyone will get tried and living life takes life out of you. But if you know what you want to do having passion will give you the strength to get up and try again. I think there are a lot of people who know what they want to do but they do not have the path to get there which I find extremely sad. Most people give all of that up for a secure life which there is nothing wrong with security but they never take that risk. Conan O'Brien said something I like on his top 10 rules for success he just said get into the arena in other words go to the place where they are making the thing that you like and do any task they ask you to do if it is getting coffee for someone do it just get in there the problem is just getting in there but that is a whole different issue but just to know what you want because that is the most difficult part knowing what you are going after because as I have said before I hate the question of what do you want or how are you going to accomplish this goal? I find it to be confessing and not helpful. But hopefully as you progress into the thing you like you will get more of idea of what you want and what you like and dislike. Just be extremely persistent not rude but just let them know you are willing to do anything to get your foot in the door. There will probably a lot of jealousy once you find the thing that you like and I am not sure how to prepare for that you might loose people who you thought were your friends but just keep persistenting. I think a lot of the hate I have read online are people who are jealous they want to be in a certain position they are unsatisfied with their lives and they are projecting that on to you. A quote: that Denzel Washington said really brought this home for me he said imagine you are on your death bed and there are a thousand ghosts surrounding your bed and they are disappointed because they came to you in your life ideas dreams that you never brought to life most people will die with their genius still inside of them! Which is the sad part but know this and it is a cliché but if there is a will there is a way. MTV had a special it was a 20 year special called break ups that shocked MTV hosted by one of my favorites: Willa Ford. It started talking about the spring break that started the dating show Singled Out. That show started because of the popularity of MTV's spring break in 1995.
